This fight is dead even. Two good, exciting boxers with dynamite in their hands and conflicting styles inside and outside the ring. This is text book boxing clash.
It originally got postponed til the Dec 14th, but no clarification as to why it didn’t happen then. Did a little more digging & not sure how reliable the info I got earlier is, but supposedly there was a financial situation and the whole event got rescheduled for Feb 2025 .
Any update?
I haven’t heard anything about a date, since the last update. I don’t think a comeback is gonna happen unless someone with money starts backing Ike and that doesn’t seem likely.
Kenzie Morrison (Tommy Morrison’s son) called him out mid- January and that’s all I’ve heard about Ike the last month
Yeah it's probably not happening. Thanks!
I know you guys are still struggling with the aftermath of your lobotomies but I don't give a fuck about Wilder. Does anybody know what happened to the Ike fight?

Hopkins from 2004, and Golovkin from 2017?? or from when? prime for prime, whenever that is, i would pick GGG to outwork Hopkins
I didn't realize Golovkin is considered past his prime? His post-prime sure seems to coincide with an increasing quality of his opponents. Wonder why.
Haye is better than Mike Tyson ?
I don't remember him saying this. The other statements are a bit unlikely to be true but not as outragous as this one.
Everything i said is unlikely true
No I've heard Dwyer say some of the things you listed, and I consider them unlikely to be "true" as in being inaccurate analyses, but I never heard him claim Haye > Tyson.
I don't particularly like him but he looked elite there. I thought his performance vs. Monroe Jr was lacklustre and not elite level but I guess that was an off-night by the looks of it.
Canelo, Golovkin, Jacobs, Saunders. Certainly by far the best in the division.
Nah, Kovalev's not featherfisted but he folds under pressure. Ward definitely proved that. Sergey looked shocked when he was the one getting bullied in those two rounds prior to the stoppage. Low blow or not, Ward was easily in control of that fight and Kovalev had no plan B. His attitude is toxic and it seems like he wouldn't take advice from anyone, neither does he have any introspection.
No to be honest. He got HOF talent but he honestly lacks 1 or 2 top tier wins. He should have moved up or down in weight (probably up given his physique) when the divisions were hot. Hagler never moved either but the MW divison back in his day had legacy-building quality.
look at your rep :lol1:
and you dont even have 100 posts...
that most likely means that you made this alt before and probably forgot about it
Some neckbeard Neo-Nazi virgin who spent his entire life on the internet downvoted me once.
Changed somewhat. He's still good but falters when on the backfoot and pressured by a strong opponent. I felt like the moment his aura of confidence was gone (which was about round 7 I think?), he looked lost. Turning his back mid fight to avoid damage was a little strange. He just didn't seem used to fighting equally matched opposition.
You don't think he looked tired? Watch it again.
Appropriately tired for being an A tier fight well into the 8th round. He didn't look gassed as at all to me but clearly, boxing is a taxing sports.
