While Floyd didn't throw many combos verse Canelo. I felt that if he would of put punches together he could of got Canelo out towards the 8th round. Now Floyd was about 150 on fight night while Canelo was 15lbs heavier.. Does this 15 lbs make a huge difference when it comes to the smaller mayweather being able to knock out the heavier man? I know people say Mayweather is a pillow puncher, but with his speed I feel as if he could of KO Alveraz. On a side note, when adrian broner was sparring at floyds gym he was fighting someone who looked 5'6 180 pounds and adrian looked as if he could of KO'd him through the head gear. But he is a 140 pound fighter..

Idk if anyone has seen but kimbo is now 2-0 as a pro boxer. During school today me and a buddy got into an argument about who would win in a boxing match. He took Kimbo i took floyd. His arguments were, Kimbo is way bigger Kimbo throws harder punches I personally think mayweather would knock kimbo out, since kimbo throws wide punches, has no type of defense, and I don't consider him to be a pro fighter. My buddy just laughed at me and brought up the fact that floyd is 150 lbs, floyd does not hit hard enough. I could see floyd landing straight right leads and moving in circles around kimbo leading to a KO. My friend does not watch too much boxing. I think if floyd fought a real heavy weight like haye or klits, he would lose. But kimbo? I will take floyd.. OPINIONS?

Is the way to beat Floyd Mayweather but how come in every single fight, you see the oppenent jab at Floyd, Floyd backs his head up, than counters with a straight right.. I dont think the jab is very effective against FLOYD :boxing:

When micael Jordan won a few championships and retired in his prime to go play baseball. Everyone said he was the best player ever. When he came back he was still considered the BEST player ever.. He did not have to prove he was the best player. So why does Floyd Mayweather???
