No, that part got lost in translation. He was obviously repeating what Frampton had said, being "I'm the A side" as a quote and then saying how daft that line was. Make sense? He wasn't saying he's the A side, he was repeating the line of Frampton in bafflement then saying how ****ing stupid it is to talk about that stuff.
