Why do some fans call Haney chinny? But Teofimo Lopez (who got dropped against Kambosos, got dropped twice against Sandor Martin & got KO'd twice by a 7-0 prospect at the time) is never labelled chinny?:thinking:
Matias is a wrecking ball. I don’t think Prograis who is a warrior wants any problem with that
Matias has done nothing to scare off any elite in that division. He's had wars with fighters who will never compete for a title in the division. He's a flat foot puncher.....Similar to Yordenis Ugas at 147. Prograis's IQ and footwork would expose Matias in the early rounds. I wouldn't mind seeing the fight honestly. Unification bout would be a great treat for fans late this year in the 140lb division.
Would love to see Haney fight Subriel Matias to see where his heart and chin are at?
Haney would have to move up to get that fight. He has plenty of time for that....
Crawford & Porter is a perfect example! Fans are just fickle.
Exactly....... It's an argument many of those Man Fans run from........ Porter had to pick himself off the canvas 6 different times, yet they label him a "dog" in the ring..... Crawford has zero score knockdowns on his record both as a pro and amateur.....yet his chin is in question......Where's the logic?......lol.

It just depend on what fan you are speaking with........
I asked the same thing about Shawn Porter and Crawford..... some fans question Crawford's chin because he got buzzed by an undefeated Gamboa back when but was 135lbs moving up to 140 and when he got hit clean vs Edgijus Kavaliauskas, who is a solid puncher..... But no one questioned Shawn Porter's chin. They actual said the opposite claiming "he comes to fight" when he was dropped by Adrien Broner and Errol Spence Jr. and was hurt twice by Yordenis Ugas.....
Certain fans will change the narrative and move the goal posts depending on the Man they love......nothing to stress over.
Truth is, there isn't a fighter at this level that hasn't been buzz and/or effected by a clean shot in their career..... From Floyd to Canelo to Loma to Crawford to whoever...... It's boxing.....you are going to get punched and being that you are human, it just might hurt.....it's about what you do after you've gotten punched that matters.

Wanna bet??? That fight is going 12 numbnutz. But put your money where dics usually goes....
i most definitely will bet on that. Haney isn't losing to a 35 year old lightweight. stop it. And after he wins, you and the rest of the bandwagon fake azz fans will say, "loma was old"(what I'm telling you he is now) and abandon him. Easy 12 round decision
He fought much smaller Kambosos and will fight even smaller Loma who have average punch power.
He is ducking hard punchers. Also, he got rocked before. That's why.
Another STUPID observation from an idiot. What “hard punchers” has Haney “ducked”? You’re a phucking idiot.
From probing shots no less.

And we're told "its a good thing because some guys wouldn't get up."
Loma and Campbell got dropped, got up immediately and were fine. I'd rather take an eight count and go back to fighting than be fucked for three rounds.
But I've actually boxed, so what do I know?
I basically explained in the same post.
Lopez didn’t get hurt. Haney almost died.
Almost died :lol1::lol1: BoxingScene is gold.. I love coming here when I need a laugh!
He's going to beat loma easier than Tank did Garcia. stop it.
Like he beat Diaz easily? Loma's skill level is leagues beyond Haney's. Haney's only real advantage is size. Youth maybe, but Haney fights like an older fighter.
The guy is pretty big. We will find out what is he made from when he moves to 140, which could be after Loma fight.
If he even beats Loma.
He's going to beat loma easier than Tank did Garcia. stop it.
He may not be chinny, but there is no doubt he felt some things from Garcia last night that slightly hurt him. He was clinching and didn't want to get hit again. But Garcia walked into a counter that put him down that no one should have been shocked about
Why would you rather be Lopez? If you get dropped twice you lose two 10-8 rounds.

Lopez didn’t get hurt. Haney almost died.
In these specific scenarios I would rather be Lopez. Lopez got flash KD’ed, got up, and didn’t appear to be hurt.
Haney was punched by Linares and basically stumbled around the ring like a drunk for 3 rounds while also amusingly and blatantly hugging Linares. He looked like a damn fool in there after 1 punch.
To add insult to injury, Haney is bigger than Linares. Haney is a big LW and looked like THAT with one punch from an average puncher.
Why would you rather be Lopez? If you get dropped twice you lose two 10-8 rounds.
It's not necessarily that he's super chinny, but being bothered multiples times by light punching Diaz isn't a great sign. And there's probably a reason he holds so much.
Floyd held a-lot too. So did Ward & Hopkins.
