This is a stupid question. I'm starting to buy into the entire "pac-tard" thing and I'm a huge Pac fan. It is what it is. He's a great fighter, but his defense isn't the greatest. Floyd is the best defensive fighter in boxing now, and probably one of the best of all time. If you think Pac has a better D just cause you're filipino, or because you're a fan of him, and only him (not a boxing fan, just a pac fan), you're straight DELUSIONAL. If Cotto (who I believe is over rated after the pac fight) knew how to follow up after a nice jab, he'd have beat Pacquiao. He knocked Pac's head back a lot during the fight, but couldn't follow up. You rarely see Floyd getting his head jacked the way Pacquiao does. Pac is a much better offensive fighter, but I'm sure Flomo's would argue that Floyd is better, so I guess it's the same. It is what it is. One has great D. One has great O. Take it for what it is, and leave your loyalty behind.

BTW The Colts and the Saint are two of the worst defensive team right now but with explosive offense. Are'nt they playing for what?. Nobody cares who blocked the shot but who SCORED the winning basket !

if one considers attack the best form of defence then it's got to be Pacquiao, you just can't hit him and expect to come away untouched, this makes fighters reluctant to go near him (except Hatton who kept coming lol) in terms of pure defence (i.e. getting hit less) it's Mayweather but fighters aren't scared to go after him, they're less willing to engage with Pacquiao because they know what's coming
