I know the official scores were very close and I've seen a lot of scores that had it close, some even for Briedis. I watched it stretched out a little too much on TV from youtube app that was only 360, I think. Maybe I wasn't seeing the connects clearly enough but I had 2 rounds Briedis, 1 round even, Usyk winning 3-4 obvious rounds, the rest competitive but edged by Usyk. Was Briedis connecting more than I though, you think?

For those who know a lot about this, correct me if I'm wrong on the impressions I'm under: *Pacquiao supports the president of the Philippines saying for regular citizens to personally kill not just drug dealers but drug addicts? *Pacquiao signed off on a film about himself which stated that he was once addicted to drugs early in his career called "Pacquiao: The Movie"? *Sugar Ray Leonard, Mike Tyson and Oscar De La Hoya have admitted to have been addicted to drugs in the past and Pacquiao has called them favorites and/or idols of his? *Pacquiao says we should all learn to forgive everyone, no matter how bad they are or have been so that we can all be saved? Is all of that correct or is something misreported or mistranslated in there that I've read?

Salido pretty much got away with the same fouling as in Lomachenko fight but they just didn't care to talk about it much, or call the referee out, even though they were Johnny on the spot when it was Loma's nuts gettin' bashed? I think the fight was almost over when I first heard Lampley mention one of dozens of low blows. Great fight, not to be buzzkilling it, but seems really hypocritical to me.

I've seen a few complaints about this one and personally I think it's a nice fight. It's kind of unrealistic to think every time a star fights it's going to be a universally regarded top guy, especially when he's not even defending a major belt. Kirkland makes good fights and even though he's had some low moments, his last fight was actually a pretty impressive beating over an undefeated prospect who has looked the goods since then imo. And it's a regular HBO fight, right? I can see if you assume it's not that intriguing but I really don't mind the fight or get the complaints I've read. I'm looking forward to it even. Whatchya think?

Who you met? Fighters/trainers/commentators, etc. How'd it go? Curious who treats the fans well.

When it comes to this, I'm straight up ignorant and I admit it so if this comes across stupid, I warned you lol. I'm ignorant but educatable. I'm curious about the sentiment for Cuban boxers in Cuba. Do the people there usually accept the defectors who leave to go pro? Is there a lot of support there? Do they talk a lot about pro boxing on TV and in papers there? Do they run them down in the media for defecting? Or are they more ignored? They make anything out of like when Solis challenged Vitali or the huge Rigo/Donaire win? Cause Gamboa still talks up Cuban pride and most of them seem to wear Cuban flags and stuff. Again, I don't really have any understanding of how it works there. Always curious about it though.

Agree with this? I like watching all four of these guys but there's always a chance that Chisora in great shape is still getting done the same way by Fury. That may have been more of a styles thing than anything. I see Glazkov/Jennings as being as meaningful on the contender scene as that fight and maybe even more interesting after Glazkov's showing against Adamek and Jennnings against Szpilka. Those were both impressive performances to me. Anybody else agree with this?

This is not about whether or not you like him or think he's afraid of Kovalev or his past or anything like that just a straight up are you down with what he does in the ring? I really like watching his style and have been satisfied with his fights everytime I've seen him for several fights in a row now. Anybody else a fan of his fights?

What is going on with this guy? I'm not a fan exactly but I thought he'd be a big, big star with tons of marketing and a big network behind him, in big fights. I almost never hear his name and when fights are mentioned they don't happen. Can someone give me the 411 on this? Talent, power, big backstory, some serious TV exposure, and an undefeated record. Why isn't this guy on fire right now? Why isn't this guy bigger than somebody like Khan or Matthysse? I don't understand it. Did he have something go seriously wrong that I haven't heard about with his health or his promoter or something? It seems like everything is there to make a big star.
