what are you confused about? You have a problem then you let your opinions be heard. Why would floyd let himself get a battering through the media if his reason was a justifiable one like the contract. Only reason i can see for his silence is that he doesn't want the fight, and he hasn't come up with an excuse yet.And pac only gave one reason which is backed by video proof.
Why should Mayweather talk? To appease you? You're not even a fan. Why do you want him to talk when you probably don't even want to hear what he has to say?
It's funny, the people who are desperate for him to speak don't care for what he will say. Why would he let himself get a battering by the media? What else is new?
What I want to know is, when him and Pac were negotiating the first time and Pac turned down what he is now willing to sign for, where were these same critics? TR propaganda is not fooling anyone but sheep.
Who cares? It's like some of you are on a mission to get people to hate certain fighters just because you do. Not everyone has that sheep mentality.
So what if the crowd boo'd a fighter? Then what? Why does that affect you? Too much energy invested in BS.
All pactards and flomos welcome to participate to the fullest!. Bring your knee pads and spermicidal lube.
This is just getting funnier and funnier!
So a few Dr.'s come out and say it MAY not that it is or will absolutely be but MAY and COULD be harmful to take a test 13 days before a fight and all teh Pactards come out to defend their God Manny Ped-iauo because now all of a sudden blood tests are for sure harmful and Floyd just wants to injure Manny even though Floyd is going to take the same tests either a day before or after (given the schedule they displayed for the Mosley fight)
LMAO!
haahhaah
still laughing
Now on the other hand Floyd never asked for testing before he proposed fight with Ped-iauo and now all of a sudden wants to clean the sport?
His Uncle says that Floyd kicks his ass? Well step up Floydie and kick his ass.
Its gone on too long. Floyd just say FUK it and no tests you get 55-44 of the purse and go kick his ass!
So I ask you here on NSB
TAKING BLOOD TESTS
ARE THEY HARMFUL OR DO THEY CLEAN THE SPORT
YOU DECIDE!!!!
poll to follow
:omfg::dunce::wtf:
Now be honest: During the Khan-Barrera fight did you hear any racist comments made? I mean be honest and dont lie. I was there, I heard them.
Racism in the UK is a massive problem to deny it is to be either naive or duplicitous. The UK is atleast a couple of generations behind the US in race-relations and tolerance.
Do you posess a passport? If you do... use it. ASAP.
Thank you I have proven my point and you have admited that there is a massive racism problem in the UK.
Have a nice life.
A few people in a venue that can't house even a 25th of the population equates to a massive racism problem in the UK?
Stop the madness.
I live in the UK, But let me tell you something there is no such thing as "British" you are either English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh or a derogatory slur for any other ethnic group. The UK has failed to created a national identity, In the US you have Italian-Americans, Jewish-Americans, Latino-Americans, Japanese-Americans, But your still an American!
The reason America is so sucessful as a nation state is because it has evolved to create a national identity that accepts all creeds, colors and cultures, religions, The UK today is where the US was during Rosa Parks.
I don't know what you're going on about. I know lots of people who support Khan, of all races, despite his sometimes foolish ways.
That's one thing you can't say. When it comes to sport, they love their own. No matter what race. They even become xenophobic when it comes to their athletes. Just watch Sky Sports News. You will see it.
Why does there need to be a cut off at all? Does anyone even know why Pacquiao wants a cut off?
Im still confused about that. What is Pacquiao's reasoning for a cut off date?
I agree with most of what you said. However, I do see two sides to Floyd's personality. Of course there is the cocky Floyd, but I've seen few interviews where he speaks a lot of sense. Especially the Sky Sports interviews.
Another mistake I think some people make is assuming that someone is all bad or all good. Everyone has a dark side and a nice side. At the end of the day, when these people go home and close the doors.. who knows what's really going on?
I think some are overlooking why Mosley was gassed by the fourth round. I believe Mosley went into the fight with his mentality pitted towards knocking Mayweather out. I think he focused so much energy on this in the earlier rounds, and by the time he found out it wasn't going to be as easy as he thought, he had used up quite a bit of energy.
Also, it seemed as though he hadn't prepared for Mayweather coming at him so much, and rather than trying to fight he was trying to think.
That's just my thoughts but I'm no boxing expert.
Reasonable, of course, but was he giving blood before training? If he wasn't, then how could you see if it affected it(training)?
I meant it didn't seem to affect his fight game. And I thought that this happened during training. I'm not sure.
I think another thing not working in Pacquiao's favor is the fact that there doesn't seem to be an adequate reason as to why he doesn't want complete random OST drug testing. I'm just quite shocked by his reaction.
Floyd is doing what he wants to do. I can't say I blame him because most people hate him anyway. He won't change public opinion, and he knows that.
It's gotten to the point where people will believe anything Arum says because it fits their agenda. Floyd's team isn't very credible right now, and after reading the things Pac's team has been saying neither are they.
Arum has his own agenda. He is supposed to be a business man and he's been in the business long enough to know that running his mouth to the media is not how to get a fight. Arum got whatever he wanted out of this situation for now. Meanwhile Floyd will continue to do him because he was hated anyway, nothing has changed there.
Arum thinks he played this one beautifully. I think he tried to put Floyd in a position where he has to defend himself, and Pac can go on and fight Cotto or Marg. Then TR can say "Floyd wasn't ready so we took the next best option", when really Arum wanted it this way all along. More money for him, and once again Floyd is the fall guy.
That's just my opinion, but ehh.. what do I know?
Thing is that different people react to things differently sometimes. So yeah, it wouldn't be fair to Manny, if he indeed does have a mental issue with giving blood. Not like this is unheard of...
That is all well and dandy. However, I remember watching 24 7 and saw him in a doctors office. I think he was giving blood then. Didn't seem like it hurt him at all. Mentally or physically.
Perhaps it is the possible results affects him. As an athlete, it should be understood that blood tests and all things alike come with the territory.
When I envisioned this fight being made I never thought something as trivial as a blood test would hamper it. Nor did I think that the person hampering it would be Manny Pacquiao.
if floyd has tried so hard to fight pac , he would've fought him under commision rules already just like the rest of the boxers.... no need for him to demand specail rules if he really wants to fight pac.........simple as that really!
So Manny can change commission rules and Floyd can't? I mean.. come on.
You are being unreasonable. Manny Pacquiao has his demands. As Floyd has his. Anyone who thinks that Floyd should just agree to everything Manny wants and not ask for a single thing in return is naive.
Stop acting like blood tests are the only thing the commission has rules on. You know better.
this is exactly what happened, more or less... any hardcore dick riding flomo want to respond to this... be reasonable though, lol
Call me what you want but..
In my opinion that is not how it went. It wasn't that simple.
Pacquiao took his time in accepting Mayweather's terms. He danced around, accepted another fight. He made all his demands which were accepted by Mayweather, and refused to agree to the one thing Floyd asked. Which we now know wasn't unreasonable like Pacquiao made it seem.
Anyhow, Mayweather fights Mosley, Pacquiao realises he is not in a position of power like he thought. He starts agreeing to terms that are no longer being offered (rightly so by Mayweather, since he tried so hard to get the fight made the first time and Pacquiao said no to terms that he is now obviously willing to agree to. Shoulda said yes the time it was asked if he wanted the fight that bad). Now Mayweather is just doing what Pacquiao did first.
He is taking his sweet time and exercising his power to demand whatever he pleases. Like Manny Pacquiao did the first negotiations.
All that has happened is that they have switched positions. But.. Pacquiao fans don't seems to like it when it is done to their fighter. If Pacquiao can play the ass, why can't Floyd?
Who knew so much drama could ensue when an athlete is asked to take a blood test? A supposedly clean one at that.
I thought blood tests were the norm for athletes.
Demanding a blood test by a fighter? In boxing? Yes, that's pretty weird/uncommon to my knowledge.
If no strange/ones that would hurt Floyd demands were made by Manny, where is the problem?
You really don't see the difference?
How do you know they won't hurt Floyd? Is it because he never complained about it? Perhaps he's just sucking it up in order to get the fight made?
How do you know it's really hurting Pacquiao? From things I've seen so far, Manny Pacquiao has a million different excuses as to why he won't take a blood test. How can you be certain any of them are true? How do you even know what to believe? You don't even know why Pacquiao won't take the tests.
Atleast we know why Floyd is asking. He has suspicions. I like both fighters and I want to see this fight made more than anything. I'm just finding it hard to understand why Pacquiao won't agree to it.
That is all.
And all this talk of who needs who more needs to cease. Manny is the only person who can decide if he needs Floyd and vice versa. That is up to the individual.
Now of Cotto. I do not care of that fight.
how are were they pacs demands when all those things were a given? stop making stuff up like the other flomos. Pac has called floyd publicly out that he was willing to do the 14 days that floyd insisted on and now floyds looking for another obstacle, how hard is that to figure out.
Wtf do you mean they were a given?
Floyd publicly called Pac out on the 14 days too. Right after negotiations.
Or did you forget that? Pac had nothing to say, but it was all good then right? Because it was Pac keeping quiet.
Couldn't hear a peep nor a squeek outta Pac. Were you complaining then?
There is something not right about this situation. Why is Arum trying so hard to sway public opinion?
Until there is a press conference or something, I refuse to believe the hype.
