Who are you guys to say Shane was better in 07 or whenever, you aren't his body, Hopkins lost a fight to Calzaghe and came back and blew Tarver and Pavlik out and is regarded as a P4P fighter as is Shane. Shane knows what he is doing he was scheduled to fight Berto a fight many believe he would've won, however he may be fighting Mayweather now, this is a mega fight, age should not be a factor. Records, experience and past 2-3 fights should say it all, if anything I hate people who claim to be REAL boxing fans, but then spew total bullshit out of there mouths. If this fight happens it will be the biggest fight of the year, run with that and be happy two elite fighters will be meeting in the squared circle.

Mosley only beat Margarito because .....
1. He was allowed to hold excessively which in turn cut Margarito's workrate down and preserved his own stamina, which would of been tested if he had not been allowed to hold so much.
2 Margarito was tailor made for Mosley's style. The only reason so many picked Margarito was because they assumed Mosley was finished and would not be able to live with the pace, much like Hopkins against Pavlik, however they did not anticipate that Mosley would be allowed to hold so much meaning he did not have to work as hard.
Cotto showed precisely how far gone Mosley's reflexes are when he was nailing Mosley with clean punches and sliding underneath him leaving Mosley looking to pick up counters that were not there because his reflexes could not react quick enough to what Cotto was doing. Mayweather is a better Boxer than Cotto and has much more speed.

It's not only because of the fact that he fought both Winky and Forrest back to back. But it's also because he took on Antonio Margarito in his territory even though it's technically Shane's territory too, but a hostile crowd nontheless. And before that he took on Cotto in MSG with the judges against him and he should've gotten the decision in that fight even though it was close in my opinion. The only guy he's really blatantly ducked is Paul Williams, but look at how it paid off in the long run and Williams wasn't even at 147 at the time that Shane turned him down. Mosley is all in all, a stand up cat.
You know ive gotten to the point where im sick of hearing WW ducking Williams.. if he wants to be a WW fight 5 straight fights there.. Dont ****in start your career at 154 then go to 147 then up to 160 then everywhere else... He is a threat and the reason not to fight him is evident.. he's bigger then everybody else and not a champ... I like Paul but if your gonna fight WW fight all the bums there and become a mandatory!

In the little ive seen of Valero he is so-so, a great puncher but very open at times, put him in there with Pacq or Floyd or even Mosley and he loses Bradley might fall sustainable to the constant left an baiting right at times but would beat him!
Honestly my fighter of the decade would have to be Bernard, He's the only guy that i basically knew nothing about, but he consistently won and I paid attention. Bernard has overcome so much and never has decisively lost a fight since 93!
