Floyd never made any adjustments. McGregor beat on him for a few rounds, then changed his style so Floyd could win. It was all in the script. Floyd never "makes adjustments" in any of his fights.
Broner's fights are all rigged for him to win. This fight will be rigged too. When the powers that be get tired of him, someone will be allowed to thrash him. It could be tonight, you just never know. Maidana was already allowed to beat him, that could have been to set him up for Mayweather. All I know is this will not be a real fight.
Conor McGregor did a fantastic job. He lost the fight in exactly the way he was supposed to, making maximum money for the sportsbooks and screwing the fans. He got paid millions of dollars as well. He just needs to learn how to act better because most of the fans didn't believe his performance.
Amir Khan is managed by Al Haymon. If he fights Mayweather, Haymon will rig the fight, Amir Khan will pretend to fight for 12 rounds just like Manny Pacquiao did. This fight would be even more silly and ridiculous than the Pacquiao fight was. At least Pacquiao was managed by a different guy.
Once Pacquiao decides not to disclose his shoulder before the fight, he's given up the right to bellyache/moan about it afterward. If the injury is serious, postpone the fight. If it's trivial, fight like a man and accept the consequences.
We hate Floyd because his opponents look like they have been paid to lose. When they fight Floyd they throw fewer punches and their punches are from out of range. They get mysterious injuries that aren't disclosed until after we have paid our money. His fights look rigged and fake.
Every Mayweather fight is the same, the opponent looks great, promises to really fight, has big rippling muscles, seen sparring, looks vicious and scary, selling the fight perfectly well. Then on fight night, he rolls over like a little puppy. No punching, punches from far away, no uppercuts, lets Floyd hit him. I'm not saying Berto's not going to show up. I'm saying he's behaving exactly like all the previous fighters (after Ricky Hatton) who didn't show up.
Pacquiao will regret disclosing this injury at all. Nobody wants to hear excuses anyway. After I paid to eat the meal, I don't want to hear why you couldn't cook it right.
Be very careful about betting big underdogs.
These oddsmakers are not idiots. Every time a big underdog wins, the casinos lose money because the money they get on the favorite is almost never 10 times what they're getting on the underdog. I bet on Robert Guerrero to beat Floyd Mayweather. Then on fight night, Robert doesn't show up to fight. He only throws single punches, no combinations, no uppercuts, almost all of his punches were thrown from well out of range, and he would lunge into range and get countered by Floyd. Compare this with the Berto fight and there's a huge difference. The casinos made out like bandits on the Floyd fight.
Lee Purdy was also a huge underdog vs. Devon Alexander. In the first round Purdy shuffles forward and lets Devon hit him over and over. You would think he would just back up but he didn't have the brains to do that. Then he quits suddenly in the 7th round, which was really convenient because Devon had a broken hand. Trust me it's irritating when your underdog fighter doesn't show up to fight. Floyd and Devon are Al Haymon managed fighters. Broner is an Al Haymon fighter. Al Haymon fighters never get robbed by the judges but they do get gift decisions. Broner got a gift decision against Ponce de Leon is his own hometown.
You guys all know that hype with Jessica was just used to market the fight, right? It's a pretty amazing coincidence that Adrien found one of Paulie's exes to hook up with out of all the millions of women out there. It had me going for a while too until I really thought about it.
I knew this fight would be rigged. This is all bu$#%#$t to cover it all up. Manny didn't throw any punches. All of this is theater to de-legitimize the result and build hype for a rematch. I knew all of this would happen.
Fair enough, but Showtime's PPV event was less than thrilling. Showtime has a lot to make up for. Also, Showtime has a lot of predictable winners. Have they even had a single betting underdog win this year? I know Austin Trout was an underdog when he won last year. On HBO, Stevenson was a slight underdog to beat Chad Dawson.
Would you watch two boxing oddsmakers if they put on gloves and tried to fight? Of course you wouldn't that would be boring/pathetic. So why would you listen to a fighter who's trying to be an oddsmaker?
This fight was so staged, it wasn't even believable. Conor had to work hard to try to make Floyd look good. It's getting more ridiculous each time Floyd fights.
Whatever happens this fight will be staged just like Floyd's other fights. Berto will be made to look good. The fight will be exciting and Floyd will let Berto hit him a few times. I think Floyd should be sporting and let Berto have a knockdown. That would be really exciting.
