?????
If you're a boxing fan i dont see what the problem is. Im not a fan of the Klitschkos but i dont see how being fan of theirs makes you a racist. They are good fighters...
Holy needs to retire but he is one of the VERY FEW who was, is, and probably always will be willing to face ANY and EVERYONE. he really is "the real deal"
dont know too many historical boxing websites but boxrec is USUALLY pretty acurate at listing fighters' PREVIOUS fights. most fighters that have ever had a boxing license are listed here. one word of caution though...boxrec is NOTORIOUS for jumping the gun about upcoming fights.

with better training i could have seen him outboxing hatton pretty well. dont think he would have beaten cotto though...thats one of those style mismatches(styles makes fights)
lets not get ahead of ourselves. i would love to see this fight as well but i dont give pac much of a chance against pwill, even at 147. too much of a size difference
cotto just got beaten by Pac...wouldnt look good on floyds part if he took this fight now. it would seem that he waited until after cotto took a couple of beatings to finally face him.
its a matter of relativity...
when you go from making 50 mil in a couple of fights to about 80-90 thousand(just a guess) a year you become whats is known in laymans terms(rich folks terms) as broke.
no...
dont get me wrong, Wlad has been on a good run but not good enough to be on p4p. now if he were to fight his brother and beat him, then you might be on to something.
this is so weird because i was thinking the exact same thing. I like both of these guys and i dont want to see either be relegated to journyman or gatekeeper status.
i would go with paul simply because he could have good fights in three weight divisions. i dont think he could have many, but i think he could make 147 at least once or twice more. i would agree that paul might have some problems at 160 but i think his punch out put would give him a better than average chance...even against pavlik and abraham
I see chad as solid at 175 but thats about it...except maybe cruiser, where i think his athleticism could take him places. i mean, hell, adamek is running the cruisers, and chad already beat him.
i think he would have a couple of losses but couldve probably avenged most or all of them. and thats the thing, the losses wouldnt have mattered because of the quality of opposition he was facing. im hoping that floyd is truely back to face the best...ala cotto, pac, etc. sure he beat some good guys in the lower ranks but mosley's record takes the cake. and this is a floyd fan saying this.
I heard that Shelly Finkel said that in 48 hours she would know what stations the fight is going to be on...
i laughed my ass off when i saw that...
on the topic at hand, espn or versus would be excellent. but id settle for showtime also. just give us something!
draw?anyones,fight:boxing:
is this in a boxing match or a pie eating contest...
in all seriousness, id say cameron for the simple fact that tua is WAY past his prime
I literally wanted to knock him out. That's the dumbest thing about boxing I've ever heard. That's a big reason why he doesn't like him.
people will always find something negative to say about Tyson's skills based on tysons antics outside of the ring. it makes no sense. the truth is that a PROPERLY TRAINED tyson would give any fighter of any era hell.
WHY WOULDN'T HE ALLOW A SMALL DELAY TO GIVE THE HEAVIES SOME LIFE AND FIGHT HAYE????
lets see...
1. because Wlad is the champ and the star in germany and has a duty to 60,000 some odd ticket holders that have made extensive arrangements to be in that part of the world on that day.
2. because Haye used his dick sucker to get the fight with Wlad and not an actual accumulation of heavyweight victories
3. because Wlad vs. Chagaev is for THE RING title
does that help? dont get me wrong, i want Wlad to lose...i dont like him. I would have been pulling for Haye all the way...but Wlad is doing exactly what he is supposed to do. he isnt avoiding anyone and he isnt a coward. I surely dont think a coward would bypass an easier fight for a harder one...rrrrrright
:gay:
no way... could eventually get there no doubt but nowhere near p4p status yet. one of the best in the division, absolutely. people who are ranked p4p are so b/c they are far and away in a different class of fighter. Juanma has a little ways to go before he gets there. there were people on here screaming the same thing about Vic ortiz...
i could see this happening. I am HOPING that chagaev realizes the only way he is going to beat wlad is to go after him nonstop. If he can do this itll be a good fight. if not, zzzzzzzz.......
