Guerrero brought a lottery ticket where floyd decides who wins according to the article. Some way to pick your opponents.:nonono:
any body who fights floyd or pac is like buying a lottery tickect and if you win it like winning the lottery because you will be much bigger then you where before the fight
Margarito's wraps were caught before he fought Mosley. Theres no proof he cheated
Shane is not in the HOF. But I wasn't arguing about who should or shouldn't be in the HOF really...
he still a cheater he got caught trying to cheat just like like shane got caught years after he cheated they are both cheaters.
So ready to read the double standards from some fans.
I mean they're quick to say someone career should be questioned if they cheat. Shane Mosley along with other boxers like Toney, Vargas, Jones, n etc cheated so their resume should be questioned as well. Why should a person with a questioned career be in the HOF right?
they are all cheaters but toney, shane, and jones are hof
LOL where the Pacquiao fans at????
To be honest I think Mayweather is being a little unfair with the ppv % demands but it's funny to see someone in Pacquiao's camp come out and say it's not Mayweather's fault and fully Arums fault. Must be heartbreaking for die hard Pac fans and why they're avoiding this thread
check hook is going to get you lol
i think its easy for everyone to bash margs now... but people forget his reign at WW... one of the most avoided fighters of the time...
relentless pressure... granite chin... amazing conditioning...
fighting margs = looooong hard night, most elite fighters wanted no part of...
IMO, margs beat cotto the first time due to cotto's HORRIBLE game plan and suspect conditioning.... in the rematch, margs was outboxed thoroughly... he could have been GIVEN handwraps, it wouldve still been the same outcome.
margs is obviously a scumbag "bad guy", deservedly so, but i wouldnt go so far as to negate his careers work.quote]
it his own fault that people but is career work into a bad light
Well no because there's proof that Mosley cheated in the ring whereas there's no proof Margarito did. You can use conjecture but that's still not evidence.
no my point is that if you try and cheat your still a cheater
no these are baseless allegations being spread by jealous fl0mo's trying to slander Mannys name.....but damn even if it is true atleast he is just banging the broads like a playa and not beating them like Gayweather bwabwabwabwabwa
lol you funny larry
Cheating is cheating. Think of all the extra punishment opponents unnecessarily take against roided up fighters.
Anyway, Margarito has skill, all the top contenders and former champions in the various divisions do. You simply don't get there otherwise.
The lunacy of boxing, this wouldn't happen in other sports.
it happens in other sports
then,
floyd fanboy: "ariza is a scum, he's a liar"
now,
floyd fanboy: "ariza is an angel, he tells the truth"
then pac fanboys ariza is then the truth
pac fanboys now floyd fans are crazy ariza know nothing
Cotto lost rounds 9-12 and that cost him the fight IMO. for the first 8 rounds, one could argue the fight was even or very close. I had it 5-3 Floyd after 8, which means the fight was within reach for Cotto. If he had continued that same momentum he had going for him in the 8th, he might have had a stronger and better chance. Like I said before, fight was close but Floyd won the championship rounds and that made the difference. This fight was competative for 12 rounds.
I hate to say it but i agree with this
As we all know by know Lamont Peterson tested positive for synthetic testosterone, an anabolic steroid. Ironically Peterson was the one that demanded the testing, maybe insinuating Khan could have been using.
VADA carried out the tests which included Carbon Isotope Ratio testing which is what caught Peterson out.
WADA, USADA, NSAC don't use that testing method and only use the T/E ratio which has and upper limit of 4:1 or 6:1 in some cases.
Peterson T/E ration was 3.71:1 bellow the level of the other testing agencies and Peterson would have passed their tests.
It was also a urine sample that caught Peterson out, who claimed he used the pellets back before the first fight. Drugs stay in the urine much longer than blood and can be detected long after the last use of the drug taken.
So if Mayweather and Khan do get it on one day, which testing method should they use, VADA or USADA?
And should Khan insist on using VADA since USADA don't use CIR testing and will allow the use of synthetic testosterone as long as the boxer keeps his T/E bellow 4:1.
And should Floyd accept Khan's VADA testing and abandon his USADA testing program.
I'm not sure exactly on Floyd's testing but is it right he only tests 30 days before the day of the fight, is this standard of testing really acceptable considering all gaping holes it leaves to use PEDs
MAN YOU MUST LOVE:chickenboy:ALL YOU DO IS TALK ABOUT HIM LIKE A LITTLE SCHOOL GIRL
I read that they were re-airing it on ppv for the same price from May 7th -9th. Not sure I've ever seen this done for a boxing ppv before. Could this be a sign of lower than expected #'s?
no i seen it done before
http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=2113721
Winky even agreed to the re-hydration clause Floyd tried to put on him.
http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=2113721
We agreed to 154 pounds, we agreed to another morning weight because they were concerned about the weight -- Winky couldn't gain more than eight pounds above 154."
Floyd and moving goalpost at the last minute, great ducking Floyd.
Winky would have dominated you to a wide UD
Winky's Defense > Floyd's Defense
so you wanted :chickenboy:to go up 14 pounds but dont want mannt to go up three pounds to fight maartinez
Well, that's not PPV. That is gate revenues.
Floyd is actually a better PPV performer (on a per-event basis) than Delahoya.
Manny is too.
my bad i meant gate king
