as i stated most mfers can't even be bothered to give enough of a f#ck to comment on most of these dumb posts by a small minority of guys. And for the most part there are always a nice lil segment of 5-10 guys who'll make the same thread over & over & all us who know the routine just ignore them while the noobs & guys who just like to cherry pick arguments with dumb mfers will engage them & keep these dumb ass threads high on the page.
This right here^
This is a title fight though.
Its for the WBC flyweight world title.
Just cause their abit unknown to this forum and the mainstream. It shouldnt de-value what it is.
I understand that it's not fair, but boxing is the most unfair sport around, lol. I just think it's hard to keep track of all ≈ 68 titles (old and new champs). But whatever it is, I'll roll with the punches.
It's too much to include every single title fight. It's like doing a soccer pick em' with all international soccer teams instead of just choosing specific leagues like La Liga or the EPL. I think we're better suited to fights that would interest the majority of the players which is mostly title fights and fights with contenders and important step up fights.
Totally forgot that Ali is really a welterweight and his low and loose guard could be exploited by tall fighters. Although, Munguia looked slow in previous fights, but looked a lot faster tonight.
Should've included this Sharmba Mitchell punch that Floyd threw when he turned southpaw.
That moment when you realize Floyd is a better #southpaw than you. #maypac A post shared by Olu Awani (@the_oluminati) on Apr 30, 2015 at 3:12pm PDT
Who tf pays for a Floyd fight by themselves? Really? I've never paid for a Mayweather fight by myself. Usually only costs me $15 plus a great time with friends and drinks. If you can't go to a fight party then why would you buy this fight by yourself (unless you got it like)? Just wait for the highlights the next day.
To me, a knockdown is rewarded by the point reduction. If the knocked down fighter wins the round minus the knockdown decisively, then it's 9-9. It doesn't happen often, but it at least guarantees a minimum of a tie if all else remain equal.
Thurman by decision. Vargas is a composed boxer and Thurman is not an aggressive fighter anymore.
Garcia to stop Rios late especially if he goes to the body early.
Spence by decision maybe late stoppage. Peterson is a solid verteran boxer and hard to break down which is the usual way Spence goes about his business.
Crawford to stop Horn in the first half of the fight. Any fighter with a solid jab and an accurate 1-2 could handle Horn.
You steal my picks?
I'm sure I'm stealing someone's pick every week. I usually make my picks late.
I'm nervous about Valdez close because he's had some very favorable scorecards recently.
exactly, brook & khan could of fought each other for a similar payday / a load of other options
Rigo is 37 years old, at the very end of his career and is cashing out.
Cashing out is ppv money and getting ko/tko in 5 and 6 rounds. Rigo is not likely getting cash out money and many people think he can actually last 12 rounds. I think he's just thirsty for a good and meaningful scrap! His reward would come after a possible win.
Are there any actual non-biased Youtube boxing channels? I used to watch Dontae a couple years back, Thaboxing voice and I only recently (as in this year) stopped watching EGO. Be cool if people who loved the sport had a channel
Same thing here. All of ego's vids sound the same. If I know what your going to say before I watch your video then you're likely biased and not worth me wasting 5-15 min.
Listen to Boxing Gossip out of the UK. He mostly stays away from these BS topics and focuses on matchups and breakdown, which he is imo very good at. However, when he does his podcasts, the other guys are sometimes unbearable.
No cashing out is taking the fight that pays you the most, the amount of money the lighter guys get is not comparable to the higher weights
This is the biggest amount of money rigo could get, there were no other options.
Also the bookies have Rigo getting knocked out as the betting favorite.
I still disagree with your view on what is cashing out, but if Rigo is getting substantially much more than he's ever made then you may be right. Don't forget that although bookies have that as the betting favorite this is still a fight between to two gold medalists and a closer matchup than ggg/brook and canelo/khan
