I dont know how anyone in this thread can defend this. It is hands down, the worst excuse in history. I cant even believe that he said something as ridiculous as this.
Okay, maybe RUIN was a bad word to use but my thought behind using it was that since Lopez already got the W on Loma, a loss to Loma would set them further back behind Lopez. I don't think the guys are that far apart from Lopez. Lopez just had the opportunity to get with Loma and get the W before them. Loma is still a tough fight for anyone regardless.
Yeah i definitely agree with you here. Its a great division and hopefully we get to see the fights the fans want. In my opinion i think loma beats everyone else in the division. I think lopez has too much power for loma though. I want to see tank/loma to see if tank is for real. I dont think tank has ever had a real test.
Easy for him to say. Anyone that fights Loma would have a tough fight. It's best for all these young guns to avoid him if they don't want to ruin their careers early. Loma was coming off a long lay off prior to the Lopez fight as well which whether talked about or not, is something. At this point, if he gets back to being active, he'll give any 130-135lber a hell of a fight.

I get that a loss nowadays is terrible, but we seriously need to get over that mindset if we ever want to see the best fight the best. We will just continue to see garbage like this.
Why don't people just enjoy a good fight instead of constantly having to **** on the fighters? I never will understand boxing fans and their constant hate for certain fighters.
Vasily Bumchenko had a close fight with this two time WBC loser Luke Campbell. Luke, like Bumchenko gets all the breaks

Seriously, i don't even understand why i come to these forums sometimes. It's like 90% of boxing fans are 12 year old girls. What are peoples obsession with calling fighters names like bumchenko? What is the deal with people hating fighters so much that it makes them act like children? Why can't people just appreciate fighters and the sport itself? These people are not true fans. Do people understand how pathetic they sound calling fighters names?

I agree, but it would be a great fight. I don't think either are elite. 50/50 fight imo, they're both the same level in my eyes. Both are good but neither are elite.
Wow Stevenson might be the most boring fighter on earth to watch. What an embarrassing performance by Stevenson. Should have got this African out of there in one or two rounds.
Chocolatito is so fun to watch. He should probably not even be fighting at super flyweight and he still is an elite fighter up against naturally bigger guys.
Used to support Wilder thinking it would bring us closer to big fights... but it's pretty apparent now that we need upsets to make the division.

My thoughts exactly. This one isn't even worth watching, idk how anyone is excited for a fight we already know the outcome of. Ortiz is older, fatter, and slower. Worthless fight, at this point idk how anyone can support this guy.
