Sanctioning Vitali Klitschko vs Corrie Sanders for their title at Heavyweight?
I have no problem with Vitali keeping the WBC title, and fighting whoever he wants. If Rahman isn't available until later in the fall, so be it. Let him fight Maskiev, Brock or whoever.
But strip the man of the Ring Belt.
The biggest blow to the Ring belt's credibility was sanctioning Vitali vs Sanders for their belt, which in reccent years was gaining more and more credibility. Since then, he's fought only once in a year and two months, and it was agaisnt Danny Williams.
I would have less of a problem with him fighting scrubs, and taking his time deciding what he wants to do if he just was a WBC title holder.
But this whole Ring Belt, in conjunction with HBO, calling and touting Vitali Klitschko as "THE" Heavyweight champion is bull shit.
Everyone is at square one at Heavyweight. All of them. None of them are particularly impressive, they've all fought soft opposition to a certian extent, and they're all too inactive.
Vitali Klitschko NEVER should have been declaired the "Ring" Champion, and this is evident in the hard facts about who he's fought since, and what he's doing now.
The "Ring" title should be held vacent until someone unifies the "WBC" WBA" and "IBF" titles. THAT'S where the liniage should continue.
Nor should have Roy Jones Jr. Nobody is perfect.
Can anybody tell me which one of those fighters is elite ??
I thought you had to beat a elite fighter or at least some good competition , to recieve the title elite fighter ? YOu have named about all of the elite bums of the Heavyweight division.
I guess you really are stupid . Beating Fracois Botha makes you elite ?? What about eating left hands and getting KTFO in 4 rounds by a golfer who is ranked 500 in the word Golfing circuit ? Run With Knives = WLad Nut Sucker
See the post above your's.
... please watch the Samuel Peter vs. Jeremy Williams fight!
Yes, Williams does probably not have a great chin, and he is only about 6'1''. But - on the other hand - do you expect Wladimir Klitschko to be able to take a punch like that without going down hard?
Maybe Klitschko will outbox Peter, maybe he will humiliate him. We will see! But I doubt you should see knocking Peter out as an easy thing to do for Wladimir.
Just my thoughts ...
Or you could compare Wlad and Peter against Shufford...
Everybody is guilty of some sort of nuthugging on here.
Wlad nuthuggers are guilty for one of three reasons...
-He's Euroasian. It seems like all the Europeans back the Klitchkos.
-He's big.
-He's white.
Or maybe he's the best offensive heavyweight for his size out there right now.
After watching Tszyu and Tito both came back from 2 year layoffs with excelent results, I believe that Lewis can do the same. If they fight each other, I think Lewis will be better then he was in there first fight.
I guess you missed the memo, Tszyu is 35 and Tito is 32. Lewis is 39.
Tua has not been out that long to be fighting as big of a bum as Griffis. At least fight someone in the top 50. Or maybe even the top 100. This is just sad.
Atleast until he gets a fight on HBO or Showtime so blind fans like you will finally get a chance to see how good some fighters really are.I bet you're one of them fans that go to BoxRec and look at a fighters record and automaticly assume that a fighter sucks just because he wins a few Majority decisions and loses to another unknown fighter.
Many doubted Glen Johnsons chance against both RJ and Tarver, because he had 9losses,but he ended up winng both.Just shows you that a Pro fighters record isn't the whole story.
I have no problem with his early loss and his only MD was his first fight, so I don't know where you are coming from. The fact of the matter is that he's fought no one and he has no power. He needs to actually beat a top 30 fighter before you should start showering him with your praise. Johnson has nothing to do with this, and it just shows how shot RJJ is and how overrated Tarver is.
Vitali should quit ducking Byrd. If he's fighting Rahman, how is that any different than fighting Byrd? They're both King fighters. Klitschko fears Byrd.
Rahman doesn't have a belt, Byrd does. Its not that difficult.
Depending on how easily Toney beats Ruiz, I will let you know how easily he will beat Vitali
The saddest thing about this is that you are being serious.
no i am serious and im not a retard. Whats with everone thinking Vitali is some god he punches hard yes, and is smart but he is slow and cuts easily. Toney put a hurting on old man Holyfield yes he has 10 times past his prime but he got hit with some big shots and nothing happened watch the fight. Anyway i cant wait for Toney to fight Vitali if and when it happens cause he is a robot and i would love to see a trash talker like Toney as the champ.
This just in, Vitali hits a lot harder than Holyfield.
I'm surprised you admit that. Change of heart?
No its just a lot of people apparently yourself included think that just because I think Vitali is the best current heavyweight, that I think that he is a top 5 all time great.
And I still owe Nautilus and Neuraxis 1,000,000 each if Vitali legitimately KOs Rahman...
Which should be a pretty safe bet as Vitali has had 2 legitimate KOs in his past 20 fights.
Oh, and then all the Pro-Rahman people should post all the pictures of Klitscko laying on the canvas....
Oh wait, there are no pictures. The haters are going to have to get up pretty early in the morning to find those amature kickboxing pictures. They are going to put "Amature" into google and then get distracted by amature porn.
I think this is about as close as it gets.

of course he is serious, James Toney is a hall of famer, who the fuck is Vitali Klitscko? you are drunk with bias man, on every dam thread too, its actually physically sickening to hear you kiss this mans ass time and time again. what has he done? he had a chance to kayo lewis and he couldnt do it, the man was 38 and ripe for the picking, face it he is nobody
James Toney is not a heavyweight. Wake up man.
Sorry, didn't see that one. I also think that Wlad should have given Williamson a rematch, not because it would be a great fight, but because it seems cowardly not to.
Belfort hit Couture with a glancing blow near his eye which opened up a nasty cut just like Lewis did to Vitali, and Belfort gave Couture a rematch in which Couture beat him.
No way my friend. If this fight goes to the scorecard's, I guarantee you that they will give the decision to Rahman because Don King is involved. Vitali will probably win the fight 8 rounds to 4 but as soon as it goes into King's judges scorecard's Vitali will get FUCKED!!!
Which is exactly why I don't know why he is fighting a King fighter and not Toney or Barrett.
