Pac is the most mentally tough fighter in the game, bar none. Dude just knows how to win and conquer, no matter the situation. THAT'S WHY he's so hard to beat.
And he's supposed to be "intimidated" by some insecure, ghetto fab loudmouth with brittle hands? He's already beaten opponents far greater than floyd mayweather...like poverty and roy chiongbian :boxing:
Damnit. Donaire is one of my favorite fighters so this was hard to watch.
Walters looked strong and kept the jab up throughout the fight. Wore Donaire down and kept coming forward. The weightclass might be too much for Donaire.
Much respect to Walters. Very classy.
is what it says in boxrec, weird, i only remember thinking donaire was winning handily before stopping vic
He was. One judge had it 40-36 Donaire. Commentators noted Donaire was pretty much dominating.
Walters beat Darchinyan with ease, and Nonito was having trouble both times before he stopped him.
Donaire was losing on the cards at the time of both stoppages.
LOL you're pulling stuff outta ur a$$.
Donaire Darchinyan I - Official Judge's Scorecards
Stephen Epstein 38-38
John McKaie 40-36 (Donaire)
Donald Trella 38-38
Go to 39:54 for judges' scores.
Walters beat Darchinyan with ease, and Nonito was having trouble both times before he stopped him.
LOL you serious? The first fight, Donaire starched a younger, prime, undefeated Darchinyan that was fighting at probably his most effective weight class. Donaire wasn't troubled at all.
Walters beats an old, past prime, heavy, over-the-hill Darchinyan and you're trying to say it was better than Donaire's KO of the year? Donaire haters man...
And the annoying ass Donuts to return
Donuts: Idiotic Irrational fans of Nonito Donaire
But If Walters wins, Expect him to put Jamaica back on the Map in boxing, which I fully expect Walters to do.
You seem to be riding Walters's nuts pretty hard. Let's see how quickly you hop off them after Donaire knocks his block off.
Floyd made JMM look like an impotent little midget in their fight.
JMM got exposed as a one-dimensional counter puncher. He needs come forward fighters to look good.
Floyd wins 10/10 times.
Because when Pac got held, or Pac held a fighter, he would immediately stare blankly into Bayless eyes as if to ask "Help me out here, I don't know how to fight inside". Every one was okay with that, every one loved Bayless. Now he refs a Floyd fight and doesn't allow Maidana to work inside, and Floyd holds to initiate break ups, and every one is all up in arms about it. SMH.
It's the same with the whole common opponents thing, only this is a common ref. And it's the usual suspects too, the exact fans I would expect this hypocrisy from.

Floyd gets the W and his fangirls STILL have to cry about Pacquiao? Gimme a break.
Maidana had a golden opportunity to put his foot down and become probably the first fighter not to put up with Mayweather's bull$h!t by calling off the first fight due to the gloves issue. Who knows how the fight would've ended up if Maidana got to wear his gloves, but I think he would've won.
Disappointing that he gave in in the end.
You could argue that fighting Gary Russell Jr. was a step BACK for lomachenko. Seriously, who the hell has russell jr. beaten? Which top fighters has he knocked out with his "fastest hands in boxing"? GRJ was just a prospect and a highly unproven one at that, so it's not like Lomachenko beat an elite fighter last night.
Still a good win, but Donaire beats loma.
Shot = when a fighter performs far below his abilities due to old age, physical decline, wear and tear, or a combination thereof. Usually results in a fighter losing to "inferior" opponents or being a stepping stone to young up n comers.
i.e.
Jose Luis Castillo vs. Sebastian Lujan
Mike Tyson vs. Kevin McBride
Pongsaklek Wonjongkam vs. Rey Megrino
Roy Jones Jr. vs anybody (sad to say)
Shane Mosley vs. Anthony Mundine (and vs. Canelo to an extent)
Manny Pacquiao just beat an in his prime, undefeated, top 3-5 p4p fighter by most media and expert lists, and did it in convincing fashion.
Manny Pacquiao is not shot.
OP sounds like an internet nerd criticizing hot chicks cuz they're elbows too pointy
Short answer: HELL NO.
Pac's resume completely diarrheas over JMM's.
Pac would've walked through JMM's list of opponents like a hot knife through butter, but the same can't be said of JMM going through Manny's.
Much respect to Donaire for being a warrior. Much respect to Walters for the win.
I like how classy Walters is in victory. Makes it easy to become a fan.
Donaire's been in with power punchers, and also with taller, rangier guys like Mathebula. He'll know how to fight this guy.
Walters is overhyped right now. He beat a past-prime, over the hill, old and overweight Vic Darchinyan and now all of a sudden he's Godzilla.
Walters isn't even close to having the quality of scalps Nonito has.
Donaire by vicious TKO.
Nonita is a straight beeyatch in knows in reality he has no balls to give vetyeka a rematch and he knows he has no heart to face Walters.
Donaire = faced darchinyan when he was undefeated, faced montiel when he was top dog at 118, faced rigondeaux, and now champion in his fourth weight division. Walters will get his spanking soon.
You = fat dude hating on an internet forum
Not hard to tell who the beeyatch with no balls is.
Pac is Bac
Great, great victory by the living legend last night.
He decisively beat an UNDEFEATED, PRIME, CHAMPION, TOP 3 P4P fighter.
All you butthurt fanboys/haters let that sink in for a minute. Tim Bradley is one of the best fighters in the world, in his prime, and yet you people are complaining that a "shot" Pacquiao beat him? LOL
Pac's style has evolved, or better yet, matured. A fighter at 35 trying to fight like he was 25 after all the wars and wear and tear would be a DUMBA$$. Pac is smart for being self aware enough to tailor his style to his current physical abilities and age. He boxed beautifully last night.
Not to mention he can still put butts in seats. I was at the weigh-in and at the fight and they were both PACKED. Bradley fans were almost nonexistent. Despite the two losses he's had and despite not fighting in the US in over a year, Pac is still very much beloved by the fans and rightfully so.
So he come's back to Vegas to a hero's welcome, redeems himself of the robbery in the first fight, gets his WBO Welterweight Championship belt back, makes $20 million, and pops Bradley's undefeated cherry.
Not bad at all Pac. Not bad at all.
WTF? Like who has Mares fought that Donaire avoided?
Dude just sounds like a butthurt nationalistic fangirl. Donaire actually FOUGHT rungondeaux so how anyone can call him a ducker is beyond me.
Arum is an idiot. He just likes to suck the money out of dumb PINOYS with Nonito ""the trash """ Donaire..... Even tho RIGO totally destroyed t,,,,the trash... I'm MEXICAN and to me RIGO is even better than MAYWEATHER . He is just unlucky to be in the smaller divisions. Rigo's hand speed, defence, reflexes and movement are great. LARA or Gamboa wish they were half as good as RIGO. Hopefully golden boy sings him up. So they can match him with mares and santacruz. The only reason why I root for mares is because he fought all the fighters that RUNITO DONAIRE SHOULD HAVE. BUT RUNITO KEPT FIGHTING grandpas and semi retired fighters. Best wishes to RIGO .
And De La Hoya used a hypejob like Mares to suck money out of dumb mexicans like yourself, so what's your point. He don't even want a rematch with an over the hill jhonny gonzalez lol. Donaire or rigo would obliterate the hypejob.
JUST PUT THE PIPE DOWN!!!! How many PPVs did Marquez do with Bradley... Now compare the numbers Pacquiao vs Bradley 1 &2... Get the picture... Since you mention Rios, Pacquiao vs Rios sold more PPV than Bradley vs Marquez and it was a non title fight in China... Now Marquez had never made more than a $6 mil guarantee... Not even after the KO of Pac fighting for a title against Bradley... Here's the another example of your silliness, Alvarado and Rios are basically the same... Marquez fought Alvarado on regular subscription HBO... LMAO when was the last time Manny fought on regular HBO... You don't go from regular HBO to $20 mil in ONE Fight.. LOL If he was worth $20 mil he wouldn't be fighting on regular HBO and he would have done at least 475,000 PPV vs Bradley... Pacquiao can fight a duck and it will be on PPV, who is Marquez gonna fight and get a fourth of the $13 mil he turned down from Pacquiao... Dude just don't wanna take that test with the Balco dude on his team and teen age acne on his chest and back...
