Jones, Jr. Suffers Hand Injury

Of course Roy was never going into a fight having been KO'd in his last 2 fights, either. Doesn't matter to me. I wasn't planning on paying for this crap anyway.

Actually it could be good if the fight is delayed because I'd like to be able to pay for Corrales-Castillo as well and I'm sure many ppl feel the same way. Roy doesn't have a history of getting out of fights. He doesn't break a contract, never has. So, if he gets out of this fight we should definitely see it as a legit reason, and not an excuse. We'll see what happens. So far he has been indicating that he will fight on. If that tendon is messed up then fuck...he'll be shelved for a while and he probably should just stay retired. If not...train through the pain and shoot it up with cortizone b4 the fight and break Tarver's nuts.

Ya got any excuses tonight Roy?Tarver is great for asking that and doing what he did in that fight.But I hope he is o.k. but would not be real pissed if the fight is merely delayed because as of now Oct.1 is a busy fight night fans wise.

A knot at the top of the knuckle sounds 0- let's hope its not a shot tendon, as that would require surgery and 6months of rehab. wait and see.

hmm I hope the injury is fake and Roy is just messing with Tarver. However, I get the feeling it is real and that this could be a problem. That does not sound good at all. If he really is hurt then they need to postpone it, or Roy needs to take this as a sign and retire for good. But, Roy has been implying that he will fight on and just shoot it up with cortizone.
