Enzo was sick as a dog before his fight with David Haye but the record books will show Haye knocked him out in round two. The record books will show that Hopkins beat Pavlik very convincingly and thats all that counts ! no excuses
I dont look to much into the Triangle theory BUT after Calzaghe beat Hopkins alot of posters were saying he looked awful doing it ( which I agree with ) against a 42 year old Hopkins , I just think some posters should credit Calzaghe as Hopkins has proved he is not washed up and I am not being funny the Hopkins v Pavlik fight was not close Hopkins hammered him.
I am pretty new to this forum were posters talking about Lacy the same way they are about Pavlik before Calzaghe took him to school ?
If Calzaghe beats RJJ - People will say he was past his best he would never have beaten him in his prime !!!!
If he then comes back down and beats Pavlik - People will say Pavlik was way overhyped !!!!
For the record I think Pavlik is the real deal but I would like to see him fight a Winky Wright/Kessler to see how he comes off ?
On first Chapter I will let you know - I only read Boxers , NFL Players and Rugby Players Autobiographies as they are the three sports I follow but I find Boxers Autobiographies ( Apart from Steve Collins ) much more interesting.
Hatton is a natural Jr Welterweight but he lost to PBF at Welterweight I did not notice many people moaning about that ? ( For the record I think Hatton would have lost if he fought PBF at Jr Welterweight but thats not the point )

Horus - I only brought Mayweather ( who I am a fan of ) up because someone mentioned it early in the thread.
Cotto is very quick and powerful ( Margarito is just Super Human to walk threw them ) I could not see Mayweather walking through them and I know he is a defence master but he would still get caught by Cotto.
To beat Margarito you have to do what Cotto did the first half of the fight BUT be able to keep it up for the whole 12 rounds as he just does not let up.
I watched the fight last night and I think the two best Welterweights were in action , I think Cotto is class be interesting to see how he reacts to this loss , Margarito is just Super Human I have no idea how he was just walking threw Cotto's punches ( He took alot of big ones ) and he just does not slow down as the fight progresses.
After watching the two in action last night - There is no way Mayweather is comming out of retirement to fight anyone of them as he would lose to both IMO ?
P4P king 2007 - You are not going to like this but to get from Blackpool to Cardiff by Train it takes 5 hours and that is at a normal time I imagine the fight will be pretty late so probably wont be able to do it by Train or at least take longer.
I know this cause I am in Blackpool on a Stag do next year when the EDF Cup semi's are in the Millenium Stadium so I looked at the possibility of travelling down and back again
Wales are playing Scotland in the Six Nations on the 09th so for the fight to be at the Millenium the staff would have to clean up after the fight and get the pitch ready by 14.00 the next day ? And the Swans are playing Millwall at the Liberty on the 08th so I think there is a very good chance the fight will be in London ?
I voted for Enzo but TBH I dont know who will win , I am confident it wont go the distance , I was hoping the fight was going to be held at the Liberty Stadium holds 20,520 but someone else has posted its at the Millenium Stadium which is somewhere I have watched Rugby many times but cant imagine it being that good for Boxing ?
Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank have said Joe Calzaghe would have fitted in well and would still probably be undefeated if he was in the same era ! Sugar Ray Leonard rates him very highly and Barry McGuigan said he is the best Boxer Britain has produced !
Joe Calzaghe has been unlucky as he just missed out on the Eubank , Benn , Collins and Watson era ?
Steve Collins retired instead of fighting him so Calzaghe beat Eubank ( maybe not in his prime )
Jeff Lacy and Nigel Benn are very similar as in they are big hitters , If you look at what Calzaghe did to Lacy and what Watson did to Benn it pretty much answers the question ?
If Calzaghe beats Kessler then a big fight in the states looks likely hopefully against Ronald "Winky" Wright ?
Hatton is a Light Welterweight and has gone up to Welterweight twice ( as far as I am aware ) and stunk the place out , I dont think you will see Hatton at Welterweight again ?
Have I missed something Mayweather v Cotto is it a done deal ?
It is really bugging when people say he would not have beaten him in his prime if Roy feels he is not at his best he should not fight ?
It is like me saying Hopkins would have lost every round if Calzaghe turned up last Saturday ?
