Re watched the Porter and Spence fight and Porter tags him all 12 rounds with no problem. Porter is also slow as molasses and doesn’t look to have much umph in those punches due to lack of speed. How did he manage to connect so much on Spence? Is Spence defense a liability against PAC?

Manny has fought Spence’s before in his career, no problem. Spence has never fought a Manny. This will be an easy fight for Manny, just like Thurman was an easy fight for Manny.

Anybody know the details? They jeep saying Floyd is getting paid handsomely for this, but I don’t see it. Unless he’s getting a guarantee, I don’t think this event is gonna do that many PPV buys. Kale Pail claims his fight against Askren did “1.5M” buys but it seems like a load of horse poo and even Dana White and other sources say those are lies told to inflate their own hype. I don’t see anybody really talking about this fight, there’s no real buzz. So unless it does big PPV numbers or Floyd gets a guarantee, will he really be getting a big check? I don’t see anything less than $25M for Floyd as a big check.

They do not. People have been trying to justify these so called “exhibition” fights for the longest and all they do is bring attention that event, nothing else. Floyd Conor was in 2017 and Crawford hasn’t sold more than 150K PPV buys since. Spence can’t even crack 400K. Christ sakes, 44 year old Manny is still the highest PPV seller in boxing at this point next to Canelo. Stop with that BS false narrative.

Can somebody clarify this? They’re always poking fun at him for it but that doesn’t make sense. How does somebody like Floyd grow up and NOT know how to read? And if he’s retired, he can just hire somebody to teach him. How do you go through your entire life rich and never learn how to read?

On first take he said he wanted to show people he could box, so he boxed Mikey Garcia on the inside, that’s why it went the distance. In the interview that aired on ESPN leading to the Brook fight, he was asked about Spence. Crawford states, “I don’t want no excuses. Spence just got in a car crash and if I beat him they will say it’s because of his wreck. Why would I set myself up for that and get no credit?” But yet he keeps mentioning PAC, which there will be even MORE EXCUSES made for a victory over him! He’s 43 years old!
