I'd prefer Duran/Chavez.
I see Duran's accuracy, boxing ability, and ring IQ overcoming Chavez's predictable come forward style. Duran would always excel against fighters who are willing to trade and stand in front of him.
Chose Right down the middle, equally appealing because they're both great fights containing great fighters that would've demanded us to dig in the archives to watch and rewatch the fights.
chavez vs duran at 135 would be better..................great skill set.......i see JCC stalking while duran picking his shots.................i see duran winning a unanimous decision.............................
Chavez, on his finest day, at least in my eyes: was able to bully one of the fiercest punchers in Edwin Rosario for 11 rounds: his defense was a work of art, slipping and placing his shots perfectly, left and right; the numbers dont lie, with Chavez' accuracy percentage around the 60s and Rosario's around the 30s: I just dont see Duran being able to keep Chavez away for 12 rounds, 80s Chavez was an untouchable menace
