I really disagree with everyone saying its a 50/50 fight, think thats just what those marketing the fight are trying to sell you. Frampton the confident more naturally talented boxer, Quigg the more dedicated fighter who's never out of the gym to make up for what he's lacking in natural talent. Then making a story out of the fact Quigg has the edge with the experienced Joe Gallagher in his corner to try sell it as a 50/50 fight.
Could well be wrong but I just reckon Frampton fairly comfortably outclasses Quigg on the night. Not going to be easy but indisputable points win for Frampton imo once he stays disciplined and keeps on the move. Could knock him out late on though either. Only way Frampton loses is if he gets careless and Quigg catches him imo.
Also the crowd will be mainly pro-Frampton. Nobody makes noise like an Irish crowd.
Conlan does not have a pro style.
He will not do well in the pros.
Lazy comment. He's one of the most versatile fighters thats come through the amateurs in years. There is literally zero arguement to be made for him not translating to the pros. Great at cutting off the ring, great counter puncher, great feet, quick hands, accurate as ****. He's going to be an absolute superstar.
How has Robert Hoyle not been investigated yet?
Turned in so many god awful corrupt cards.
McDonnell-Solis, Selby-Montiel, Oquendo-Gonzalez, Barthelemy-Shafikov, Kono-Kameda, Vasquez-Bey
And now Perez-Hooker
He looked pale, knackered and disinterested. He is either unwell, drained or both. He came in under 159 which is of interest.
I'd rather a great fight between two healthy guys. Kell looked great. I hope GGG sorts it out.
Nah he looks fine. He's just pissed off with the retarded UK media who've disrespected him all week.
GGG after weigh in "He not so special. I knock Brook out, I go home. It's boxing."
He's in pure killer mode and will end this early.
People believe this bull****..
Its all propaganda circulating from British media and Eddie Hearn in order to get people to pay for the fight. Pay no attention to it.
GGG within 5.
Also I'm a massive GGG fan but realistically theres little case to be putting him ahead of Chocolatito, Ward or Kovalev yet. Highest he should be is #4 imo.
Frampton should be a cert for top 10.
Carl has had everything his own way, the bigger split, specified what gloves to be used, the size of the ring, who is walking out first, who is announced first, who's on the left hand side of the poster. Just give Scott the ****ing dressing room.
Eh theres a pretty big thing..the fight is on in Manchester.
Frampton is the one being half reasonable here. Both want the dressing room. Frampton is at least trying to find a solution by saying he'd flip a coin or to lock it and use two other dressing rooms.
BoxNation keeps saying these rounds are tight...no they aren't.
Yep. No idea how he said the round 6 could go either way. Clear as day it was Chudinov's round. Think the crowd cheering Sturm's punches is swaying his opinion.
