This is the last month (December 2023) that Showtime will air boxing. Will they be airing anything interesting like old fights or some kind of documentary? I already see they're not promoting the last card in two weeks (not on Showtime or PBC website and didn’t mention after last nights showing of the Benavidez-Andrade replay.)

I say some under the Turner broadcasting umbrella or even the CW network as they're now getting into sports (Inside the NFL, WWE, College sports, racing.)

The reason I say that is because ... earlier in the year, PBC signed the top 2 pound-for-pound boxers to separate multi-fight deals. Those 2 boxers being Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford. PBC was told well before we the public found out about Showtime exiting boxing. Canelo and Crawford are not signing deals without knowing this. Their next fights are gonna be on whatever platform will be taking over. Ever since it's be revealed Showtime is leaving boxing, we haven't heard a peep from anyone in PBC about what going on. They're obviously not worried. We'll find out very soon tho ...

Someone going under the radar with Showtime going out the window is Turner Sports. TNT, TBS and TruTV as networks under the Turner umbrella along with the streaming Bleacher Report service. Sports they cover are NBA, MLB, NHL, Soccer, NCAA, AEW Wrestling and Golf. A few years ago, Top Rank had a program on TruTV for about 6 months so they have a history of boxing and combat sports in AEW Wrestling taking off in the last few years on TNT and TBS. ​

I see this fight happening next. It's the only fight that makes sense.

Watching both of their All-Access on SHO, they don't talk or speak to each other any more.

According to the crew tonight. Probably announcing the remainder of the years schedule. May 15 is their next fight date.

Showtime just updated their their profile with just a picture of him. Who is his opponent?

How come it is a draw when one card shows a winner? Example, tonight's Showtime card. Two judges had it a draw, but the other scored it for Clayton. I never got that. A draw should be all three score cards are the same or one card for opponent A, another for opponent B and a equal card.

People complain about fights being on PPV. HBO put out 10 PPVs in 2006 (and I'm pretty sure Showtime had some as well. And fights not sponsored by HBO or SHO were also on PPV.)

When PBC made its debut in the Spring of 2015, their top names were Deontay Wilder, Adrien Broner, Leo Santa-Cruz, Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia, the Charlo twins and Shawn Porter. Spence Jr. and Davis were still making a name for themselves. Mikey Garcia and Manny Pacquiao had yet to join the roster. I think their plan was to make them all be PPV stars by getting their names out on network TV. All these guys headlined shows on Fox, NBC, CBS, ESPN, Sp!ke, Bounce TV and Showtime from 2015 thru 2019. As the year comes to a close that will have happened. -Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury (2018; 2020) and Luis Ortiz (2019). A possible 3rd match with Fury may be scheduled before the year is up as well. He's in the next group of PBC'ers with the mentioned Caleb Plant and other young champs.

An exhibition between two 50 year old boxing legends is getting more coverage than Showtime's huge boxing schedule released yesterday and the other boxing matches. I didn't hear a peep from ESPN about PBCs schedule released yesterday and hell, barely heard ESPN mention any of the Top Rank series fights currently airing on their station. Why does boxing not get any mainstream coverage on sports media stations unless it's Mayweather or Pacquiao? Or 50 year old Tyson or something about Ali?

We've all just seen SHO announce their fall schedule. Will Fox follow suit? Fox got rod of the PBC news show. Will they lower their number of PBC cards as well? Pac, Spence, Thurman, Porter, Danny Garcia and others still need dates (if they plan on fighting during the pandemic.)

According to his Twitter. PBC os having a press conference Wednesday for Charlo. Maybe he is co-main event with Charlo? Fox has a card in Dec but everyone knows it's the other Charlo om that show. Any idea?

Any news of the 154 bunch? Julian Williams vs Hurd rematch was supposed to happen Dec 14 but Hurd pulled out? Harrison-Charlo rematch of course was to happen in June but with Harrison's injury it was postponed. Now I've heard a Dec 21 date thrown around. What about Lara? He can replace Hurd for J-Rock?

Fight is already lined up for next year, possibly at Barclays Center.

The Deontay Wilder vs Luis Ortiz 2 rematch will be announced sometime this week. But on which network? Showtime PPV or FOX PPV? Showtime has showed Wilders last few fights (including the first Ortiz fight.) Fox has shown 2 Wilder fights. Who gets it?

In probably the last big fight night of the year everyone trying to get one last show in. Fox - TBA in Brooklyn (Williams-Lara rumored/Charlo-Harrison II-strong guess) ESPN (or ESPN+) - Crawford and Commey-Teofimo in NYC DAZN - Jacobs-Chavez Jr in Vegas or Cali

With Williams-Hurd 2 now off (for now at least) it makes too much sense for this match up to slide into that December date.
