You don't "mind" the Alvarez/Kirkland fight, do you?

Me and my actual boxing buddies are excited for this one. It'll be an action fight that'll guarantee to excite.

Guaranteed action fight, cheap tickets, on regular HBO, and a good undercard fight.

Is gonna be a war forever however Kirkland can last without Ann Wolf/ Long LAy-off.....And this should set up Cotto/Canelo. Don't mind at all

If you know boxing you know this is a mismatch. I am more interested in knowing who Canelo's next opponent will be ? Andrade or Golovkin maybe Cotto.

And we all got to remeber if cotto didnt duck canelo we would have had that fight this saturday instead of this. the kid gets hating on for making the one moves he could have lol. And no one would buy it because they just spent $100 the week before. Now they're supposed to pay $75 the very next week? Cotto being the businessman simply saved that PPV from bombing.

Sure seems like a fun fight......in 2010. Im surprised Kirkland still fights I'm torn on this as Kirkland is one of my favorite fighters. I hate the long layoffs over his career because of what could of been, but then I think about it and his career would of likely been over by now given his style.

I've seen a few complaints about this one and personally I think it's a nice fight. It's kind of unrealistic to think every time a star fights it's going to be a universally regarded top guy, especially when he's not even defending a major belt. Kirkland makes good fights and even though he's had some low moments, his last fight was actually a pretty impressive beating over an undefeated prospect who has looked the goods since then imo. And it's a regular HBO fight, right? I can see if you assume it's not that intriguing but I really don't mind the fight or get the complaints I've read. I'm looking forward to it even. Whatchya think? I'm not that interested in this fight but Kirkland should provide some limited entertainment.

Alvarez is ducking Klitscko!!!! Oh wait, this isn't Floyd so it's an interesting fight that Alvarez should win easily to set up a big showdown with Cotto this Fall. Alvarez and Cotto should be a good one with the winner getting and beating GGG.

Kirkland has a much better chance than people here are giving him, he is a fighter who gets stronger as the fight continues, while Canelo is the exact opposite, if Canelo doesn't take him out early he could be in a lot of trouble in the late rounds.

To answer your question, no I do not mind it. At least it's not $100 right? it's free.

I know Angulo and Kirkland are nothing alike. I just mean it wouldn't surprise me to see a one sided beatdown like Canelo v Angulo, lots of big shots landed but then i'm not sure Kirkland would take it for as long. I did say on the other hand, if Kirkland grows in to the fight he can make things very interesting as i'm aware of what Kirkland brings to the table, the same things you stated. I think Canelo will win, but Kirkland will have moments. Canelo will catch him on that chin though probably. Kirkland seems a bit more relentless than Angulo though. At least he did when he fought Tapia. Kirkland needs to go balls to the wall 110% from the get go like he did against Tapia. Yeah it runs the risk of getting caught on that chin, but if he doesn't, he'll get picked apart like Angulo did.
