we can agree to disagree, its all good though :fing02:
If I had some green left to give you, you'd have it my man. You seem like a classy guy, I respect that.
There are many factors mate. Pacquiao assaulted JMM but he wasnt able to land something with the full impact that kayoed Chatchai Sasakul and Ricky Hatton.
If those kinds of shots from Pac landed on JMM he's not getting up. Now with Naz. His Best shot would probably KO JMM too.
My point is. NAZ looks spectacular yes. he kayoed bums and regular belt holders while PAC consistently Kayoed bums to good to legends with great chins.
First off, thank you for putting together a valid argument. Respect.
I do however still disagree with you. Besides Morales in the second fight, who has Pac stopped that was any better than the fighters Naz stopped? DLH was a part time fighter and came down to a weight he hadn't fought at in 10 years. Hatton still seemed shell shocked from the Mayweather loss asv evidenced by his dismal showing and being severely wobbled by Juan Lazcano. Barrera's team stepped up to the apron forcing the ref to waive the fight off. I love Pac and he's as impressive as hell, but this doesn't show me e had greater power, my friend.
Naz wasnt able to prove his MASSIVE power. all we got is opinions on how hard he hits based on his KO's over regular fighter. while Pac got all these evidence in videos knockin out legends.
Just imagine an arm shot with no leverage sends JMM's two feet up in the air.
As I've already pointed out, Naz's comp was pretty damn close when just comparing the ko's objectively AND he still showed better one punch power.
If there's another option that says equal i would have selected it :)
Fair enough.
Agreed.
Its all good though, this has been a pretty entertaning thread that hasn't gotten to out of hand.

Yep. People are blurring the lines between overall greatness and just pure punch power. Pac wins the former easily but Naz edges the latter.
Maybe but how do you prove it?
VIdeos of Pac was already posted. I dont think anybody posted a more impressive video of naz in this thread. Its just your opinion right?
I mean this is a ridiculous question from a very knowledgeable poster. Unless its a bait thread.
For the people that voted hamed i want you guys to find knockouts by hamed that surpass this;
Sasakul
I got a question for you miron......if Hamed was able to hurt Marquez (had they ever fought) as Pacquiao did in their first fight, do you think he would have stopped him?

Hamed's got insane power i admit
but how will you measure his power p4p? or Pac's?
by quality of KO's or by quality of opponents faced?QUOTE]
he does not understand logic...
been telling this bum that knocking out tomato cans aint hard
The only tomato cans you know are in your mommy's kitchen so you really shouldn't be interrupting the grown ups. We know you've never fought before since you only started following boxing a year ago. seriously, how can anybody even take your half assed opinion seriously?
Earnie Shaver, widely considered the hardest hitting heavyweight of all time lost a decision to a guy named Bob Stallings in 1974. At the time Stallings was 20 and 25 and had already been stopped 7 times. Do we say Shavers really wasn't the puncher he has been crack up to be because of this?

Some people dont really get it. Julian Jackson didnt have the greatest resume yet he's still considered one the hardest punchers ever.

but still you have to factor in the quality of those he fought
if we go by your logic then Edwin Valero is the greatest KO artist of all time
Well no, cos Naz didnt "only fight bums" as some would have you believe. This is the only man in decades to win all four belts at featherweight.
And Valero is probably a harder pucher P4P than Pac too. Its not a knock on Pac - that dude has a lot more going for him than just pure punch power.

Has to be Pac man no question. Look at there resume it's night and day. Pac has fought and ko'd really good fighters. If Nas fought Pac like comp we wouldn't even be talking about him. Kevin Kelly, man, come on.
You see, this is an assumption not based on any fact what so ever. And Kevin Kelley was not only a champion, but a solid top 10 fighter for years. Hardly something to look past. I mean, come on now. Should I use Oscar Larrios to make a point that Pac doesn't hit as hard as Hamed? Point is, they're different kinds of punchers. Hamed just happens to be the one with better one punch power, in my opinion.

Thats a matter of personal opinion. Myself, I look for a bit of both. When it come to one punch power Im not sure there was a featherweight besides Alexis Arguello who hit as hard as Hamed going by what I've seen. Manny has great power, but he wears guys down more than he ko's them with one punch. He batters them first. Hamed seemed like he had the capacity to score a ko with the first punch of any fight.
As far as opponents faced, Pac has the advantage. This doesn't mean Hamed fought bums though.
Pacquiao is today, Hamed yesterday. But who hit harder between the two p4p? No nuthuggery or hate, just objectiveness.
Has to be Pac man no question. Look at there resume it's night and day. Pac has fought and ko'd really good fighters. If Nas fought Pac like comp we wouldn't even be talking about him. Kevin Kelly, man, come on.
My man, Im not putting down Marquez or Manny. In fact I'd probably pick both to beat Hamed head to head. But this doesn't blind me to Hameds power. IF Marquez was caught by Hamed the same way he was Pac, I have no doubt Naseem would have finished him.

First, Marquez is not dumb enough getting careless knowing
that Hamed has 1 punch KO capability
he'll be the same like what Barrera did
And if ever JMM caught one tho, im pretty sure he'll get up eventually
JMM may be a sucker for flush KDs but still has the mentality to
turn around fights in his favor
