Why do people Nut hug Wlad ?

Its would be hard to distinguish where he is "roots" are since he was born in Kazakstan. His dad was a soviet army general. He has a Ukranian last name. His first language is Russian. He officially hails from Kiev. Obviously the Klistchko's are nationalisticly Ukranian though since they are always sticking up for the anti RUssian parties of Ukraine. They were born there, just like someone can be born on a plane while crossing the Pacific ;) Im Ukrainian and I know who and what his parents did. The fact that his first language is Russian means nothing, so is my'n but I have no ties to Russia at all. Thats what you get when your language is suppressed but a century, plus his fathre was in the military were everything is in Russian, so its expected even today since most officers are still from the Soviet era that a lot of military families speak Russian to this day.

-He's Euroasian. It seems like all the Europeans back the Klitchkos. -He's big. -He's white. Doesnt mean jack shit, because those can be used as reasons for him being hated by so many of on this forum ;) And he's not Eurasian, he's to big to have any asian blood and just doesnt have any sigs of it, the guy is Ukrainian, with roots in Western Ukraine because thats were the big Ukrainian come from. Plus whats all this stamina bullshit? The man went 12 round before, he went 6 rounds before, he went for 8 rounds before. Either way whether WLad was knocked out or whether he passed out from holding his breath like women do when they cannot win an argument he lost, and his lack of stamina and his lack of a chin were discovered. Many of us do not idolize anyone and we simply try to deflate these over-inflated-over-hyped up fighters like the Klitchkos. well the argument could be made that Tyson has been knocked down once and got up but guess what? In ever fight where tyson went out or got knocked out he was getting the hell beat out of him for several rounds until he finally sucumbed to an ass beating (Of course the older Tyson who fought Danny williams didnt do this) but remember how many shots douglas caught him with? or how many holyfield caught him with? What about Lewis? Tyson after round one was basically his punching bag and he wasnt even hitting lewis. he definitely could take punches man. Sanders two or three round destruction of WLadimir would prove that he cannot take too much. Secondly Wlad was beaten by an old golfer who had not fought in a long time. When faced with adversity the-so-called and HBO-proclaimed unstoppable machine and peoples champion could not even find it in himself to adjust and get himself out of trouble. Why would anyone worship him at all??? Against Brewster he did pass out from exhaustion but who's fault was that? Brewster surely didn't tell him to punch himself out and lose his breath. (His poor ring generalship and his poor defense, not to mention a definitely questionable chin, caused the knockout. and his poor ring generalship caused the second exhaustion passout. Anyone who has a brain can figure out damn if I am tired I have to slow down. As for Calzaghe calling out Roy. It isnt that we bash European fighters this is the point that many of us are making. Cal who? is what Roy Jones was thinking. Here is a guy who can hardly even get a tv date and he wants me to fight him in his country?? whatever they have over there must be a lot more powerful than the drugs we have here. Why would a guy who is on top of the world go and fight someone who can barely even get a fight on ESPN? Roy had everything to lose and nothing to gain. Calzaghe wants to stay in Europe and stay under hte protective wing of his mother hen but it doesnt work that way. IF the president of the U.S. says he wants to have a meeting with you, would you tell him that he has to come to your house and do it in your basement or would you get out of your seat and fly to the white house? actually that anology might not have been good lol. I Understand why people would Nut Hug Vitali because as much as i dont like him he wins . Wlad on the other hand Has gotten served in 2 of his last 3 fights yet people still talk about how he will knock everybody out and how good he is . Why do these people give Wlad visions of Grandeur? He's my favorite boxer, not because he's white, but because of his incredible offensive ability. I'm not a nut-hugger either, he needs to prove himself or sit the fuck down. We'll see what happens when he faces Sam Peter.

I think that is one of the best answers that i have heard . It is very true , the state the Heavyweight Division is in , it is real easy to try to market 2 people like them and make people believe that they are more then they really are . I think Vitali is 1 of the top 3 heavyweights becasue the division is so sorry , but wlad may have to be top 15 .

I never like Wlad as much as Vitali, and everyone was always saying that Wlad was the better fighter. Pfft. But to what you said, I don't just base my favorites on skill, I like some guys because of their heart or their personality outside of the ring. I'd rather watch guys like Micky Ward who aren't afraid to bang it out with someone as opposed to some guys like Chris Byrd. Even if he doesn't have all the skills, at least he fights like a man. Hell, I like Pretty Boy and he's similar to Byrd as far as style goes, but at least he mixes it up once in a while. I remember seeing Byrd get floored by Ibeabuchi and immediately got up and bitched that it wasn't a knockdown. Larry Merchant was all like "Shame on you Chris Byrd, shame on you." :D I CAN respect that . My problem is people who continually swing from the nuts of this guy , like he has really done something worthy of praising him . Truth be told i was pulling for Vitali the night he fought Lennox lewis , i have no problem rooting for someone who deserves it.

You cant continue to argue about how good someone is , when they get knocked out against second tier oppopnents. I think Wlad's confidence is done, and he is about 1 or 2 fights away from his career being ended dam u guys have crazy arguments i understand what u mean about the arguing thing, but i mean so many fighters have lost to crappy guys. i mean toney lost to sum no name shit head, n although he wasn't KO'd he lost. when u lose by KO, the guy landed a good punch. its not like sanders and brewster dont have power, cuz fuck they do. wlads confidence is not great but not bad right now next fight will prove it all
