Just noticed it. You see it after when Cotto pushed him away after landing a uppercut and a couple of other shots and Pac played it off real well HBO didn't even pick up on it. But if you watch closely he was in lala land from about 30 seconds left in the round to the last 10.
i dont even think he was buzzed.
Idk what ur seeing, but his legs were fine and he was throwing... absolutely zero chance he was hurt IMO
I agree, it wasn't even a solid uppercut, it was more of a pushing punch.
I just realized it tonight though. You could see a bit of Muhammad Ali in Pacquiao the way he psyched Cotto out into faking that he was fine. Of course great fighters can get through those moments in ways lesser men can't.
He was a little hurt, but I think Cotto hurt him more at different times in the fight. Not sure what round it was, but I remember a really flush left hook landed Pac, only for him to comeback with a quick combo. That punch gave me faith that Pac can handle Welterweight power.
Of course Cotto hurt Pacquiao, Cotto is a very strong boxer! But did it harm or put the fight on the line?
I don't think so.
Pacquiao some punishments too but it was mainly Pacquiao dishing the punishments throughout the whole fight.
Cotto hit Pac with some really good shots and snapped his head back on more than a few occasions but Pac just walked through his stuff.
I've said it before, Pac's speed didn't really impress me to much. His stamina, work rate, durability, chin and power is what had me saying wow, guys a beast.
From about 1:20 in the Youtube video on. He handles it extremely well though
COULD be some truth to that..he did throw a little less after he took that shot, Good eye...
i agree, jack.
the main reason is pac was telegraphing cotto's punches. although cotto is a more powerful puncher than jmm, pac saw most of his shots coming.
however, i do agree too that jmm is gonna get murderized if pac-jmm3 happens in the 140+ weight limit.
just saying. :D
Thats what everyone thinks. No doubt Pac is more built to move up in weight but by far the biggest difference in there success was that JMM fought Floyd and Pac didnt. JMM wouldnt have looked that bad against Hatton or Cotto and Pac wouldnt have looked as great as he's been llooking if he had fought Floyd
i dont even think he was buzzed.

Being honest, I couldn't see what he was referring to either.
Marquez hurt him way worse than Cotto did.
Marquez>>>>Cotto.
All day bitches.
if thats the case...Pac beat down Hatton and DLH worse than Floyd...so PACQUIAO >>>> mayweather
All Day Bitches is right
Marquez hurt him way worse than Cotto did.
Marquez>>>>Cotto.
All day bitches.
I'll give him that. It's the least you can give him considering he's suffered 4 KDs against Manny. But that's that.
Anyway, at the end of the 5th, with like 5 seconds left, Manny lands a brutal straight left that Cotto partially blocked. It sounded like a hammer hitting bone. It looked like Cotto was stunned partially and Manny noticed this and tried to jump on him, but not enough time. Cotto retreated with his hands down which he seems to do whenever he's hurt.
He wasn't hurt at all, a little buzzed but he ate that shit.
yea i cant even front he took that shit str8t up....and was smart notice he held a lil to clear his head
Hell no he wasn't buzed, wtf you seeing? There's not one sign that shows him being cautious or dazed. He's off balance at one point but constantly going forward throwing. I mean, he did say it's all about playing games, acting like your not hurt and I agree with him on those body shots because some were brutal to watch. But that part, clearly not.
Yeah, I just saw it on my dvr (still have it recorded) and he was indeed stunned from the uppercut. The HBO folks did comment on it as well. If anything, it made Pacquiao more cautious from that moment on to the very end of the round where he opened up again.
i dont even think he was buzzed.

Manny was dzed by the left hook even more than the uppercut. You could see him he was very cautious for some time trying to regain his head.
