From what I've seen of Haye, he isn't as aggressive as Sanders was, not nearly so. Sanders basically blitzed Klitchko, got him shaken, and then moved in for the kill like a true predator. I simply don't think Haye is capable of the same thing, QUOTE]
Did you not watch the enzo fight?
Also what people dont realise about the carl thompson fight is, it was only haye's 11th pro fight against an ex world champion and it was for the IBO cruiserweight title, which wlad holds the heavyweight version at the moment. that in itself should tell you about the haye.
Please shut up about this fight.
Also if watch his interviews, especially the ones with westwood and tim lovejoy, this guy lives and breathes this sport, one example was his entrance music to the enzo fight was a nod to i think larry holmes, who used the same track. You add adam booth to the equation you have the most knowledgeable partnership in boxing today.
Compare this to the likes of sam peter and wlad, who dont have a fucking clue, this is why so many brits are backing haye to win.
hmmm wonder what this could be about, if hes been working on it for 2 years...tv deal, signing with new promoters, surely not fighting sam peter at the O2?!?!?!
I think people overlook Haye has a brilliant trainer in Adam Booth. The guy is like the Arsene Wenger of boxing trainers, he uses scientific methods and completetly works out the opponent. He was excellent during the mormeck and mac fights.
It might his first fight in the US, but it looks like he'll fit right in.
I did hear some rumours he wanted to move his camp to Kansas, makes sense now...
Regarding the Andrade fight, I've been watching the build up shows sky have put together and if you time it, the ref counts to 10 after 21 seconds, which is outrageous. Yes Bute made it up by the skin of teeth at 10 but he was so out of it.
Fair play to him for blasting him out in the rematch.
To be honest i think he should be allowed a couple of defenses at home against the likes of Inkin etc, let him make a bit of money and hopefully by summer 2010 the SMW's will have some unification battles in vegas.
Don't understand why people are saying 'Karma'?
As fans we moan and bitch that the big fights don't happen, heavyweights are boring etc etc.
Then one fighter, Froch, who loves the sport and brings great excitement and some K.O. power, delivers a FOTY candidate in his previous fight, to win a world title. Then gives up his advantages of being the champion and takes a fight across the pond, and yet still no UK broadcaster picked the fight up (100% it will in the end)
And as for being a loud mouth, imagine you thought you were the best at SMW and all you wanted was a chance to fight the no.1 guy, but instead you have to watch him fight against guys who are old or clearly not good enough, it would kill you and you have to feel for the guy.

I dont think HBO made this I think it was the More4 documentary which aired in the U.K. And yes it does make you see Ali in a different light and makes you feel for Fraiser big time.
