Just imagine, If Lomachenko could easily deal with the pace of Gary Russel Jr, Loma would arguably have an easier night with Donaire who would almost look like he was fighting in slow motion.
If he beats Donaire then surely he will be ranked top 5 in P4P ranking by most Cuban Rigo nuthuggers?
Why all that though???
Because some of the Rigo faithful rate Rigo as high as number 3/4 on the P4P ranking, the only win that they could base that ranking off of is by rating him on the Donaire victory even though most people are telling me he isn't that good and so on.

Come on now. Donaire and Gary Russel are two different stories.
Not sure how much he has left in the tank though, Nonito's BEEN on the decline.
Russell beats Donut.
That claim has no grounds. Since when has Donaire ever quit? Why would you insult someone's honor who's done nothing for you to question it.
Donaire has never quit and has never ducked anybody.
He tried to get out of the vetyeka fight by surviving 4 rounds. So he could get a title by default. He is on the path of a Tor Hamer or Victor ortiz.

He was ducking RingGODdeaux, until he couldn't do it anymore. And the Ring God gave Donut a boxing lesson.
The only thing Donaire has is punching power at this stage, his power is crazy.
Other than that he gets out boxed, if you look at most of his fights he usually drops guys hard one time at least or comes back with a hard knock down.
He is a counter puncher by nature this is why he struggled with Rigo and anyone who moves back because he doesn't know how to pressure fight.
It is just a match-up problem for Donaire really, it is tough to see someone knocking out Lomachenko and that is really how Donaire wins he will land some obviously but he is not going to be catching Lomachenko a bunch.
Plus Lomachenko is the bigger guy is that power really going to be a big advantage.
It ain't too soon for Loma haha, he fought Salido in his second pro fight and he has went the distance twice against two solid opponents.
He more than stands a chance of beating Donaire and that is likely a fight that will be on Lomachenkos mind that guy has big plans, Mayweather take note.
I think loma would beat up donaire.. Loma looks like the real deal, and donaire seems to being eyeing an excite from boxing. He doesn't seem to be fully mentally in the game since the rigo fight... I think loma would be the hungrier of the 2 and beat donaire 115-113
It's way too soon for Lomachenko to even think about fighting the likes of Donaire or Rigondeaux.
He needs to defend his WBO title a couple of times and gain more pro experience.
And I wouldn't give him much credit for beating Donaire anyway. Donaire is damaged goods at this point.
These statements seem contradictory.:dunno:
Lomachenko's not ready for a guy like Donaire. He should fight a lower top ten guy like Lee Selby. Lomachenko still needs to work on his pacing and fighting off the back foot. Give Lomachenko a few fights and I could see him potentially beating top five featherweights.
I was answering your question.
A bordering top 10 featherweight because Gamboa and the likes moved up and the division went stale! There was nobody there at all.
Yes and he lost to Salido! He lost the fight, he got his ass kicked lol so what does it even matter? It just shows Lomachenko isn't ready for a top 5 or top 10 fighter which Donaire undoubtably is.
How can't you? He was destroying Vetyeka who was never remotely in the fight. Donaire destroyed Vetyeka and was without a doubt on his way to a legitimate stoppage who unlike Salido and Russell Jr has actually beaten noteworthy guys this decade and was a legit top 5 fighter in a division which has picked up a lot more.
Donaire wrecks Lomachenko and Russell Jr on the same night.
No he's been a top 5 feather for years, and was top 3 when Loma faced him I believe. It was fairly close, with all the other asterisks, you'd think a more experienced Loma could hang at that level no problem. He's already faced MUCH better comp than Walters for example, and comparable to Donaire's at 126. I also think there was plenty of doubt about Donaire stopping that dude, he pretty much asked to have the fight stopped IIRC
lol. You don't have a point, but like to hear yourself talk, eh?
Salido has been top 5 at feather for years, levels above anyone Walters has ever faced for example. Walters is not even the full titlist, top prospects lol. Donaire looked like sh1t vs a shot Vic who's also a midget at feather, and can't put much stock in that TD vs Vetyeka

Donaire strikes me as someone that has more power than Lomachenko. I think he takes it and catches Lomachenko and possibly hurts him. I would love to see the fight. One of the few fights in the lower weight classes that I would love to see.
A top feather, that is debatable. Hes lost every big fight hes had except for a win over Juanma who is sh*t. Overachieving journeyman and nothing more.
Is he? Why cause he beat Russell? Donaires win over Vetyeka p1sses all over that as does his win over Vic who doesn't even have a win at the weight lol
What are his qualifications? Hes a world champion! Does he need them now for fighting a 3 fight prospect?
Walters came up the hard way and earned his stripes knocking out top prospects and such unconscious, he didn't have everything handed to him on a plate like Lomachenko.
