This is why boxing cards are dog****. "Wilder on the undercard wtf?"
Look at the UFC. Champions and stars are constantly below the main event. A whole card is so much better than one fight and then a bunch of bums.
He had a good chin. GGG fights the same style over and over. GGG isn't that good. Jacobs got a glass jaw and whipped his a$$ dude. Come on now!
Haha. Jesus, the level of retard in this post is great. GGG has very clearly fought multiple ways:
Brawl and defend with his chin against Brook, Macklin etc.
Calculated offense using the jab as primary form of defence against Lemeuix, Jacobs etc.
Jacobs whipped GGGs ass all the way to a clear decision loss? I'm sorry, but just because the hoodrat community on here blindly say Jacobs won because reasons doesn't mean he came close. Any expert will tell you that wasn't a close fight. It wasn't a demolishment we're used to seeing from GGG because Jacobs is the clear #2 best MW.
It's idiots like you who make this site and this sport an absolute joke in 2017.
You're right. Rogan's a MMA fanboy who doesn't appreciate the skill of boxers. I remember a few years ago him saying that UFC fighters were way more skilled than boxers, even though Brock Lesnar went to the UFC from pro wrestling and won their HW title within his first year in the sport. He gave Conor a good chance to beat Floyd and was saying stuff like he has fought tougher guys etc SMH.
In general I like Rogan and his podcast is good but his boxing knowledge is pretty awful. He shouldn't run his mouth about something he's not educated on at all.
That's absolute bull****. Rogan constantly spurts about how elite boxers hands are. He's not an idiot. He's a boxing fan too. Every podcast with schaub, eddie, callen etc... They end up talking boxing.
Now, he's no boxing expert but he's never said MMA fighters have more skilled hands. I've quite literally heard him say this exact quote. "Of course boxers have better hands, muay thai practitioners have better kicks and knees. Wrestlers have better takedowns and BJJ guys have better submissions but MMA is about putting them all together.
It's so retarded when people on this site say how poorly skilled MMA guys are. No ****. If you are a boxer... You train your hands every day for hours. If you are a mixed martial artist you probably train your hands 1/5th of the time. Not to mention your stance has to take into account defending takedowns, checking kicks. Let's go even further, you can barely block due to the 4oz gloves. You can't really use to much in terms of parrying due to the takedown threat, knees, kicks etc.
Rogan has had to explain this countless times on his podcast. That sounds like someone who knows that an MMA fighter won't ever be as good a boxer as a boxer.
Lol ppl jump on opinion so fast ,i guess Klit was absoulute bum when he couldnt finish Wach.
Its BoxingScene man what do you expect.
BoxingScene
Sherdog
Gamefaqs
All three are made up of 20% intelligent, decent discussion and 80% trolling and minus 70 IQ.
His boxing good ,ppl just cry that he cant KO a guy ,its his first opponent who is 2m+ i think ,good training session
For some reason Wilder and Joshua fans hate Parker. I like all 3.
Does Cojanu think he looks cool? Losing by a mile but taunting like he's RJJ?
Hate these pretend boxers who just cover up and clinch without throwing a thing... Even worse when they taunt.
This fat prick has done more taunts than punches.
Damn, my software and database is not working with me today. Ugh... unfortunately I'm just following the fight by your comments at this point.
I'm reading mixed messages. Some of you are saying Parker looks bad and others are saying he looks good and is boxing well.
Hard for me to get a gage, Lol.
Parker is winning. Very easily but can't hurt him because he's fighting a turtle. Literally fighting a 6'7, fat turtle.
Every champion of all time has had a few of these.
Parker is terrible and will get butchered by joshua, wilder, fury and ortiz....hughie fury , bellew and dillian whyte would beat him as well.......worst heavyweight champion i have seen for quite some time
Love it when people bring up Whyte. He's so ****.
Why is it wrong? Because you say so to suit your argument. How the f*ck can anyone put those 2 bums in their top 10.
1. Fury
2. Joshua
3. Wilder
4. Wlad
5. Povetkin
6. Whyte
7. Pulev
8. Hughie fury
9. Parker
10. Bellew
Whyte has literally beat no one (Chisora won easily.). So that's ****ing idiotic.
Hughie has literally beat no one. So that's also ****ing idiotic.
Bellew has one fight and beat a guy who injured himself. That's also ****ing idiotic.
Mate you're top 10 really is wrong. Anyone with a brain would agree with me.
To the dickheads saying Wilder beats AJ... what the hell as Wilder done to even show he can last a round against AJ?
Wilder has been wobble legged like 4 fights in a row now against 15-20 ranked guys. Wilder's best win was very likely a fix and his technique is amateur at best.
One fighter can make 147 and one cant. Which one do you think is the bigger fighter?
He never said GGG isn't bigger learn to read. Kell weighed in at MW. Fought at MW. He was a MW that fight.
Then he stated than all the 'greats' have done it. GGG gets this special treatment though because he gets hated by the biggest bunch of mongoloids I've ever had the pleasure of conversing with.
I get called a GGG fanboy, he is my favourite fighter...
But man some of you underrate Canelo so much now. Canelo has some MAD POP in his hands. His handspeed is also incredible. I think GGG wipes the floor with him but I don't see too many MW not named GGG giving Canelo too much trouble. BJS and Eubank Jr probably give him some work that's about it.
To be fair, name some other p4p fighters... in the last 5 years who have they beat? No top guys are facing top guys.
Chocolatito is really the only one.
There is NOTHING wrong with GGG being top 10 p4p. Ward, Kovalev, Rigo... They've done sweet **** all compared to past greats too. GGG gets way too much hate on here. I swear, when he retires and the MW titles are split again between 4 average fighters who keep losing them, some of you will realise how good he is.
too bad ggg was afraid to agree to fight canelo or else it could have been him their tonight.
oh well cowards gonna coward.

19 posts a day? Holy **** dude you really need a life.
Thought you were all about War Brook? Nope, need to cling on to the next great hope huh? Be a bit more subtle mate.
Lmao, the first reply to this thread is LITERALLY the exact type this post is about.
Seen him trash GGG's opponents and 10 minutes later talk about how good Wilder is for fighting Arreola! I'm dying here.
I learnt that GGG has no respect for Brook.
You think Brook hit GGG all he wanted because he's that good? Lemuiex has ****load faster power shots yet couldn't touch GGG cause he got outboxed. GGG went in for a slugfest. Pretty obvious to any non spastics.
Opinions equate to evidence now? incredible logic.
Isnt that exactly the basis of 'creationism' The religious nut's have opinions that equates to evidence, therefore it must be true. Do you not understand irony?
Answers cannot be opinions, answers are facts.
You seem rather dim good fellow.
If Brook really said that in round 2, why was it not stopped there and then?
The FACT is it WAS a bad stoppage.
You cannot use hindsight now to say well we now know the injury he sustained was bad therefore it was a great stoppage.
The corner had NO IDEA it was an injury of that nature at the time, all they knew was that his eye was bruised and he pawed at it several times, is that reason to stop the fight? OBVIOUSLY NOT.
So that lead's me to believe they had no intention of A) trying to win the fight and B) Most likely always intended to stop the fight after a few rounds anyway and the injury was the get out clause.
Conspiraloon maybe, but perhaps there was always an agreement that he would go a few round's, promote his stock and check out of the fight before thing's got out of hand.
Listen with hindsight i agree with the stoppage, im a fan of brook and im glad he will live to fight another day.. before people accuse me of wanting blood/a highlight reel KO.
But you cannot act like during the moment it was not extremely weird.
Holy **** dude you are horrible. You're the guy who puts his fingers in his ears and shouts "na ah".
You realise some opinions are clearly better than others? Having the opinion that the fight was about to get very brutal for Kell is about as solid as an opinion one can have without it being fact.
Seriously keep denying it and you make it very clear how little you know about a sport that you are on a forum about... that seems very stupid to me.
If they were the same size Brook would have won by decision. Golovkin is nothing more than a brawler with a decent chin and preternatural power.
My god you ****heads don't know **** about this sport.
1. If Kell was a full fledged middleweight with the same ratio of power he had at WW, GGG wouldn't have fought the same fight. So saying he'd win by decision is retarded.
2. Golovkin is a brawler now? 350 amateur fights with only 5 losses as a brawler? Think again mate. Go rewatch GGG vs Stevens, GGG vs Lemeuix, GGG vs Bute (am). He is a boxer when he wants, a brawler when he wants. Something a lot of fighters cannot do.
You guys are absolutely retarded. Even if Brook was a natural MW for his whole career GGG would want it a brawl. Brook has average power.
"So courageous" type comments make you look like such a c*nt.
Go ask 10 random people who Conor McGregor is. You may get 2-3 people who know. Ask 10 people who Mayweather or Pacquiao is and you're going to get 10 out of 10 who know.
I know of sherdog. Why aren't the MMA guys on this forum who keep claiming boxing is losing out to the UFC posting there?
MMA has a stagnant fan base. It's going to get no bigger than where it's at now. The company was just bought and they're laying off a ton of people.
The UFC's largest attendance record was for 55,000+ at UFC 129 in 2011. Canelo just had 52,000+ attend an the Liam Smith fight and likely 99.9% of the US doesn't know who Liam Smith is.
You're going to have to show me some facts that prove MMA is more popular than boxing.
Mayweather and Pacquiao's fight is the richest fight in history. The MGM grand only hold 17,000+. The UFC on it's best day can't touch boxing. I bet the entire UFC 2015 show schedule didn't add up to what was made in the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight.
You UFC fans just waaaaannnnttt your sport to be number one when realistically it's just a middling sport.
I provide facts. You UFC fanboys are coming with measly opinions.
I'm a boxing guy first and foremost you dumb cunt.
Because MMA has no pulse. They have to come to a boxing forum to post. Noboby is talking about MMA fights. Out here in the real world people may know 1 or 2 MMA fighters.
This is a joke right? I'm guessing you've never heard of Sherdog? Quite possibly one of the most frequented forums on the internet...
MMA is a lot bigger than boxing in 2016 as a whole. As someone who loves boxing and loves MMA it's pretty ****ing easy to see that MMA has become more mainstream, particularly the UFC brand itself.
