Khan was doing pretty well the first few rounds attacking Canelo with good 3-4 shot combinations.. Perhaps he should have moved to a more defensive stance to avoid a KO. Unfortunately for him he got caught with a good right hand from Canelo and that was the end. Canelo looked like the was trying to adjust to Khans incredible hand speed every round which ultimately helped him out.
What if Khan switched it up and started to pot shot Canelo and backing out quicklymuch like Mayweather. Avoiding any serious exchange from Canelo of course. Do you think maybe he would have lasted the 12 rounds and possible scored a favorable decision?
Don't get it twisted fellas. He said his team will send GGG an offer with an unspecified weight limit. He did not say it will be at 160.
He then went on to say that to HIM the weight is not an issue however he has a team that advises him and they may dictate the weight limit to GGG.
Cmon guys stop with the hype now please.
Dude lost the first 4 rounds when Gamboa was not acting all crazy. It was Gamboas defense and size that lost him the match not Crawford's skill.Gamboa started coming in with NO DEFENSE at all and started getting clocked due to his hands being down at all times when he traded.
Let him face Ruslan and see if he trades with him like Bradley did, dude get KO'ed more times than no defense Gamboa.
Danny, Lucas, Rus, AB all stop him and lets not even talk about the elite 147 fighters than can drop to 140.
:killyou:
Canelo knew he was winning the fight in the scorecard, so why would he risk a possible KO? He did what Rigo did in the late rounds and played it safe. He would have won more rounds if he needed to win them.
Canelo made it close not trout.
Pac needs to stop dealing with his political nonsense and focus strictly on boxing. I know his wife has issues with him spending more time with boxing than with the family and that must put extra pressure on him that he does not need.
Dude needs to get a grip and focus in order to beat Floyd. Pac is the only real dude out there that makes May feel uncomfortable.
It is mentally tough to have someone very close to you nagging you about quitting. Look at Cotto and his fight against Trout where she asks Cotto to stop and Cotto responds he can't since that is the only thing he knows is to box.
I don't think many people doubt that Pac CAN beat Floyd he just needs to mentally step it up.
Well Pac said he was doing really good until the lucky punch. Lucky or not that is what Pac thinks so I doubt it will affect him in any way if all he thinks was silly luck. He is still better than Bradley and Marquez.
Lets be honest, if Pac decided to never fight Marquez he would be nothing.
Well it's not just 40mill, if May would have beaten Pac in a good fight then there would be a second and maybe third fight that would have generated more then 40mill all together due to Pac wanting a rematch.
If Pac would have taken it and beaten Floyd then he would have the upper hand on things and could demand more money the next fight.
I do believe it could have generated more than 100mill each over the course of 2-3 fights. That could have definitely bought Pac the Presidency over in the Philippines.....:banana: and gotten May out of financial problems:banana::banana:
Each fighter is to blame here, I do believe greed or pride over money made this happen instead of glory or love for boxing. If they had some Ali in them this would have happened years ago...
lol at comparing Ali's charisma to Broner....
Be glad his and aggressive fighter that is only 23 years old. Its boxing not a damn soap opera, hbo has fed you guys too much 24/7 ahahhahah
Is Pac not 2-1-1 against Marquez???? History must have changed?
How is that leftovers when Pac is up on the win ratio????? 1 KO doesn't mean Marquez is better than Pac unless theres a 5th fight and it happens again with Marquez getting another KO win over Pac.
Matthysse next , Pac, Canelo, GGG, Broner
plenty of good fights to see but I suppose Floyd will fight Garcia's, Devon's, Bradley's, Ortiz, khan........
