David Haye and Enzo Maccarinelli will meet in an all-British world cruiserweight title fight on 8 March.

i think this is more of a gamble for haye considering the trouble he has staying at this weight, what do you reckon?
By everything I've read on these boards, Haye should knock him out in the first round. Originally this was supposed to be a pickem fight, but is shaping up to be a blowout. I'll root for the underdog, why not? I think Haye's weight drain will be too much for him and Enzo will get to that rather fragile chin of his, probably around round 8.
Its time for the fight so I'm bumping this thread!!! from the poll results you would hve to say a macca victory would be big upset on this board, personally I have the fight close, but I think haye will be too good.
Respect to Haye though.
He went away to Mormeck's backyard and fought the No1 Crusierweight at the time and now he is giving us a fight we have all dreamed of.
Haye we thank you!!!!
realy what makes it so bad? i would defo consider going never been to the millenium stadiun tho
it is pretty shit, theres plenty of bad views to be had in there, i've been twice for boxing, the first time i paid 170 (good old warren prices) for a naff view in a freezing cold stadium.
The O2 is a much better venue from a spectator perspective.
i'm backing haye but it won't be easy. like someone said, i can see him getting kd'd on the way to a ko victory. haye has matured since his one loss and doesn't go charging in from the opening bell any more. macca similiarly is a lot more careful lately.
i reckon this is going to be a 7th or 8th round tko win for haye.
If it's in the Millenium Stadium I'm not going. Awful venue for boxing, the worst I've ever been to.

Haye may well indeed win, but it wont be easy as Enzo is actually a world champ. So he has earned his right to be fighting Haye and vice versa.
And it coiuld go to points this one. People so certain it wont go the distance though.
I cant see any real solid arguement to say enzo will win, although i like the man.
The skill and better opposition are clearly with Haye, and thats a result of better management who concentrate on boxing rather than creating celebrity cash cows who fight part time teachers.
I really hope this is in london, I went to cardiff twice last year for boxing and spent a fortune. Plus the O2 is much better than the millenium stadium for boxing.
The only way this won't end in a KO win for Haye is the weight issue. Maccarinelli, although a solid fighter hasn't showed much in a way of being able to cope with Haye.
Enzo and Haye have had a lot of stick over the internet and by critics that they were trying to avoid each other. But the fact that they have got it together shows that they probably did want each other but politics got in the way.
True. After Calzaghe, these are my two favourite British fighters so I'm delighted to see them in action against each other. I think its a massive mistake for Haye to stay at CW but it'll be good while it lasts!

Macca has in the main hasnt had enough good quality opposition..its embarassing sometimes to see the guys he is fighting...i dnt blame hmi..his management need to look at themselves for that one..and i believe it will be the factthat Haye has faced better fighters, higher quality oppositions, that will give him the edge,i expect a knock down win,in the mid to late rounds.
