Tyson didn't knock him out? I remember him being knocked almost unconscious, maybe he doesn't even remember it.
And I think Holmes still wants to fight Foreman after all these years.

Lol, yeah I did a once over on that one too. But you gotta respect the way he tells it like it was about Cooney, King and Ali. THOSE things I have no problem believing.
Yeah, a lot of people say he's bitter and whatnot but I think he just says what's on his mind and doesn't care whether people agree with him or not, it's good to hear that once in a while.
I think bad team more than anything, even if he was ducked he shouldn't have only fought 3 times in 2 years, his momentum from the Contender and from that FOTY candidate final with Codrington was squandered.
Prime Marquez or Marquez of now? Prime Marquez would've taken Lopez apart and knocked him out, Marquez now might have slipped enough for Lopez to win but I'd still pick Marquez to win.
which is why he needed to use steroids?:slap:
Steroids do not improve your understanding of the sport, you can take all the steroids in the world and get beat up in a boxing ring.
I think Toney actually knows the most out of the three but he has discipline problems and might not be the best out of the three at making adjustments on the fly but the stuff he knows about boxing is second to none.
Im just saying that shows u how smart he is....he had to take steroids...even with all his skills and his smarts he felt the need to cheat to compete...thats not having a high IQ IMO
Just because he made wrong decisions outside of the ring doesn't mean it takes away from his knowledge inside the ring.
I was telling this to a friend of mine before the fight that was supporting Cotto, Cotto is one dimensional in his body attack, he knows only 1 way of going to the body and if that way is taken away from him he doesn't know how to get back to the body. The hooks is just what he does, he doesn't throw straights to the body.
Martinez would give Trinidad all he could handle, he has good movement and a good jab but he seems to slow down a little after 4 rounds against pressure fighters like he did against Williams and Margarito. Slowing down against Trinidad wouldn't be good and the way he hold his hands low wouldn't be good against Trinidad either. I think Trinidad would probably slowly break him down en route to a late round stoppage. It would be a close fight on the cards to up that point though because Martinez would probably have a lead halfway through the fight before Trinidad gets going and finds his distance.
Not if he's using some designer steroids that many cheaters do then he's not going to get caught. In boxing they don't even test for everything like they do in cycling Track and Field..etc.
Olympic style drug testing is stricter than the normal stuff from the NSAC, Pacquiao didn't have to accept this but he did. It's smart of Mayweather to want this testing policy but I think this shows that Pacquiao really doesn't take steroids.
And if they really follow Olympic style drug testing then Pacquiao wouldn't really have that much time to cover up his steroid use because testing times are random in the Olympics. The 'knock and pee' policy.
A track star or a swimmer get tested maybe 20-25 times every year. With a lot of random tests. As long as there's no random testing it will be very easy to cheat in boxing.
Well that's why I think Mayweather is asking for Olympic style testing, so that it will be at random times.
But Floyd knows that's not going to happen. There's no way boxing is going to change the way they handle drug testing just for this fight.
I think what he means by Olympic style drug testing is to have an independent company do the drug testing at random intervals, not the NSAC. I'm thinking this means Olympic style drug testing plus the normal tests conducted by the NSAC or whatever state's commission depending on where the fight is.
A loss to someone lower than Green.....
Let's hope that doesn't happen.
I think Roy will probably fight again, as scott said on a minor ppv in penascola vs a nobody. That would be a good way to go out at this point.
It would be terrible if he kept fighting longer than that, he'd end up getting stopped again.
Maybe, just to satisfy his pride and ego.
