The hate is based mostly from the fans without a doubt. A lot of diehard fans and followers say really dumb shit inrelation to their favorite fighter to defend them and whatnot. You sometimes have to just let the things they say go right over your head and not take them seriously because a lot can just be stupid shit that makes you question the person's intellect. I'm a Manny fan though I feel I remain unbiased in most of my posts related to him. Though that's mainly because I'm not Filipino so I don't worship him as a God. I'm Puerto Rican and I love Cotto's style of all out brawl and action for the most part though I don't hug his nuts as a lot of the other PRs on this forum do. It's just a fan thing is the bottom line in the end.
