Haney said the debate of who the best fighter at 135 is narrowed down to only Haney, Teofimo, Tank, and Ryan Garcia.
Kellerman: "It's unclear who the best Lightweight in the world is, all 5 of you guys need to fight and sort that out-"
Haney: "All 4 of us. All 4 of us. Loma lost, Loma's out of it. It's all 4 of us...You can't be the best Lightweight in the world and you just lost, there's no way."
Haney, Teofimo, Ryan Garcia, and Tank have all been talking trash to each other since Loma lost. But it seems like Haney is looking at Loma as a high risk fight now. If Haney can't get Teo, Tank, or Garcia next, then how can he call his next opponent as more deserving than Loma.
Haney can fight Gamboa after he got stopped by Tank, but Haney can't fight Loma after he lost a decision to Teo?
BS! People want to eliminate Loma completely because he lost to Teofimo
WEAK! Boxers and Boxing Fans of this ERA all want Easy Routes to greatness if possible
Loma still dangerous, still a Top P4P Figghter, still skilled enough to beat them all at 135 with a few adjustments.
Lomachenko need to go back down to 130 , But DAZN will put up the money for the return of Lomachenko to DAZN (both Loma and Crawford going to DAZN anyway when the TR contracts end)
"Requested the Franchise belt..." - another lie coming from you. He did not request zilch, it was purely on WBC.

Who's lying now? The only one lying is you when you claimed Lomachenko didn't give up his WBC belt. Ot maybe you're just too stupid to understand that's exactly what he did.
“Lomachenko is the WBC lightweight champion,” confirmed Sulaiman. “He won and petitioned for the Franchise designation. The Franchise is put above any champion in the lightweight category. So, Lomachenko is in fact champion with special attributes.
“We DO NOT ask fighters to become Franchise.
So there it is. The WBC doesn’t give the Franchise tag to special fighters without them or their promoters asking for them to be considered for it. Someone asked for it from Lomachenko’s team for him to be given the Franchise tag.
He and the rest of the LW elite will dismiss and avoid Lomachenko now that he is beltless.
Sure, also we need to if Loma’s still going to fight at 135.
I disagree because the only lightweight to beat Loma is Teo. If Haney beats Loma then that puts him right behind Teo. If I were Haney I would be camping outside Loma’s house trying to make that fight.
He and the rest of the LW elite will dismiss and avoid Lomachenko now that he is beltless.
If you need a "credible link" to know that Lomachenko gave up his WBC belt and requested the Franchise belt to avoid his mandatory(Haney) then you're a clueless moron. Look it up yourself you idiotic casual fan.

That doesn't even make any sense. It was a mandatory. If he didn't want to fight his mandatories then he never should have fought for the WBC title.
How was Haney going to earn it by beating the guy with the belt when that boxer wouldn't fight him?
How does that not make sense? Haney hadn't fought anyone and was an up and coming fighter, Lopez is an established fighter and champion, of course you take that fight over Haney. Haney didn't even fight another guy for a vacant title, it was just handed to him. I like Haney, but what real fighter wants a title just handed to them? I've been in sports almost my entire life, I've never had a trophy or championship just handed to me, nor would I want it. You have to beat someone for it.

Okay, maybe RUIN was a bad word to use but my thought behind using it was that since Lopez already got the W on Loma, a loss to Loma would set them further back behind Lopez. I don't think the guys are that far apart from Lopez. Lopez just had the opportunity to get with Loma and get the W before them. Loma is still a tough fight for anyone regardless.
Yeah i definitely agree with you here. Its a great division and hopefully we get to see the fights the fans want. In my opinion i think loma beats everyone else in the division. I think lopez has too much power for loma though. I want to see tank/loma to see if tank is for real. I dont think tank has ever had a real test.
That attitude is why boxing is trash, 1 loss and you are done.
Two losses. Salidoe happened. Remember?
But Loma isn't done, now that's he been taken down a peg he has to earn his opportunities just like nearly every other fighter.
I guess the lesson is you shouldn't be such an arrogant prick when you've accomplished so little.
I'm a bit of a Haney fan but the more he speaks the more BS he rolls out. Loma lost to 1 of the 4, Haney hasn't faced Loma or any of the other 3 let alone beat any of them.
I defend him and his gifted WBC belt but he is talking pure bollocks here. Loma very narrowly lost to the man seen as the man in the division now, Haney hasn't done much, Garcia hasn't done much and neither has Tank. Loma done more than all of them.
I don't know if it is spite talking for when he wanted to fight Loma for that belt rather than be handed it but this just sounds like more nonsense.
And that's not even to mention Loma would by some distance be the best name on Haney's resume at this point.
He left it to fight more established fighters. It's Haney's fault for taking a gift belt. Where is the glory in taking a belt you beat nobody for?

The media's making it out like the guy forgot how to fight after losing a relatively close decision lol... It's not like Teofimo did him like Beterbiev did Gvozdyk.
How Lomachenko mentally rebounds from this will be what defines his legacy, not that loss. If he can figure out how to look good while boxing a power puncher, he could theroetically beat anybody at 135 or 130. All the IG kvetching and lack of a comeback fight on the horizon are not promising signs, though.
Just wondering how a loss to a guy who is considered as a great would ruin someone's career?
I get that a loss nowadays is terrible, but we seriously need to get over that mindset if we ever want to see the best fight the best. We will just continue to see garbage like this.
