Yep another great article Juy, I always keep these articles there that good to read, I still got you're one with Rooneys training regime's and training techniques. Once again thanks.
most underrated is right now is sugar shane cause everybody thinks he is done but i think he has some left in the tank
I really hope your right, I still believe he can get it back, but I always will(huge fan).
Well I guess you can think of it that way. I think its great that younger fighters honor past fighters by referecing or copying some of their ways. Keeps the old fighters legend alive.
I'm with enadeus on this one and I quite liked his nickname.
Fights in order -
Maussa
Cotto
Witter
Mayweather
that would be OK for me, but i doubt thats the plan.
After reading what JuyJuy had wrote I was a little disappointed because I didn't want to wait for three more fights to see Mayweather v Hatton, but then began thinking what three fights I would make and came up with what you got Evil, except I had Witter before Cotto, to give Cotto some more time to be better prepared for Hatton (he's a little green). Then I scrowd down and you had all done it for me.I 'd be happy with that list.
cotto showed alot of heart and when he boxes hes great to watch it just looks like when he stands and trades, he leaves his chin open, gets caught and gets wobbled, he was very lucky to get out of the second round, hes not been impressive for his last few fights imo, i think hatton, PBF would beat him, he needs to move to 147 tho i reckon making weight is killing him
Spot on.
message is short
I to am interested in this fight just not yet, I need to see something from Shane to show me he's back to his old self, a couple of tune ups and if he impresses then HE could defintley test Floyd, I wasn't to impressed with Shane when he thought Estrada.
I saw this and thought of you.........
Juy juy I watched Eubank V Sherry last night on Bravo - l
me too.
The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters.
For Floyd to win this IMO, it's going to take more then pure skill, its going to take heart, and lot's of it.
Yep and that can show how great he really is.
Wow that is a waste of time. Witter should kill Branco. Well as long as he doesnt get lazy but it should still be an easy fight for him. Well lets just hope some big fights happen soon. I would love to see Witter vs Hatton that would be a huge fight over here in england I would drive anywhere to see that fight. Cotto vs Witter would be a good fight as well, I give witter a very good chance of beating Cotto. I would also love to see Hatton Vs Cotto. I really want to see Ricardo Torres again when he is properly prepared and conditioned he looks like he could be a great 140lber. Mayweather vs Any of those guys would also be good fights. Well lets just hope we get some of those fights to happen so the fans can be Happy.
All those fights I would be interested in, except Floyd v Mayweather for some reason I'm not to interested in that fight, just seems like Floyd UD all over it.
ahh shit I feel sleepy as hell, but I will make it through the fights. Don't think I'll be up in the morning now, probaly be in bed at least till 2 in the afternoon. AH well you guys can fill me up witth whats on the dvd.
I think this fight would look pretty close to Gatti - Floyd.
NO way, I think its a pick-em fight with either Ricky using his natural strength advantage, relentless work rate and stamina to get to Floyd late (either winning by late stoppage or out hustling Floyd) through his body shots and pressure or Floyd being able to use his footwork and defensive skills to outbox Ricky for a decision. My mouth is drooling at the prospect at this fight.
I'd have to go with Calzaghe on points. Calzaghe would drag Tarver into a war and I would imagine the scores would read something like 117-112
I know a lot of you are pissed off with Joe at the moment because the fight with Lacy has been put back, but Calzaghe is a quality fighter... If he was as bad as some of you are saying, then why would Jeff Lacy bother fighting him?
Good post and I agree.
People talking about about Cotto coming in too big for Castillo must not know how big Castillo likes coming into fights. Who wins? I don't know.
You’re right Castillo comes in big and this weight would probably suit him more, but I think a lot of Cotto and though I don't think its a fore gone conclusion, I think he would outbox Castillo to get a UD but Castillo will definitely have his moments with his pressure and work rate.
dont know whether hatton has said he wants it now or not but ricky, billy graham, and frank warren all want the fight bad (very suprising for warren, he must be very confident). but this is not the point as floyd looks likly to face zab end of this year which means ricky has been over lookd.......for the time being. So ricky will have to face "easy" defences due to the other big guns being occupied with their own fights. the fight will take place in uk no doubt about it and floyd will have to realise this sooner or later. there is nowhere in the US even the world which would get 30,000+ so this is the most profitable venue. i agree it shouldnt be in manchester and have a non british referee that way PBF and all the haters have no excuses if it all works out for the hitman.
I just can't see Floyd fighting in the UK.
