Hopkins - Floyd is top 3 All Time, better than Leonard, Hagler, Hearns

I mean I can see an opinion for SRL having better Boxing IQ because he was great but not so much hearns. and even that is debateable. Just look how well and differently floyd fights people. I have no problem with people who Rank SRL over floyd but I disagree. I disagree because I he lost to duran in his prime and lost to hagler imo. Floyd has proven that hes on another level with his dismantling of JMM, corrales, canelo. resume vs Resume its very hard to put Floyd over SRL but you can make a case for it You disagree because SRL lost to Duran in his prime....Duran being one of the top 10 greatest ever, and it was a damn close fight where SRL went to war, even though he didn't have to. That's your reason? You think Floyd dismantling a B level brawler, a lightweight and a guy who is simply good is better than anything Leonard has done? Leonard winning the welterweight title from Benitez is greater than anything Floyd has ever done. That's how big the gap is. And please, unless all you've seen is Hagler/Hearns, you can't be serious saying that Hearns had a lower boxing IQ than Floyd. Hearns outboxed a supreme boxer for almost 9 rounds and then in the rematch, repeated the feat and sadly got a draw. And Hearn's power was so great he put the normally iron chinned Duran to sleep, what do you think he would do to Floyd? If Hatton could catch Floyd, if 38 year old Mosley could catch Floyd, if post-prime Oscar could catch Floyd, if Castillo could catch Floyd, if post prime Cotto bloodied Floyd, you think he'd be able to avoid a primed and super fast Hearns? This is quite possibly the worst argument ever.

Mayweather would struggle with Benitez, let alone any of the other four. Those guys did have a tough time with Benitez also

Rehtaewyam's a good southpaw and a tough fighter. I think Oaiuqcap Ynnam is ducking him. Oaiupcap is a very good right handed boxer with great defense though I don't know if Rehtaewyam's aggressive style will work on that.

I think its more the eye test. No one skill wise can beat floyd. Its only a matter of opinion but Floyd is one of the greatest boxers to ever grace the sport no doubt floyd's a very skilled fighter but even an eye test would tell you that skills look better when you're fighting a bum compared to fighting a top fighter. a past prime cotto looked sensational against rodriguez whereas he looked lost sometimes against trout. eye test is deceiving sometimes.

Floyd could possibly end up top 3 all time. We've never seen skills that he's got, ever. Yeah. All he has to do is beat the klits. Not at a catchweight obviously.

floyd isn't a GBP fighter so I don't know if Bhop is hyping him up, esppecially when he said it well after th fight. If you go with bhop on what he said about manny, you should go with him here. Floyd is a GBP fighter but he wants to convince everyone that he is some sort of independent fighter. Floyd would not be the star he is today without TR and then GBP. Even now, all of his fights are GBP products, Oscar, Schaefer, Hops and Mosley all hype his fights, they are all working for GBP. It's pretty obvious. And what did Hops say about Manny? I'm not discrediting him, I respect a lot of his boxing opinions but in this case he is obviously trying to hype Floyd, in case you didn't know, Hopkins is a part of GBP, this is his job. Same way as he sometimes hypes up Khan etc. When Hops takes off his GBP hat I respect his opinions but in these scenarios I just think he is plain wrong. As do most people who have watched boxing for longer than 12 months. But at the same time, I won't attack Hops opinions beyond a few minor jokes because I respect him too much.
