Last December I met Andre Ward, Guillermo Rigondeaux and Joel Casamayor after the Rigo-Agbeko fight. My wife and I walked down the the fighter's entrance as they were doing the HBO post fight commentating and Rigo walked by and shook my hand. Ward was hanging around and taking pictures with fans, I got my picture taken with him and Lampley. Also saw Max Kellerman and even Larry Merchant but I didn't ask them for anything.
Ward was down to earth and took pictures with everyone, same with Lampley. Casamayor was walking back and forth looking lost but he was cool too. Stopped and shook my hand and took pictures and spoke to other fans. Lampley was cool, he took a picture with my wife. He was polite and courteous.
I spotted Roger outside of Boardwalk Hall before the fight. He was with only 3 other people and no one noticed him walk in but me. I walked up to him and asked if him for a photo and he didn't hesitate. Also complemented my wife when I was taking a picture with him and her.
I've met many fighters over many years. Shook hands with Quarry, Foreman, and Vitali.
One of the nicest fighters I've met was Floyd Mayweather Jr. Really.
Not so nice was David Tua and Jeff Fenech.
I forgot a couple. Met Alexis Arguello at a boxing even after he broke his wrist in one of his last fights and he signed an autograph with his other hand.
Met Pat Lawler who "beat" Benitez and Duran outside the bar he was working. Probably one of the most people person boxers ever. He was going to run for mayor.
I once met Cotto, people say he's arrogant but he seemed like a really down to earth guy to me, signed a T-shirt for my nephew and took a picture with me and my bootch. Got to hang out with him for about an hour a few weeks before his training camp for Maravilla Martinez, he was a humble guy around us and all which kind of surprised me but made me glad at the same time since my nephew is a big fan, but what really won me over was right before he had to leave he suddenly paused, and with a stern look on his face took a knee. I started to ask what was wrong but he cut me off hushing me, I stood there awkwardly in silence and was about to turn and walk away when he rose to his feet, I said "are you alright?" He said in spanish "im fine, I was paying my respects to my father Antonio Margarito". I left NY with new respect for King Cotto.
Did this really happen lol
Met Willie Jorrin at a gas station. I want to say it was before Larios knocked him out. C*cky lil midget.
...and met some dude that once fought and got knocked out by Jorge "Maromero" Paez at a gym.
John Molina Jr. at the parking garage the night he fought in the undercard of Klitschko vs Arreola.
Attended the De La Hoya/Mayweather presser in SF but didn't get to meet them. Floyd split as soon as it was over, and Oscar didn't stay long either.

Met Malingaggi at the Barclays, real down to earth guy took a picture with him.
Met Jonathan Banks a little before his fight with Seth Mitchell, just kind of gave a head nod.
Briefly met Andy Lee at GGG-Gaele fight, seemed nice just waived and said hey.
Met Henry Ramirez at the Mayweather-Canelo weigh in, cool guy shook his hand.
Bermaine Stiverne was at the weigh in also, sat about 2 rows ahead of me, everyone was trying to get his attention but he didn't really acknowledge anyone.
Kind of a C-list but I'm yet to meet any top guys

Usually meet lots of fighters when you actually go to fights. Haven't had a bad experience yet when meeting and talking to them.
Sold movie tickets just two months ago when I was working at the theater to Shawn Porter.
Believe he saw Lucy and Hercules. He saw another movie too another day but he didn't come into my line.
"as you can see, I'm a movie guy." -Shawn Porter
First boxer I met in person, sucks he lost just a month later meeting him.
He should have spent less time watching movies and more time focussing on Kell Brook.

Possibly an escort.
.
One of the best analysis I've read on here lol
Met joe Frazier about 12 years ago ringside at a fight up here in the Toronto area. He was cool as **** and looked like he could still kick ass.
Met cotto twice, either he's shy or a total dick, can't tell. Based on what my people's in caguas tell me I'll go with the latter.
Juanma, met him in Culebra at some beach party. I thought he was cool and down to earth, he kicked it with me for a bit talking boxing, chicas and booze. Man likes his Zombies.
Briefly met tito in Santurce. What's there to say, people love him back home, easy to see why.
I met Winky Wright in the Monte Carlo in Las Vegas. I said "what's up Winky!" And he just threw me a peace sign while he made his way across the casino with a bad little Asian chick under his arm. Possibly an escort.
Edit: this was in 2006.
Met Juanma - He has a fake humble attitude.
Talked to Cotto multiple times
Met Kenny Bayless real nice guy
Met Pedraza he was cool
The Arroyo twins are really humble
Met tito, he goes to my hometown a lot
I met Roy Jones Jr in Sun Valley Mall in Concord during the 88 box-offs. I didn't know who he was but he had a sugar ray leonard shirt on and I told him Leonard was my all time favorite. The guy next to him said "this is the next sugar ray leonard". I'm glad I didn't laugh since I wasn't watching the 88 box-off's and didn't know that was Roy Jones.
Then I ran into a guy in the mall who had a Leonard cap I believe and he told me where Leonard was staying at the Hilton and I went to the Hilton and met all the Olympians and I told Evander that I was certain Evander could beat Tyson and he signed his autograph and put "John 3:16" on it. I also ran into Lou Duva and told him that I feel Whitaker has the style to beat Chavez which is exactly what he did.
But I wanted Leonard's autograph more than anything. He came out of an elevator and when I met him, he drew a picture of a glove with a smiley in it and his signature. I have actually exchanged a few emails with Leonard. I cannot give out his email address though.
Watching the 88 box-offs and the Olympics now that I had some interest, I was blown away to see how great Roy Jones was. I finally got his autograph 10 years later at the Vargas/Raul Marquez fight in Tahoe. I ran into Arturo Gatti in Caesars in Tahoe that night. He had a lady or two and a couple friends. They were drinking. I think someone said Gatti won 10K on a slot machine but I could be wrong.
