I think headbutt's should be an immediate point deduction or DQ in severe cases. Too many big fights are ruined because of injuried like cuts, bruises, broken eye-sockets sustained by intentional headbutts
And Haye is an angel? They're both ****s, but a scouser defending a Londoner over one of their own just wouldn't happen.
I'm starting to believe NUFC_Jay when he said you're from Croydon. You're definitely not from Liverpool.
You want to step into the Thunderdome?
I note you didn't deny the bit about being Irish but supporting England...
:lol1:
My family are Irish but I was born here. Always got a soft spot for the Irish, I go there regularly, but I'm English.
This story doesn't stack up for me tbh.. birth certificate or stfu :boxing::lol1:
with all due respect, i saw the first 5 rounds, and haye was up 4-1. bellew would step in and throw a punch here and there, but he was honestly more concerned with avoiding haye's punches, than doing any damage on his own. it was a rather uneventful five rounds.
the reason you saw bellew turn it on in round 6, was because haye injured himself towards the end of round 5.
Bellew is not a HW and never will be. He unloaded all he had and couldn't put down a one legged man.
There will forever be a * on this 'victory'
No way would a scouser defend a ****ney against one of their own.
You've exposed yourself here, mate.
Haye over Bellew any day, Bellew is low life scum.
Oh and you're Irish and follow the England team instead ffs
Yeah, amazing courage shown.
Shane McGuigan should have let him finish the fight tho. Throw the towel in early if you're gonna...the man fought for 6 rounds whilst barely being able to stay upright ffs, now we gotta listen to how Bellew ''stopped'' Haye. He didn't stop jack sh1t...Haye was stopped by the injury.
Evertonians mate, not often they win things so they make the most of it when they do 'win'
Did you give him a chance to last up until the point of injury and be competitive until then?
The achilles was clearly an issue from the first bell, Haye was all over the place stance-wise.
new era dudes, you see it in the streets and you seen in boxing. These new era dudes dont really want any problems. They want to make it to the score cards and cry robbery they dont want to try and get it cause they scared they might get GOT! Real dudes aint never worried about taking an L and these boxers today are worried about getting knocked out. They rather lose on the score cards and cry robbery than to risk maybe getting knocked out trying to prove they are THAT GUY!
Untill boxers are willing to flex their balls in the ring and go for the kill boxing will always fail to impress.
QFT.. Gone are the days of Barrera, Morales, Pacquiao etc etc
Bellew was a HUGE underdog. Nobody gave him a shot to win so he was of course very happy. Bellew's best moment in his boxing career.
He's making out he put on a masterclass, he and the pundits barely mention the ruptured achilles.... Sky showed the replay maybe once!
This is a hollow victory if there ever was one, Haye is an idiot for going into the fight injured also.
This was a non fight, needs a rematch.
Barely mentioned it? Wtf are you on about, they mentioned it every single round and all the time.
Bellew proved he could hang with Haye any way and had his own success. Its not his fault that Haye blew his achilles.
He did what he had to do and got the win. Every reason in the world to be fully satisfied with everything.
NO they didn't, they mentioned it briefly before ending the show "oh btw, Haye had one leg.. goodnight". Fkn Casual boxing fans out in force today.
In his mind it was a masterclass. Bellew excecuted his game plan perfectly and stopped Haye in the 11th round. The last thing Bellew is going to think about after his biggest victory is whether Haye was 100% healthy or not. It's been months of preparing and Bellew was able to do something that most people thought would be impossible. Let the man celebrate and brag about his performance. It was a well deserved victory.
He won by default
haha wtf are you talking about :lol1:
What you're saying is a damn lie.
My stream stopped at the moment it happened so I was unaware of what happened exactly, it took Sky a good 30 minutes after the fight to get off Bellew's c0ck and show me. They were acting like the injury was not a significant factor in the outcome of the fight.
