When Mayweather said I have guns to the security guards, they should have said they have Pacquiao.
LMFAO oh Lord, this is just too funny; he'd probably go as far as to saying why dont you take a car lol, just dont bring Pacquiao anywhere near me
the fact that you made this thread while there are really good matches to watch on TV/streams only proves that you aren't an actual boxing fan.

Besides, youre a hypocrite; why are you on this thread in the first place?

Ever heard of multitasking?
straight up! PAc coming down to Jr lightweight and Nonito coming up to it? its fear to say that Nonito is too big for batamweight and Pac to small for welterweight so why don't they meet and have and all Pinoy battle for the PHILIPINO people's crown!
You do know junior lightweight is at 130 right? I dont even think Pacquiao can make that anymore: the lowest I could see him is at 135, but I think the lowest he'd actually ever go down now is 140: besides, Nonito probably wont get past 126: this fight is nothing more than a mere fantasy
I wouldn't pay for any of them. None of those fights are worth the money. I would go halves on the pac vs mosley though.
Segura, I just see having an easier time with Calderon 2nd time around: Maidana is just likely gonna run over Morales: I can afford not watching a UFC event, so thats like out of the picture: most of these fights arent really hard predictions; but Pac vs Mosley does seem a bit intriguing
Around 1980-1982, you had Aaron Pryor and Alexis Arguello ducking it out at 140: both great fighters, and im sure a fight taken with either by Duran wouldve been one for the ages: what could have been of Duran at 140? Let's take this a step further, and stack him up against the best of all time at 140: he might not have a track record in this division, but how do you guys think it mightve played out for him, opinions would be greatly appreciated
Thanks for the input guys: I always a little curious about this, so its useful information
In a brawl, I pick the guy with the harder punch and the better chin.
And that was Naz on both counts
Better CHIN? Really? So in what was supposed to be his coming out party here in the US, he gets knocked down THREE TIMES: when has Manny Pacquiao ever been knocked down? In any weight division: against Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Cotto, Hatton and Margarito, not a single KD has been scored against him..
chavez vs duran at 135 would be better..................great skill set.......i see JCC stalking while duran picking his shots.................i see duran winning a unanimous decision.............................
Chavez, on his finest day, at least in my eyes: was able to bully one of the fiercest punchers in Edwin Rosario for 11 rounds: his defense was a work of art, slipping and placing his shots perfectly, left and right; the numbers dont lie, with Chavez' accuracy percentage around the 60s and Rosario's around the 30s: I just dont see Duran being able to keep Chavez away for 12 rounds, 80s Chavez was an untouchable menace
Maidana doesn't want it! Ortiz offered him his payday for the rematch...he would fight Maidana for free and Maidana said NO...
To me, I just think Maidana is refusing a rematch with Ortiz for the sheer fact he wants Khan more than anything else: he sees as 'I already beat you once, why should I rush into a rematch with you'...I think he's just sitting back on it, and exploring his options elsewhere: but I think, the same way he's treating Ortiz, Khan is treating him: so Maidana, would be best off to pursue other fights at 140, he doesnt necessarily have to rematch Ortiz at this moment, but he should really stop pursuing Khan for a while..
His wife was dying of cancer his head was not in the fight,i will never talk sht about the ghost for that fight imagine if it was you.
I can understand your logic bro; but the truth of the matter is, he didnt have to take the fight; he couldve pulled out, but instead he chose to move forward with it; if he wasnt in the right mind state, he didnt have to go ahead with the fight; but he did, and at that point, your personal life takes a backseat, and its strictly business side; you cant really use that as an excuse; if you decide to go forward with a fight, your duty in the ring is to entertain the fans, I know this may sound a bit insensitive, but nothing outside of it should play a role in what you do while youre in it
Lets not forget Julian Jackson John Mugabi..
Yo bro, didnt Mugabi get flattened out by Terry Norris in Tampa, im guessing in 1991 at 154? Julian Jackson, he too got knocked out in 1993, 94 I believe by Gerald McClellan; both monstrous punchers, but both suffered KO losses
the excessive clinching should have been cause for a point deduction...it really stalled some of the exchanges...Berto was gassed (as usual) and that tactic should have been penalized
Couldnt have said it any better bro, a deduction for Ortiz, but none for Berto, incredible
Eh the card is all over the place, the main event wont sell
Call me ridiculous, but I think Marquez has a big enough fanbase to pull in a few buys; Judah is a hit and miss fighter, he never really fulfilled his potential, but I think he's recognizable enough to the masses, where a fight between him and Marquez could do good buys, that's just my take
Its nice to dream
Yeah, it's hard to picture Morales accepting the position of coslot, seeing as he just headlined a PPV last weekend and maintained he is still somewhat of a main event fighter; he did better numbers than Canelo v Hatton as well, and I doubt he would go for it, but maybe they could somehow work it out to be like the De La Hoya/Hopkins PPV before they fought, and push their egos to the side; and it's no sure thing Soto will go to Golden Boy, but one can dream
We all know Manny Pacquiao, he loves to brawl, occassionally he still gives his opponents a chance to exchange along the ropes: he's bound to get hit; also, take into account, Margarito's punch volume is much more than anybody, so of course Manny was going to get hit more in this fight than before, no matter what: take into account he also slowed down the pace in the later rounds in that fight, Margarito was getting more chances to get in some shots: its nothing to say he's declined, its just his nature
