He should retire but he insists he’s fighting for another 5 years which is just ridiculous. Hes been going down hill for the last 4 years.
So, if he is fighting another 5 years, he’ll just wait for Benividas to grow out of the division and then fight him.
What exactly has happened for him to suggest he's been going down hill the last 4 years? I'm intrigued by this comment.
Dude literally just left his promoter to avoid facing Benavidez. There's your answer.
Not sure if you are just ignorant due to laziness, or you are purposely ignoring reality.
Canelo leaving PBC had nothing to do with Benavidez. It had everything to do with what PBC could not provide which was $$ to satisfy the rest of his contract.
When did Wilder ever have a chin..... What fight makes you think his chin was elite? He was hurt by Ortiz repeatedly in that first fight. The first fight Wilder fought someone who was willing to bring the fight to him rather than taking it on the chin and cashing a check.
Wilder has fought NO ONE outside of the previous 2 names mention. When will people stop trying to make excuses for his faults and just accept what is. If he gets put to sleep in this fight, it will have NOTHING to do with Fury's punches. It will be because Wilder is now fighting guys willing to engage with him and are talented enough to clip him when he makes mistakes.
i dont think fury can beat aj or it will be a tough match for him... because even tho you can say that fury didnt take the fight serious against francis, etc... the fact that most people thought that francis won should tell us all we need to know about fury... fury should have still been able to beat francis with ease with very little training but that didnt happen so that tells us that fury is not that good.
Fury is still the man to beat. Let's not act like Fury hasn't came back from worse and dominate an opponent people claimed was the scariest thing with gloves on. And he did it 3x. AJ did open the opportunity to suggest he still deserves a shot at a big payday vs top opposition.
Both he and Wilder are still trying to market themselves as go-to fighters for big paydays
Shut yo ho ass up, boy.
Such a bitch boy response.....Why TF are you even here clown. This is a boxing discussion and your stupid ass is acting emotional, why, because I said something negative about one of your favorite men you cheer for.......
Everyone's tough with a WiFi connection. Bitch all you have to do is ignore my post if you have no real response to the FACTS I pointed out.
Well deserved for Inoue. I think Bud had the best performance of the year but that didn't warrant fighter of the year.
Agree.
Now that allegedly the rematch clause may be a nonfactor. Hopefully we can see him attempt to get the award this year. Like him or hate him, Crawford in the ring is great for the sport. Even if his opponent is someone that American fans don't approve of or know anything about.
I get that the bigger names in the sport warrant much more of a financial burden to those promoting and pushing the event, but I would love for the top guys to be active much more than what most of them do. For different reasons, I understand why.....but some individuals like Gary Russell Jr, Charlo, etc..... I don't like that they demand accolades and respect based on their being able to get in front of some YouTuber and campaign about how talented and valuable they are to the sport.
My post was why the fight was never going to happen, Crawford is too much of a risk for Boot's young career.
But to get back to the original question, Boots at one point was mandatory to Crawford's WBO title. Instead of facing Crawford for his WBO strap, Boots gave up his ranking and went with the IBF.
So there, now it makes sense.
You're answering a question that wasn't being asked. The question was WHO ARE THE FIGHTERS THAT AVOIDED BOOTS. Your responds was "the obvious answer is Terence Crawford"...... Suggesting that Crawford avoided Boots.....Which is false for the reasons I pointed out and, ironically, the reasons you pointed out as well, thus you are arguing against your original comment.
So, no, it doesn't make sense because I'm not sure if you are saying that Crawford avoided Boots or if you are saying that Boots decided against taking a Crawford fight at this point in his career.
Just being honest, my comprehension on your stance is a bit blurry.
If Boots' camp is really serious about the Crawford fight, all they can do is contact BLK and see if they can still revive their previous offer. Showtime is gone. Who else is there to make such fight?
All they have to do is contact Crawford's camp and express an actual interest instead of just jumping in front of some YouTubers camera to talk about Crawford. Crawford isn't legally bound to any platform so BLK Prime isn't the only ones who can make the fight happen. DAZN is there as well. All of PBC is going to be on Amazon Prime..... And truthfully, all they have to do is start the negotiation and the boxing sanctions can order a purse bid......This would get the companies to compete via auction to host the fight.....It also will help to get Boots a purse that touches 7 figures for the first time in his career....
But truth of the matter is.............BOOTS DOESN'T REALLY WANT THAT FIGHT RIGHT NOW..... It just sounds good to say simply because it keeps him relevant and silly platforms and fans will help push the notion that he is being "avoided".......
These fighters know the protocol and how to make fights happen. It literally takes fights the ability of turning down an official offer for the fight not to happen. Like what Danny Garcia did to Crawford, same with Porter the first time before a purse bid, same with JARON ENNIS when approached by the WBO to be made the mandatory......
Spence was damaged goods and deathly drained.
He wasn't damaged goods until the 2nd round of the Crawford fight..... Stop with the bull$hit. Only an idiot is consistently believing the nonsense that keeps being pushed once Crawford beats down their favorite fighter.
From Prescott to Gamboa to Postol to Indongo to Khan to Brook to Porter to Spence......each of these fighters were supposed to "expose" some weakness in Crawford and capitalize on it. Each of them had a story line that changed after they fought Crawford.......
Prescott was suppose to be too experience, Crawford wasn't ready for that stage.................Crawford outclasses him for 10 rounds...........Then Prescott was just "a journeyman".
Gamboa was an undefeated 3 division champion ranked #5 p4p by The Ring Magazine...........Crawford puts him on the mat 5x..............Then Gamboa's been out of the ring too long. He was too small to be fighting Crawford.
Postol was Freddie Roach's "next up" after Manny. Was suppose to expose Crawford...........Crawford 12-0'ed Postol...........Then Postol was a nobody because American fans didn't know who he was.
People claim Crawford was avoiding Indongo because he hinted to wanting to move up to 147........Crawford dominates him in 3 rounds..........Then... 'Who did Indongo beat to become champion'......
Amir Khan was suppose to be too quick for Crawford with decent ring IQ. Crawford's only chance at beating him was to catch him with a sleeper for a KO because of his weak chin......................Crawford not only puts him on the ground in the first round, but continues to outbox him for the next 5 rounds before Khan quits...............Then Khan was never a threat with a glass chin.
Kell Brook was suppose to be too big, too strong, too smart.............Crawford makes one adjustment and stops him in the 4th...............Then regardless of Brook saying he was in the best shape of his career coming off 3 wins.......2 by stoppage.......Brook was a shell of himself....damaged goods.
Oh, but Crawford was suppose to be scared to fight Porter. Porter was suppose to 'come to fight'....Guaranteed a KO, doubled down on it the week of the fight. Was suppose to put more pressure on Crawford than he's ever experienced in his life...............Crawford physically and mentally whipped Porter in 10...........Porter was 'too old' (regardless of Crawford being older). He was planning on retiring (though their was ZERO discussion of retiring before the fight). Porter was damaged goods (with no evidence of any major injuries through his entire career, no stoppage losses, etc.....).
Now we have Spence....the guy Crawford was suppose to be too small for. Light in the a$$. Spence was asked repeatedly was his plans was to beat Crawford....all he stated was he was going to BREAK HIM.......his strategy was to BREAK HIM....lol. Crawford showed up to Vegas a couple days before Spence. People were telling jokes on the forums and in comments stating Crawford looked drained, yet, the same folk claim they don't think he's gonna make weight because he was in a jogging suit in Vegas. What sense does that make. To claim he's too small, but he looks drained and is struggling to LOSE weight for a fight?..............We saw what Crawford did to him............Now we have all these B.S. excuses on why Spence wasn't able to BREAK Crawford..... Eye surgery that he waited 2 years and 3 fights to have? Cataracts, yet I still haven't see him wear a single pair of shades under the ultraviolet lights at any of the press conferences.
We as fans got to stop giving these grown a$$ men who choose to participate in this sport, a platform to whine and cry about getting their a$$ whipped. They given these excuses because some of us silly fans choose to believe and push the notion for them. Meanwhile we are discrediting the other fighters who worked hard for the accomplishments they got the night of.
What we see is that Spence has shown himself to be less than the most disciplined over his career. Heavy drinking, not the most favorable friends surrounding him (allegedly), often seen clearly overweight when not in camp, etc....... What we see in Crawford is much of the opposite. Consistently in the gym even when not in camp. Often in camp with other fighters giving pointers and/or sparring. Doesn't drink or club (with the exception of the parade that was thrown for him this year). Fact is, if you are a pro......be a pro....take care of yourself. If you don't, your body will tell on you. It's your own damn fault. PERIOD.
Exactly this.
If Crawford would've smoked Ennis like he did Spence to end the year?
He would've be deserving.
First of all, I agree, I'm not as sold on Ennis- like many on this site are......but that's a different conversation......
As far as Crawford.......
Y'all keep barking at Crawford about things out of his control..... Crawford has said multiple times since leaving Top Rank that he wants to fight 3x in the calendar year. He couldn't do it last year because after Spence beat Ugas, there was zero urgency to start the negotiations. Then when they did start, it went for 6 months only to get thrown out over certain details in the contract... Then this year, it took Crawford and Spence getting on the phone to iron out the details themselves to get the ball rolling. And for some strange reason, all of a sudden, PBC wants a "REMATCH CLAUSE" placed in the contract. Something they didn't have on any of the other unification bouts between Thurman/Porter, Thurman/Danny, Porter/Danny, Spence/Mikey, Spence/Porter, Spence/Danny, Manny/Spence (that ended up being Manny/Ugas), Ugas/Spence........NOT ONE of those fights were legally bound by a rematch clause........But Crawford/Spence couldn't happen unless it was agreed upon that the clause be in the contract.........
Then after Crawford wins the bout, the clause has to be activated within 30 days.....It took Spence 32 days to officially activate the rematch clause..... Then news broke that Showtime was hanging their gloves up on boxing, so now a new platform needs to take over the contract...... Crawford COULD NOT legally negotiate any other fight outside of a Spence fight for this year...... Crawford's accomplishment was by far THE BIGGEST SINGLE ACCOMPLISHMENT we have seen in decades.......2 top pound for pound undefeated champ in their prime facing off for the first undisputed at 147 in the 4 belt era........Obviously all the excuses as to why he was so dominant came in afterwards as it usually does after a Crawford fight....... 2x Undisputed, 3x Lineal, 9x world champion, 12 wins by stoppage in a row..... The single flaw against him not being fighter of the year......he only fought once.......Okay....
So people have said guys like Thurman, Ortiz, Stanionis but the obvious answer is Terence Crawford.
With all that being said however, I'm going to tell you why Bud vs Boots will never happen.
Bud is at the stage of his career where he wants his name to be elevated, he wants the big time, brand building fights like a Canelo fight.
Boots on the other hand, brings nothing to the table, (I know he has the IBF belt but Crawford's been there and done that, not interested) and he has no fanbase right now and probably never will.
Boots may want to fight Crawford but his team not going to let him because that fight is too risky, they still need to make some paper before throwing him to the wolves.
The question is "what names have avoided Boots".......how is the "obvious answer" Terence Crawford when he never avoided that boy..... Mfers get on here and say the silliest things without checking the logic.
Crawford and his camp along with the WBO contacted Boots camp about the fight and it was turned down. Bozy Ennis said the reason was their "loyalty" to Showtime. Ummm ok, being that Crawford wasn't contractually bound to any platform, why didn't you negotiate....Ironically, Crawford's fight vs Spence was on Showtime. Boots camp was contacted A SECOND TIME by BLK Prime in attempt to get a second fight with Crawford on their platform. Bozy confirmed that both conversations happened.
So again, how is it that Terence Crawford is the "obvious answer".....Make it make sense.
Crawford is a 2x Undisputed, 3x Lineal, 9x World Champion. Him looking for a big fight is what he DESERVES. Why do y'all try to make it seem like his hard work and accomplishments is minor, but then turn around and praise some fighter(s) who are TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH WHAT HE HAS......He's one of the most decorated active fighters in the sport.
Of course, Crawford isn't looking for a Boots fight at this moment.... Boots can't even get his handlers to get him a purse above $500K....... Crawford has made over $35/40M in his last 2 fights combined. It's been over a decade since he had a fight in which his purse was under a million.
And Thurman, Ortiz, nor Stanionis have avoided Boots either. Stanionis actually asked for the fight. Ortiz was open to it. Thurman is an accomplished fighter. Marketable, even though has been highly inactive as of late. He said verbatim....SEND THE CONTRACT......Yet, his phone has yet to ring, his email has yet to give an alert, the mailman has yet to deliver.....anything regarding the Ennis camp being interested in making the fight. Because THAT'S A FIGHT HE COULD ACTUALLY GET especially now, because he has something that Thurman is willing to fight for........
Spence was a fat lazy bum. Damaged goods and badly drained on the night against Bud. Spence was NEVER elite, a boogeyman, or even really Pound 4 Pound.
Inoue >>> Crawford
FOH.
LOL......goofy.....None of y'all were saying that before July 29th...... The notion if Crawford doesn't fight him, then his legacy is tarnished for never fighting a great fighter..... All this hindsight ignorance you chanting really means nothing at the end of the day.
Your goofy ass know nothing about Inoue's opponents without googling their work. You sound stupid arguing Inoue over Crawford.....especially since I have yet to say that Inoue doesn't deserve fighter of the year...... If your silly ass actually read the conversation before begging for attention via an argument, you would have seen that I'm for Inoue as much as I am for Crawford. Stupid a$$
Well deserved.... Only other fighter with an argument for that award this year was Crawford...... I can't help but laugh at everyone arguing Haney to be FOTY over Inoue or Crawford.
Lomachenko and Regis Prograis are two very good wins.
Crawford only had one.
Inoue had a good one in Fulton and a so-so one in Tapales.
Thus the reason I said...."Well Deserved" to start my comment.......
But the difference is, Loma and Regis are a couple of very good wins........ Based on name sake....neither were in their prime. Neither are p4p. Both had some suspect performances resulting in losses &/or controversially close results. Loma didn't even have a title.
Spence was a GREAT win combined with a great and dominant performance. Top 5 p4p, Undefeated.....Reigning Unified and was the #1/2 fighter in the division.
Again, Inoue to most fans who only pay attention to the surface of the sport and not the depths, has the best argument....But there is zero arguments pre or post fight suggesting Fulton to be one of the best in the sport, p4p talent. Good fighter, no doubt and Tapales.....most have to google search his career.
Truthfully, the amount of times you've fought should not be the deciding factor on who the "fighter of the year" should be.... Because easily I'd be able to point out the hypocrisy throughout the sport on different accomplishments for other fighters...... Both Tyson Fury & Teofimo won Fighter of the Year with only fighting once in a calendar year.... How was it that Crawford didn't win it over Carl Frampton in 2016 when he fought and won 2 world titles as well as winning a lineal title from the Ring Magazine. Having "one more fight" wasn't a factor then....it all should be based on the accomplishment of the fighter within that year. Hell, Crawford won undisputed....the first in almost 20 years....in 2017 and it was awarded to Loma because the media was trying to push this "No Mas Chenko" movement while Loma was getting in the ring with guys he was much bigger than naturally. Thus the reason Teofimo had zero respect for him and wanted to get in the ring with him so badly.
ANYWAY.....
Inoue won all 4 titles, as well as the ring magazine (lineal) in his division, this year over good competition.... He deserves FOTY.....
But just because Inoue deserves it, doesn't mean that a man who goes out and DOMINATES a fellow p4p undefeated unified champ to become the first Undisputed in 2 divisions doesn't deserve it as well.
That's the only thing I disagree with in this forum with some posters.... They are trying to suggest that Crawford doesn't deserve FOTY because he fought once......When everyone knows leading up to the fight and post......There was no single bigger fight to be made than that fight on July 29th, because it was built on accomplishment in the sport and not by popularity contest (Tank vs Ryan).
Inoue > Crawford
Um.....okay. Dumbass. Did you want an argument for this......Inoue is top 5 as well. You must've been a Spence Fanboy. It seems a great deal of y'all are new found Inoue fans because you don't want to congratulate Crawford for beating the dog shit out of your Man Crush......FOH.
You aren't going to get any actual names because Bozy nor Jaron can give you an actual name of anyone who has ever turned down an official offer to fight Boots. It's a narrative that they have/are using to keep him relevant enough to promote as a tough opponent. So far it has worked as he has been able to get the powers that be to strip a title from an Undisputed champ just a couple months after winning the title. Ignoring the fact that they are legally bound to a rematch clause.
What we do know for a FACT is that Boots and/or his camp turned down the Crawford fight twice. They were approached by the WBO & Crawford's camp prior to Crawford fighting Avaneysan. They were also approached after the Avaneysan fight by BLK Prime, before Crawford got on the phone with Spence for their match up. They reasons for declining those offers were loyalty to Showtime & $$ that they wasn't sure BLK Prime had the money to throw the event. (Weird considering, Boots largest purse is only like $500K, so he would have gotten a massive raise to fight FOR A TITLE vs Crawford)
This question shouldn't be a subject on a forum that is 7+ pages long, to answer. Literally NOT ONE NAME came out of Boots mouth when Crawford asked him the exact question when he called in to "Million Dollars Worth of Game" podcast when asked who he contacted to make the fight vs Crawford. He was caught in the lie because Crawford is straight forward. Something these YouTubers aren't. They are the ones feeding this false narrative because it gives them content for their next video.
Hatton
Pac
Canelo
Prime years is referring to when an athlete is at the peak of his/her ability withing their sport......That being said........you are convinced that Canelo was better in 2013 than he is today?.....lol. And Manny beat out Floyd 3 out 4 years for Fighter of the year from 2006-2009. Around the time people actually was calling for the fight originally. Mayweather fought him 6 years later....
He was 24-0-0-0 against world titlists.
Demetrius Andrade is 34 and is currently 0-0-0-0 against world titlists.
Did I miss something......Who was talking about Boo Boo?
There’s not a lot of ATG’s around otherwise they wouldn’t be ATG’s. Pac turned down a fight in 09, 10. He never really had an opportunity other than that. Canelo but some would say he wasn’t in his prime at 23. However Floyd was already a complete fighter at 23. That just shows the difference between a great fighter like Canelo and an ATG like Floyd.
Complete fighter and prime are 2 different things. Canelo was not at the peak of his ability at the age of 23. And neither was Floyd. Canelo has gotten stronger, smarter, and more efficient since fighting Floyd and even more after the GGG fight. He definitely was not in his prime.
It’s not surprising to see a Manny fan hold it against Floyd that Manny, odh, and Shane all refused to fight Floyd when they were prime.
Manny is coming off a loss to Ugas so many of his very worst fans like the TS are desperate to bring up old stuff because no one talks about Manny anymore.
Is this really necessary in 2022?
Wish the forum would get rid of cum gurgling losers like the TS who never contributes anything, logs on only to hate on Floyd and suck Manny’s c0ck, and doesn’t know anything about the sport.
Has the TS or anyone like him ever thought The images of Manny having to be spoon fed after Ugas brutally beat him is karma for Manny fans always doing garbage like this?
Lol......every forum I see Manny fans call Floyd fans every name in the book while acting like Manny walks on water. Then the response is Floyd fans calling Manny fans every name in the book while acting like Floyd walk on water.
Me as just a boxing fan never understood the hatred one side had for the other as both had great careers that not too many any history can hold a match to. Fact is they both beat a bunch of great names in the sport whether they were prime/too young or old.....those fighters got in the ring with the mission to win the fight. Respect to both of them.
Manny tried to beat the real undisputed champion and fail.......Father Time....taking a long layoff and attempting to defeat another world class fighter at the age of 42 is a crazy idea but it's what Manny do. Step to the challenge. To hear Floyd fans try to knock him for losing to a world champion like Ugas is hypocritical because we all know that Floyd up in his age chose to fight a man who had ZERO amateur & professional boxing experience. Followed it up with a bout with a kids who was half his size & then with a YouTuber......Manny still attempted to challenge himself until he couldn't do it no more. Got bullied by a much bigger Jeff Horn, then redeemed himself vs Mathysee & got a win vs a prime Keith Thurman only to call it quits after a Ugas loss.
Both had amazing careers and deserve to be respected by BOXING FANS, especially by a bunch of mfers who can't even win a mind fight let alone compete in the ring
Absolutely! We are far removed from the time where matching the best versus the best was viable for all involved. Boxing isn't as mainstream as it used to be so the public pressure isn't enough to make many of the fights. I mean, it literally took 6 years to make the May - Pac fight and they were by far the biggest names in the sport.
Unless there's an obscene amount of money to be made, it is too easy to take a path of least resistance or greater prolonged success for moderate pay against lesser opposition.
And truthfully, there was no era in which all of the best fighters faced each other for the sake of legacy. This sport has always been a money/marketing game along with illegal ties and dealings. We just heard more about the top fights being advertised more back then where as now, you'll see a bunch of fighters with 4 fights combined facing off before a big fight. Fighters faced comfortable competition until their name was recognize beyond a certain person fan base then they were matched up with a couple ranked fighters in their division until a title shot opportunity manifested. It's just not everyone acts like a single loss is the end of your career so they refuse to even face tough competition even after they have built a name for themselves in the sport and/or even have a title already.
I thought for sure he was going to fight Spence & go to Pbc,but now that they came out & said theres no money to make that fight(& Bud doesn't seem like he will ever budge)
So you decide,is this the end of Buds career as a top fighter?
So somehow you have convinced yourself that Crawford's care is based on a fight with Spence...... a guy who has yet to fight an undefeated champ in his entire career but claims to be "the Truth".......lol.
Crawford is 35 years old and clearly has yet to finish a fight in which he is questioned as the victory. Hell it's been almost a decade since he's went the distance with anyone. He doesn't party hard, doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, and he stays in the gym. The man takes care of his body better than many of the younger fighters just getting into the game. We shouldn't be talking about him hanging up his gloves until he starts talking about hanging up his gloves or somebody retires him.....PERIOD.
GUARANTEE this man is in better than 99.9% of the people questioning him fighting at his age. Nothing has happened to him to showcase we should be questioning him fighting for another few years.
Shows how bad Lopez's last two performances were, his reputation has completely gone to s hit. Same with Taylor who has behaved pathetically since he robbed Catterall and refused to right that wrong.
They were never PPV draws even before their most recent performances....
My boxing friend, I met “US” not the United States. I wasn’t calling out we American boxing fans. I just don’t get how a fight between Lopez-Taylor on regular ESPN isn’t a great thing.
Ahh, I got you. My apologies.
I agree. I like the match up and will tune in. I'm happy it's not on PPV as I don't feel it's worthy of a PPV ticket unless they were to get a major co-main bout to add to it.
Don't blame them, blame WBC who told the world that Teo was undisputed despite Haney holding a belt.
Holding 3 world titles in one division is still impressive. Not sure why people try to down play the accomplishment because "he wasn't actually undisputed"....He beat Loma to get those titles. Something none of the other "young guns" at the time were in a rush to attempt.
And Haney was "promoted" to WBC champion when the WBC moved Loma to "Franchise Champion".....thus since he didn't beat any world champ to gain the belt, he was labeled a "paper champion".......This is the reason why Teofimo was glorified and labeled undisputed because he beat the "WBC Franchise Champ".........
You beat a man who still walks in the ring with a green WBC belt being held up by someone in his corner during introductions.....why wouldn't you think that you also won that title?
I scan this forum once every two weeks now. Used to be daily user.
Your point is?........
I scan this forum once in a while..... There are an ABUNDANCE of forums that don't interest me and guess what....... You won't see me commenting in them. Not even to tell people that I don't care about them, because that's silly.
YOU clicked on the title of this thread because YOU had some interest in the conversation regarding the 2 individuals in the title.
Nobody asked you if you cared about the match up. They wouldn't have even thought twice about if you did or not if you would have just skipped passed the thread. Making an announcement that you don't care about something you willingly clicked on is laughable and silly. Just saying......
That like me walking into a burger joint telling people that I don't like hamburgers....... Not a single person enjoying their burger gives a damn about me not liking something they are eating....but it does make me look silly walking through those doors to tell people I don't like it...... Because......what is the point?
Yes he did tampered his gloves the evidence was all over the internet and you must be a newbie if you think that spence is not on PEDS.
There was zero evidence. If you are ignorant enough to believe a bunch of random ass people posting pics and giving their fake ass professional evaluation or the word of the MAKERS of the gloves....the officials who evaluated the gloves before, during, and after the fight.....as well as the commission who did their own investigation and obviously saw zero evidence of tampering from Crawford's camp, then you are choosing to be clueless and I can't help you.
As far as Spence......you seem to have a struggle with comprehension. I said I am unaware of the story around Spence PED allegations..... I didn't say I didn't believe it. You probably should focus on understanding what you read before trying to argue it.
Crawford & Porter is a perfect example! Fans are just fickle.
Exactly....... It's an argument many of those Man Fans run from........ Porter had to pick himself off the canvas 6 different times, yet they label him a "dog" in the ring..... Crawford has zero score knockdowns on his record both as a pro and amateur.....yet his chin is in question......Where's the logic?......lol.
Margarito hand wrap are also customize but they are illegal because they put something just like crawford customize gloves.
Your responses are getting more and more clueless.... Hand wraps and gloves are 2 different things. Margarito has been caught cheating 3 different times. Crawford has ZERO history of it.
You clearly don't know shit about the protocol of a fight occurring so I'll help you. Because if "ignorance" is your reason for these dumb ass comments then I'll excuse them. But if you are just purposely commenting with dumb responses, then you are wasting my time.
For all of the world title fights there is a protocol.
THE WRAPS:
-Both fighters have their hands wrapped in the presence of an official, the sanctioning body rep & a member of the opposing camp.
-Once they are approved by all parties, the fighter is not allowed to leave sight of the camera with them on otherwise the fighter would have them cut off and re-wrapped with the same protocol in place (for example if the fighter has to use the restroom).
-Wraps are always exposed to the air until the gloves are placed on in which another protocol goes into effect.
THE GLOVES:
-The fighters choose 2 sets of gloves in case of "malfunction" to the first pair put on. They do this 24 hours before the fight.
-Those gloves are examined by the commissioner, sanctioning body rep, & a member from the opposing camp before the gloves are taken by the officials and aren't seen again by either fighter's camp until time to put them on.
-Once the gloves are brought to the locker room, they are never out of sight of the official rep and camera. Even though you as a view don't always see it on television, that camera is constantly on the gloves.
-Fighters are required to take the gloves off if they have to go to the restroom as they can not take the gloves out of sight of the official rep.
This protocol is always in place in the most recent years due to issues that occurred in the history of the sport as recently as the early 2010s. These are the facts given. If you are continuing to argue your point, then that means you have to have some proof that the protocol was violated, otherwise you sound as ignorant as the next ignorant fan who simply just talk to be heard because they don't like a specific fighter.
Crawford's "tampering" accusations was crushed when the makers of the gloves, explained exactly what THEIR MISTAKE was in creating the gloves. Yet you are on here trying to push the notion, showcasing you have an agenda.......Your energy could be used to actually educate yourself on protocol rather than trying to argue shit you don't know anything about.
