158.8??? That's the lowest I've ever seen ggg weigh in at. Why so low? Plus as much as I denied it last night he does look drawn at the weigh in.
Is ggg and his team stupid enough to believe they can test the weight waters to see if.they can make 155 for canelo? In a live fight... This is weird lol
Holy Fvck Kell looks ready!!!! GGG looks drained!!!!
THERE'S ONLY ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE KELL BROOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :boxing::boxing:
Golovkin doesn't seem like his usual self. He didn't crack a smile even once.
Brook looks full of energy and enthusiastic and Golovkin looks like he doesn't want to be there.....This is going to be an interesting fight. It doesn't feel like the (fat) Amir Khan VS Canelo fight at all. Brook is very solid at middleweight, not soft and bloated looking like Khan was for Canelo.Khan looked fat at 155 because he is a natural welterweight. Apparently Brook is a natural 154 or 160 pounder who strained to make 147. I don't see how GGG has any size advantage going by this weigh in.
Brook looks like a full sized middleweight now. Khan looked fat and fleshy when he fought Canelo. Brook looks just as hard and lean as GGG and out weighs him by half a pound. If GGG wins it will be because he is better, not bigger.
This forum always cracks me up over the focus on leg girth~
It is always tough to say what is up at a weigh in with a guy because things like this do effect someone differently, I will say though guys in their mid-30's are not going to just bounce back as easily as a guy in their 20's. he could be perfectly fine, or he could be totally busted you can't even begin to say on that scale until you actually see him in the ring. I hope it is a good version though because it would be a shame to see him go down because he is not at his best.

Thanks. I meant the whole event (including the undercard). Any known fighters on the undercard?
Mundo (Callum Smith) is probably the most significant name there - a lot of people (myself included) think he has the goods to be one of the top dogs at SMW, though his opponent is nothing to write home about. Kid Galahad is unbeaten and rated by some but I ain't sold yet. There's Conor Benn - Nigel's kid, but he's pretty much a novice right now. Couple of other semi-decent names, but nothing major.
How did he struggle with weight when actual numbers show him making the weight with extreme ease?
People who struggle with weight come in right at the limit and have to get buck naked.
I don't get how people are buying into this bullsh1t when not only is there no evidence for it, but these is irrefutable evidence that he did NOT struggle with the weight. 166 30 days out and 163 7 days out and 158.8 during weigh in on exact opposite of struggling.
Ok he didn't struggle with weight.

It could be he lost too much weight. Or he lost too much weight too fast. But to argue that there isn't something wrong with him, i dunno. He seems legit out of it. And they say he isnt sick. So who knows.
GGG clearly struggled with the weight. First time I've seen him this bad which means it shouldn't affect him too much. He should still flatten Brook but doesn't bode well going forward.

haskins-hall and edwards-casimero should both be worth a watch. IBF titles on the line and boxer vs. puncher/brawler style clashes
Thank you. I don't really know any of those guys, but I'll tune in tomorrow from the go. Enjoy.
The broadcast starts at 6pm UK time. Conor Benn being the first fight pretty much as soon as it starts.
Other fighters on the card are Kid Galahad, Calum & Paul Smith.
Not really a great undercard. Hearn usually has a good main support fight but i think he spent a lot on the main event.
That said, there is some good fights like Haskins v Hall for those who play attention to the British domestic scene (although Haskins is a world champ), those guys don't like each other.
Also John Riel Casimero v Charlie Edwards for the IBF Flyweight title might be interesting as Edwards has only had 8 fights.
I like the way Callum Smith fights (only saw his last fight). He and Eubank Jr are the only British fighters I'm impressed with, so far. Sounds like a good event. I'll make sure to watch all the fights.
Thanks again.
Ahhh boxing. Where one-sided bouts turn into nail-biters as the fight gets closer and closer.
LOL, indeed.
About the only thing is that boxing is the theater of the unknown and there is always the chance that something dramatic might happen.
Odds are Brook is going to get KOed, this is Khan/Canelo all over again
