Josh Taylor vs Victor Postol
Miguel Berchelt vs Jonathon Victor Barros
BETTING ODDS:
Taylor: 1/9 Postol: 6/1 (1.5x multiplier on Postol)
Berchelt: 1/50 Barros: 12/1 (3x multiplier on Barros)
Ways fighters can win:
Decision: WIDE or CLOSE
KO: EARLY (1-4), MID (5-8) or LATE (9-12)
Examples of the ways you can state your decision:
PICK EM CREW, Taylor, Decision, Close
PICK EM CREW, Barros, KO, EARLY, x2
If no multiplier is specified in your pick (ie x2, x3) then it will be assumed that no multiplier is being used (x1)
If you wish to pick a Draw result, simply state your Username, both fighter names and DRAW, ie:
PICK EM CREW, Taylor, Postol, DRAW
NOTES:
-Draws are worth 120pts. A perfect pick without a multiplier is 30pts.
-CLOSE is <12 pts difference, or anything closer than 116-112 on all three scorecards. WIDE is >=12 pts difference, or anything equivalent to 116-112 on all three cards or wider.
-If you'd like to change your pick before the fight starts, post in this thread to do so. Ideally tag me so that I don't miss it.
-2X doubles your points and 3X triples your points. Everyone starts with 5 doubles and 3 triples to use throughout the year. If you forget how many you have left, check the leaderboard in the master thread.
Sticky me -MEGA-,
BostonGuy
I was gonna pick Taylor by KO but i've changed my mind, something Postol does makes him difficult to KO as we saw with Crawford who usually looks to finish the job but he didn't want to risk it. If Taylor finishes Postol off i'd be really impressed yet again.
Caught Square,
Taylor wide decision
Berchelt mid KO 2X
Good call, man.:boxing:
You're doing damn well, man. You've managed to shoulder yourself into the top ten with fewer picks than anyone else and pulled off some great picks over the last few weeks... sad truth is though getting to the top in this game is at least as much about consistency as it is about knowledge and judgement. Rest assured though that I pretty much guarantee everyone else in the title race is gonna miss a week or two before the end of the year... you might drop a few places this week but you'll still be well in contention. :beerchug:
That makes me feel better! I'm slowly backing away from the ledge.
LMAO!! I guess you're right :(

Since everyone agrees that the Taylor/postol fight was a lot closer than the cards indicated, we are going to score it as a close decision, right?
You got a better chance of seeing God
Lol
Damn just realized this was on and that I missed the bell by a few. Hate when sites don’t post when fights are gonna be in US time, always throws my dumbazz for a loop
Ha ha. You US dudes are spoiled, man.. imagine what it's like having to wait up til 4 or 5 in the a.m to get the big fights live. I did actually put out a reminder thread a short while before the fight, but I might start including the time zone / location in the thread title or first post too. I did it with the recent Tokyo card cos I knew that one would catch everyone of guard, but I don't usually bother.
