Why do you Americans think all people from europe have practically the same nationality? I've never seen a person outside Great-Britain say cunt or yank. Englishmen and Americans are probably more similair than Englishmen and Frenchmen. Remember that in Europe also live Germans, Italians, Greeks, Swedes, Russians etc... In every country there live fat sons of a bitches. And if you feel offended when "you're people" are called that way, then you're only exposing yourself as that. Sorry but it's the truth.
To sum it all up: You assholes need to start getting along.
How to prevent white boys from beating you - by Bernard Hopkins
The Art of Defence - by Arturo Gatti
How to get a job instead of trying to live an impossible dream - by Charlie Zelenoff
How to sound sober - by that guy who always says "let me tell you something Jim"
Arturo Gatti (because he has crap defence and is tough as hell)
Israel Vazquez (epic fighting in centre of ring with Marquez)
Rafael Marquez (epic fighting in centre of ring with Vazquez)
David Haye (he has crap defence and awesome power, so either he knocks out or gets knocked out)
Floyd Mayweather (he usually 'takes his oponents to school' which is also fun to watch imo)
I don't understand why not more people have Gatti in top5... He's deffinately the most exciting fighter of them all... by far.
Boxers should travel around the world to countries such as Zaïre, Malasya, Indonesia, Japan and the Philipines like Ali did! It creates a better atmosphere imo. But that's just me ofcourse...
I agree with the horrible spelling and sentences on this site by a lot of people. People like sterling or mr tricky need to get their asses back in elementary school. They're making fools of themselves every time they make a post imo. (Mr tricky still seems alright because atleast he has meaningful to say now and then. Unlike sterling who wondered why boxer's have fucked up noses.)
I also still see alot of people (and then I'm talking about British/American 20+ year olds who manage to make mistakes with:
your/you're
he's/his
were/we're/where
their/they're/there
then/than
Also: what's up with some of the people on here who begin every word with a capital letter?
Yea it took me less than 2 minutes to type these 2 mesages.
Which are 120 seconds.
Knowing there are 2515968000 seconds in an avarage human male life from a developed country. I just spent 0.000000004% of my life on this. Which means for 99.999999996% of my life I'm not commenting about bad spelling of SOME brits.
I asume you are just joking but I can never be sure nowadays after witnessing some of the retards in this world.
It's official, BoxRec is updated:

Apperantly Chuck Z spit his mouthpiece out 3 times in 48 seconds... Haha what a loser!!
Rumours are that Hartley dominated the fight from the beginning.
And that Zelenoff couldn't take the pressure and spat out his moutpiece twice in the first round, and got DQ'd for that.
Hahaha!!!
And I actually believe it because Zelenoff still hasn't put a video on youtube to tell everyone: "I told you so!"
I went through the same thing. If you want to box afterwards, I read you shouldnt do Laser surgery, but an older alternative method.
Like what? I will only turn 20 in 4 years though so maybe by then there will be something new.
Also, did you fight with contacts then? Never had any problems with them falling out or something?
I got -6 rating in eyesight... Contact lenzes go till -20 though.
You guys think it's possible for me to box amateur with lenzes? I'm 16 years old atm and my eyesight will probably get worse until I'll be 20yrs old.
I'm probably getting laser surgery at 20yrs age though, is it also possible to box amateur after being treated with laser surgery?
Thanks in advance!
Paulie Malanaggi, or howeva u spell it,
i would lose a 12 round lop-sided decision
Paulie Malignaggi still has 5 KO's in the professional rings. I'm not trying to offend you but I doubt a random poster on here is tougher/more elusive than all those 5 pro boxers he's knocked out.
I have a trainer who fights pro on European level, he has 7 knockouts out of 23 wins I think, and he can still hit very hard. People always seem to underestimate the power of pro boxers that don't have a 50+ KO%.
And that goes for probably 99% of the people on this board: if you think you can last 12 rounds with any championship level boxer, you probably haven't been in the ring often enough to know what you're talking about. The other 1% are either famous pro boxers that post here (like Iceman or possibly Malignaggi himself) or very experienced amateur figthers. (like PunchDrunk)
Mosley, Cotto, Margarito... Many seem to have an active fighter as favourite boxer :o
Btw to clear things up: I'm talking about BEST performance, that doesn't nessecarly have to be the greatest fight or greatest achievement...
nice job man!!! :fing02:
nice to see a different thread also!!!!
The "past prime", "weight drained", "too small", "ducking" threads are a bit dull indeed :)
P4P hardest puncher doesn't mean who KO'd people throughout more weightclasses noobs.
It means who punched the hardest FOR HIS WEIGHT.
And if you go by what trainers say (people who have FELT how hard the fighters hit), it's Hamed.
But if you wan't to go by what retarded nuthuggers say (people who judge punching power by boxrec and youtube highlights), it's pac apparently.
So forgive me pacman777 and co, but I'm going with Hamed.
i've been also getting a strong feeling that marquez is going to come out victorious this saturday.
whenever i get these kind of premonition like feelings, i'm usually right. it's just a feeling i have that marquez will do just enough to pull it off.
Wow, this changes everything :D
Boxing fans seem to overestimate the importance of weight once again. When will everyone learn?
When the bigger fighter beats the smaller one, it's because the bigger fighter was too big.
If the smaller fighter beats the bigger one, it's because the bigger figther was drained.
Why can't people here just accept that 5lbs or so don't make that much of a difference?! Boxing isn't freestyle wrestling!
In the old days MWs and LHWs were beating HWs on a daily basis. There were often 30-50 lbs differences on FIGHT NIGHT.
Now a fighter who MOVES UP 1-2 divisions and ADDS 3-6 pounds is too small.
This "naturally bigger" thing is getting ridiculous. When a fighter adds 6 pounds of muscles he's bigger. You guys somehow think if a lightweight moves up in weight by gaining muscles, he somehow still is a lightweight.
I think Floyd will win, but it has nothing to do with weight.

Oh I never saw that one, I voted there now though. I don't really like polls to have too many options though.
Remarkable how the votes are a lot closer on this poll though. Maybe people are changing their minds these last days...
EDIT: nevermind; it was still 36-22 when I wrote the above.
I will root neither of them. I just want a good fight. But I think Mayweather got this
I normally also root for no one but hope the best man wins. But this time I think a Mayweather loss could be good.
If Floyd pulls his Dancing With the Stars routine as usual, he'll win another candy-coated decision. If he decides to grow a pair and actually fight, then'll he'll get hammered into a bloody pulp.
What is Mayweather going to do?
Run like hell.
I don't think you understand boxing. It's about hitting and not getting hit back.
Boxing is a sport, it's not fighting.
26 Mayweather vs 19 Marquez.... closer than I thought.
Which fighter that Floyd already fought looked the most like Marquez style wise by the way? Or is it something completely new for Mayweather? It will be something completely new for Marquez either way though.
