I don't hate Hopkins but he avoided Chad Dawson like the plague. His favorite saying was why would he fight a "young lion". He over uses that term WAY too much. Now that Dawson has lost, he wants to fight him. I never considered Dawson a true threat to hopkins, even at 46-50 years old. I always say style make fights and dawson laid back, slow style is taylor made for Hopkins. Dawson doesnt apply pressure or throw a lot of punches, i think hopkins out points him.... Even if hopkins did dodge or duck dawson according to you, he still beats him.

Hopkins was fighting Roy Jones last year for money. He wouldn't fight Dawson after Pavlik because of money. He most likely will try to not fight Dawson now because of money. People stop fooling yourselves, if Hopkins could do what Pacquiao and Mayweather do, he would, and it's okay the guy is at the end of his career. Don't act like he's some shining beacon of fighting top fighters right now though. He's had fights not happen because of ego and money just like Pacquiao and Mayweather.

I feel like the various sanctioning bodies should order a mandatory fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, for the sake of boxing, (just like they order mandatory challenges, etc.). I don't get how one boxer's ego can dictate the state of the game.
