He would at the very least have to beat the top 140 lb fighters..Garcia, Mathysse, Khan, Peterson, even Guerrero would be good.. If he can beat at least some of those names it would elevate him into Star contention! 1 of those names and Pacquio would bring him to stardom as well, I would really like to see him and Pac because there closer to the same size and theirs styles would make for a perfect fight!
Point blank fighting wise you cannot compare him to mayweather.. He does not have the technical ability like floyd, while entertaining he's much more of an offensive fighter this creates openings and will ultimately be his downfall when he gets to 140/147 and he gets in there with someone his size and that can punch like him or even harder ala rios, garcia, mathysse etc. His body is also built differently from Floyd, if you look at floyd @ 130/135 he was the same size or smaller than his opponents corrales, genaro hernandez, castillo etc. whereas broner is overwhemingly BIGGER than all of his opponents thus far and has had every clear advantage coming into the ring! He WILL not have any competition until he gets to 140 and fight rios, garcia, or mathysse Period!
No, actually Froch is a pretty good SMW who comes to fight each time out.. U have to respect him for that because many fighters dont and are scared of oppenents. He's fought them all and the ones he hasnt..Joe Calzaghe.. he's always been willing to step in the ring with. Skillwise he lacks alot but he makes it up with heart and determination..
I don't think Broner has been tested. I wouldn't call him elite or world class yet but Khan doesn't beat him.
I respect your opinion, I think it would b an interesting matchup and would like to see how it plays out..
Broner is still untested as far as world class or how he says it "Elite" which he surely is not.. Khan I think with his experience, movement and underrated punching power as well as new coach in Virgil would beat Broner if they were to fight right now @ 40.. I'm not sure if Broner can deal with someone thats not right in front of him like a "punching bag" and gives him good movement to confuse his attack..
Brandon would walk him down pressure him like never before and KO him. I really would LOVE to see this fight! Great clash of styles, we'd really see what Broner's made of in this one.. I just don't know how talented he is with the cupcakes he's been fighting guys that can't punch. Brandon would show him things he's never seen!
Goin with Berto by KO, many are talking about Berto and stamina problems yet he was able to go 12 hard brutal rounds with Victor Ortiz, a Big strong full welterweight puncher unlike Guerrero. He did have shakely legs going down the stretch but he was able to finish the fight on his feet.. Same in the Luis Callazo fight.. He wont have that much of a problem with Guerrero because and I think his size will make the difference in the fight.. Not to mention he is extremely hungry and has be in excellent shape for months the best I've ever seen him!
Time will tell, I really like AB he's exciting to a point and has a huge upside with his physical ability.. Where I feel he will have a problem is with thinking in the ring and the pure mental toughness you have to have to be of the caliber of a Floyd Mayweather or Manny.. Where I have to keep going back to is the Ponce Deleon fight, where when trying to use his skills and out "Think" his opponent he was unable to do it with all of the physical advantages that he had! Thus making him change his style to where he has to walk his opponents down because he doesn't have the capability to out think them! So I say we will not see the true Adrian until he gets in there with a "Top" 140 pounder at the very least and is in there with an opponent that he just cant "walk down" after a few rounds..
No Doubt its Trout!! Love Cotto but he got beatup tonight! Face tells the tale.. Great win for the young gun and its great for boxing! Now let's hope he get's the fights he deserves to showcase his skills because he is very skilled!
Hope this fight comes off, it will be a good test for Broner.. even though I know he's to big for anyone at 135.. But skillwise it can be a pretty good matchup for HBO, actually a real fight and not a cupcake..
The Bottom Line
First off facts are facts, whether your a fan of Pacs or a fan of Mayweather both fighters should come in the ring clean bottom line! Only agreeing to drug tests at certain particular times and dates is like giving a person an open book test, of course they will pass with flying colors! The fact that you completely say NO to random drug tests is a clear sign that you have something to hide concerning drugs. You have proof that the needles arent the real issue when you see him on video giving blood like its a walk in the park and you see him with tattooes all over.. Let's look at it for what it is, this will only add to that huge black cloud that you have over boxing! Everyone needs to wake up and smell the coffee, this test goes beyond the fighters and puts the whole sport of boxing on the FRONT PAGE of the news...
Yes, I have and it did'nt make me arm weary.. definitely not a few hours later. If I can give blood and immediately after go to work a professional fighter can take a blood test a day before the fight and not have any ill effects period! Its sounds like a whole lot of excuses..

Yes, he's definitely juicing.. No one I repeat no one turns down 40 Mil over a simple random blood test unless there juiced up on HGH or somethin.. He doesnt like needles but he has tattoos all over ????? C'mon let's get real.. you def. have something to hide period!
Good fight, not the best. would have preferred Marquez II witch would have been a massive fight for Cinco de Mayo weekend and he's the guy that beat the guy in ppl's eyes! But don't know if he's fighting again at all so we got Guerrero. And for all u ppl that say this is a bad choice who else is "really" out there? Bradley?!.. come on who wants to see him and he in my opinion had his chance to fight and beat Guerrero and he turned it down. Then there's guys like Alexander who may get beat by Brook.. Let's see who else....and don't say 154 or 160 because because none of those guys are proven and Martinez has his own division to worry about. Okay let's see...Victor Ortiz again LMAO.. Khan...LMFAO Okay Okay Danny Garcia, Adrien Broner...Good fights but not the time yet period! So there you have it Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero get's the nod! And I am completely happy with that because this guy deserves the shot at this time and he showed he can make entertaining fights with his heart and determination!
C'mon you know Mayweather wanted the fight he needs the money! So no more excuses.. the real question is can Manny get off the HGH and comply to the random tests so the fight can go on period! Quit the excuses of needles when you have so many tattoes... and Floyd has none!
First off let's not forget Guerrero did struggle with Aydin if you want to compare Collazo, and Quintana.. Guerrero won but he didn't look impressive himself and lacked alot of punching power, which is whats need to negate Berto's attack. In this fight we will see if Guerrero is a true 47 pounder which I dont think that he is.. After this fight he can always fight Broner @ 140 which I think would be a way better fight for him and more comfortable weight..
We'll see how this goes, really he only has 2 fighters and hopefully he can keep them! But he has a great world class trainer in Floyd Sr. so props to him for making that business move. Would have been 10x better with Floyd Jr. in the mix.. But time will tell.
