I really don't see how.
Ever since the man came out of retirement he can't keep Manny's name out of his mouth.
I think it's pretty obvious he feels jilted a bit by the boxing community and the way that Manny is #1 now even though he's back on the scene.
(Forget logic, Floyd thinks he's #1 no matter how long he's been inactive.)
And I think all of that will really help motivate him to get "up" for this fight.
It'd be nice to have a megafight that lived up to the hype for once.
if pac-floyd ever happens, i dont expect it to live up to the hype. floyd talks like hes gonna beat the hell out of his opponents when in reality he doesnt. just look at the disappointment in the floyd-oscar fight. i see it being the same. the only hype here is that people are expecting pac to shut floyds mouth
He didn't last time either.
at least pascal was able to knock bhop down in the first fight by being explosive during the early rounds. pascal got figured then bhop was on a rally. b1tch looked silly trying to box bhop :lol1:
What did you guys think about his performance against Diaconu?
he looked nothing special imo. the fight was like a light sparring session at least for me
that's what i been saying. pascal thinks bhop just got "lucky" and made ZERO adjustment. hommie gassed out at midpoint and got KO TWICE (balance)...
i also think that the ref should have called 2 knockdowns in that fight given that pascals gloves touched the canvass after getting hit. bhop dominated the b1tch
Pascal is a six round fighter. He's pretty much like Berto, they both gassed out too easily. Add to the fact that Pascal isn't that much fundamentally skilled enough, it was a wipeout for B-Hop and he deserved all credits for his win.
now that you mentioned it, yeah i just realized that pascal is just like berto.
Pacquiao is the biggest draw the sport of boxing has ever seen and whats scary is he still isn't even in his prime yet.
GBP and HBO are looking like f*cking morons right now.
pac has been on a decline since he was training for marg. he is past it imo
Floyd's win was more impressive. That's for sure.
i agree but thats not the question though. question is, "who beat him worse"
not "who looked better". you with me?
I guess putting on a "spectacular" show against a fighter like Margarito blinds us from reality.
i saw it as nothing special against marg really. he didnt look as sharp as he did while training and fighting. go look at the pac training vids and the fight itself vs oscar and youll see a lot of difference. hes on a decline and thats normal the guy is aging
Where was his absurdly high number of punch output?
Where was his newly developed technical skills?
Although he won, Pacquiao's game plan has been cookie cutter for his last four or five fights. Tonight proved one thing, a technical fighter he is not. The commentators said that Mosley was a clever fighter but in fact I believe that Pacquiao has become the trickster; mastering quick feints and creating sneaking angles.
Pacquiao has provided some good entertainment the last few years, but to the keen eye and well informed, he's been a product of genius matchmaking. Make no mistake though, his hard work and determination should not go unnoticed. Every fighter gets their "off night" excuse though, so I'll give it to him this time.
Tonight Mosley showed that with defense and some technicality, he can confuse Pacquiao and make him weary of his own decisions when up against another fighter with serious one-punch knockout power. What is unfortunate though, is that Mosley isn't the fighter he once was and wasn't able to make anything happen off his defensive stance.
As for his legs, well, he "explained" that, right? :lol1:.
Just another W on his resume.
hes been on a decline in my eyes since he was training for margo
i guess that's another way of saying 'omfg i got owned'.
nah... just checked your post history and youll never own anyone here. your knowledge of the sport is just way insufficient. dont get butthurt, just telling the truth
You got a point for Floyd but for Pac, really??
2x Marquez
2x Barrera
3x Morales
Jolis
Diaz
Cotto
Hatton
De La Hoya
Mosley
Margarito
Clottey.
Thats a more impressive resume than BHop imo.
pacs resume is better than bhop, but thats not my point.
pacs last 2 fights were against marg and shane
wow, would you even dare to compare. steward doesnt have any agenda or anything against pascal to call him that. while the mayweathers sure arent a credible source when it comes to comments for pac.
you missed the point. try again
hows boxing been goin man???post new videos when you get em..
ive been on vacation for 2weeks man. hard grind starts on monday ill help my stablemates for their upcoming fight on may28 :boxing:
ZERO credit get the fukk out here.. i guess the guy that whoop your as.s in metropolis mall should get zero credit coz u're a bum
did i hit a nerve? sorry son :lol1:
awwwwww, I was trying to give your props homey!
Cotto jr is butthurt... :bottle:
nah i felt like it was a personal attack, saw it in a negative way. :nonono:
thanks for the share dude...i know that its only a 3min clip and probably not fully indicative of your style but i noticed that you have a tendency to get flat footed...when you bend down to dodge or begin a combo, you square up and are completely flat footed
like at the 1:40 mark, your opponent started to let his hands go and you were forced to go straight backwards into the ropes because your feet were too planted...on your toes, you would have been able to maneuver out much more smoothly IMO
keep it up tho...you look like a gym regular
mak, why havent you posted a comment on my sparring vid thread? i hate you :lol1:
At least he tried very hard to copy Miguel's style. However, you're right he lost to a bum but what do you expect from another bum! :dunno:
this is how low some pactards can go. will attack you online cause something not so good has been said about manny. nakakahiya :pat:
