Why are people scrambling to come up with preemptive excuses for Golovkin?? When was he ever robbed? The dude got VERY favorable scores when facing Jacobs in Danny's own backyard.
Because Jacobs is not Canelo? Dumbass.
She reminds me of that bird who used to present sky sports news.
You're right! Didn't notice it before but they do look alike.

I think you have to take the fight to him.
So many feel a good boxer - decent jab, feint variety, lateral movement, sturdy chin etc is the way but I don't think that is the best strategy myself I think if you box it plays to his strengths especially a textbook boxer. Its what everybody has done vs him his whole life. He's seen it 400 times before.
He cuts the ring off very well, he has huge power in both hands and likes to throw a lot of looping and wide shots and generates the most power at mid-to long range. The problem is he stays on you & has quick enough feet to get into range. You don't want him on the front foot!
Exactly why I see Brook losing not because of the size but he fights too tall and will get clipped probably as he circles out or. Golovkin is wrong for him stylistically IMO
I don't expect size to be the deciding factor here in fact I think the size differential has been a bit overblown.
I think the key to beating him is educated pressure, a fighter who works behind a nice jab who knows how too fight small. He's going to have to be highly durable and have great stamina.
Great head movement constantly slipping, rolling & stepping around him showing him angles.
Target the body, make sure that right elbow is tucked and try bring the uppercut into play as IMO he has a tendency of slouching over too much & he keeps a pretty wide guard and likes to square up with his head on the centre line.
I'd of liked to of seen the Pirog fight. I think he is the only guy at MW in recent memory that could of provided a real test.
Good post man.
So all this time all they had to do is ask some random dude on the internet....AMAZING!!!!!!!!
The same random dude who claimed that Broner was going to be the next Fighter of the Decade? :fingersx:
You are all wrong. Kovalev gassed out because he got ill during the training camp. Also Golovkin has much stronger and tougher body then Kovalev.
The keys to beating Golovkin are changing distances, going inside and throwing fast combinations. Golovkin very well defends from single punches but when his opponent throw fast combination he lands. Also he is mediocre in inside fighting.
Kovalev getting "ill" was just an excuse, it was what Chillemba was doing (hitting him in the body) that was giving him problems.
How do you know Golovkin has a tougher body, when no one has seriously tested him to the body? The few times Murray hit him in the body, it bothered him and slowed him down a bit, but it was too little too late and Murray was feather-fisted. But Golovkin's body is there to be hit.
Golovkin and Kovalev both come from the Soviet/Eastern Europe school of boxing so they are both vulnerable to body shots from the inside. The key is to go to his body EARLY in the fight, and i believe Brook has the power to hurt him to the body.
When you go to the body you leave your self open to head shots does that explain why they don't go there
Not necessarily.... for example you can counter GG with a left hook to his body right when you block his own left hook to your body. Brook has the hand speed to do that. I noticed that when GGG throws his left hook downstairs he's very lethargic since he's putting so much into it. Also he often shells up when you get close to him and throw combinations. That's when you need to invest to his body.
Canelo is going to beat Golovkin. That's why they're setting him up to lose. Fool. That's why the fight is being delayed. Canelo is not being set up to take the L, he being set up for the W.
Were you dropped on your head as a baby, fool?
It all depends on how much Golovkin has left and that's something none of us can predict. It helps that Golovkin hasn't taken any punishment.
True but no one beats father time, GGG already on the decline. After your early 30s a man's body naturally produces less testosterone.
Let's be honest - this is some sh*tty speculation that is about as useful as telling a striker to kick a goal to win.
Lets be honest- your post is sh1tty and contributed nothing.
Drug test him
Pretty sure gennady is clean.
Wilder got completely annihilated by Clemente Russo in the Olympics. The same guy who Ward faced and easily dispatched in the Olympics. This is all the proof we need to know that Ward would have beat Wilder.
exactly. dude just recently looked like sh1t against artur szpilka ffs
It's possible Ward could have had limited success against guys towards the bottom of the heavyweight top 10-15, but Crawford would get destroyed by any top 30 heavyweight.
No. Other than Joshua/Fury/Klitschko, none of those other guys at heavy can hang with Ward.
You really gonna tell me with a straight face that Charles Martin can beat Andre Ward? Eric Molina? Lmao.
Nowhere close. Mosley and Maidana hit him the hardest.
Getting hit with a football will make your face look like that too. No big deal.
Floyd fan on damage control lmao. Just admit that Ortiz took Floyds soul. Floyd was never the same.
As somewhat of a GG fan, that sh1t was hard to watch....

Tell us more, Alex Jones. Tell us how the "establishment " favors "Mr 97k" over the Mexican superstar. Tell us how the establishment would favor an aging Golovkin to a prime Alvarez.
They favor GGG by giving him rounds that he don't deserve so that they can sell a rematch.
If they scored the fight fairly, there would be no rematch because Canelo washed his old ass 9-3.
In the rematch, GGG will get slaughtered even worse and this time, the judges won't help him. The end is near for you.
