Would Marquez have beaten everyone Pacquiao has beat?

Clottey will eat JMM punches (assuming he lands on that turtle shell) like how he ate Pacquiao's while dishing his own damage. JMM's slower pace for being a counter-puncher will favor Clottey, also a counter-puncher. The only game changer is Clottey's size, he was considered a huge welter at the time.

JMM would beat Hatton and maybe Mosley. I would have liked to have seen JMM vs Rios at 140lbs.

I would've loved to see the fantasy match-up between Marquez and Margarito. A lot of people say that he would've just ran over JMM like a tank going over a car but I think Margarito would've eaten a lot of shots in the process. It'd be like a slower-paced, but more brutal version of Márquez-Díaz 1. And how does JMM get stopped? No,, jmm would lose to a prime barrera that manny fought,, Morales would be a tough out.. JMM already lost to bradley Cotto would crush jmm Margs might even run over jmm.... Styles make fights, and jmm doesnt have the skillset to deal with much bigger fighters like manny has He more than has the skill sets to beat this guys. Physically his body just doesn't hold up at the higher weights like Manny does. If his body would hold up at this weight he would have a great chance to compete and beat those fighters.

Im not even sure JMM can beat Alvarado. JMM will have a hard time beating legit contenders at 140lbs and above...Only guy he has a shot against is PAC and it'd always be a 50/50 fight. JMM loses his speed at 140 and above ...although he can and will be competitive always due to his ring IQ and experience. He can beat Alvarado and possibly Provodnikov if he can control distance and keep Provo off him with power counters.

Styles makes fights, but Pac, in terms of hand- footspeed and stamina is such a freak, that he will be a tough fight for everybody. Marquez already lost to Bradley, i see Margarito giving him problems since Marquez punch output and footspeed arent great. I would also favor Cotto and Oscar

No way marquez beats margarito or clottey. I'd give jmm a better chance against cotto at 147 than against clottey. It's just a terrible terrible style matchup for jmm.

Who cares? Manny couldn't beat JMM, at 126, 130, 147, or any weight for that matter. IMO a lot of those guy are to big for Marquez and would probably beat him and just because Many was able to beat them doesn't erase the fact that JMM beat Manny clearly 3 times. he beat pac clearly once. the ko.

morales and barrera are superior to jmm mosley, marg, clottey, cotto are all too big hatton and rios would have roughed up jmm kangaroo meat oscar too hell ledwaba would probably have been a boring ass close fight with jmm jmm is a bad matchup for pac but he is not as good as pac especially against bigger guys.

Short answer: HELL NO. Pac's resume completely diarrheas over JMM's. Pac would've walked through JMM's list of opponents like a hot knife through butter, but the same can't be said of JMM going through Manny's.

Hell no man, he already got thoroughly outclassed by Bradley. He barely beat the shadow of Barrera, you think he'd beat a prime Baby Faced Assassin? Obviously not. Marquez is a tremendous boxer but he doesn't have the speed or athleticism to deal with much bigger guys the way Pacquaio did.
