Am i the only one who thinkg floyd makes excuses for not knocking out oppenets ? after every fight he sas he hurt his hand or elbow, but yet he says he dislocated his elbow during canelo fight but post fight interview he is moving his arm fine.
Okay so smaller guys dont carry as much power moving up in weight etc. But in street fights, skinny people knock out guys who outweigh them by 50+ pounds.
So technically floyd can one punch KO canelo, and people up to 200 pounds.
For some reason boxers can take punches better than regular people though..
So anyways, I think floyd could of easily knocked canelo out, and I think floyds power is under rated.
Floyd actually gets caught alot, especially in the first 3 rounds lately..
Ok not a lot, but it seems like Floyd gets caught at least once during all of his last 7 fights with one good shot early. Only takes one punch to go to sleep :)
Im a huge mayweather fan
but i couldn't help but notice in the
Mosley, Gatti and Ortiz fights, he gets quick sucker punches in as soon as the ref breaks them up, or when the ref is talking to the oppenet.
Just imagine him trying that against Floyd , shoulder roll check left hook , down. Everybody kept rushing him, If you would just stand your ground and apply defense , it could be easy fight.
After watching the Ray Robinson highlight video, it did not look like anything he threw would have affect on Mayweather, Floyd would Shoulder roll all of Robinson's shot, then pot shot him, kinda like the mosley fight.
Floyd fought and beat a Oscar De La hoya that outweighed him by about 20 lbs on fight night, So why in the world would he be scared of a 145 lbs Manny who is on roids, and his head is the size of a watermelon. We all know how accurate Floyd is, he will not miss one punch to manny big ass head.
This proves boxing is far superior to mma/ufc, all the washed up boxing stars can go over there and still have a chance to win a fight, A washed up ufc fighter could not stand in a ring with a pro boxer...
I do not think a even power ful jab would work, you see what happen to gatti, judah, he even did it a few times to DE LA HOYA until he made OSCAR completley stop throwing the jab.
haha ok...yeah, cause Joe was ever scared of punching or is anything like Mosley.........First of all joe as a southpaw would have an advantage since Floyd has struggled with southpaws. Second of all, joe isnt going to stop punching. Sorry, he wouldnt care if he just hit Floyd's shoulders or his gloves, he would punch and punch and punch. Joe never really even got hurt in 46 pro fights against guys his size...uhh...I dont think hed have much of a problem with taking Floyd's hits. Also, I dont care if joe is slapping, his punches still hurt people and he would definitely hurt a much smaller fighter. Sorry this wouldnt even be a contest. While I am sure tehre are some SMW's Floyd could beat, Joe's the best ever at 168...he wouldnt lose to someone below him in weight.
Where in floyds undefeated record did he struggle with southpaws?
And if he can beat a 168 oscar de la hoya , im pretty sure he could beat a 168 pillow puncher calzaghe
Ricky can afford to lose about 10k fans, he still has atleast 100k more brits behind him.
But every fight he looses he will lose another 10k and every fight Floyd wins, he will gain another 10k
You all are missing the point, ppl say Floyd should earn his #1 Spot back. Why? Jordan got it back , no questions asked.. Who knew if he still had his legs and spped when he retired..
Lmao Mayweather, No question.. No one has ever Beat Floyd, Floyd would be the biggest win anyone in the WW division can have..
You can go around saying "I'm the one who beat Floyd, The great floyd."
Thats way better than going around saying "Oh ya, i beat Mosley.. No big deal"
