I've come to realise that some people love the sport of boxing in all it's forms, some people like what they like and some just want to find the negativity in anything particular fighters do.
Mayweather moves, pot shots and makes good fighters look ordinary and people say it's boring (usually because the opponent is just too clueless to adapt).
Mayweather changes, stands in front of his opponent more, even walks them down and takes more chances. Do people say: "now that's more like it". Nope. they speculate that Mayweather has slipped, lost his legs, is getting old.
Mayweather proves the naysayers wrong by going back to moving, pot shots and making good fighters look ordinary....... and he's boring again.
Some people love boxing, some like what they like, and others are just full of negativity and there's just no cure for that.

My words exactly. I've been saying this on this forum for years without hating on Pacquiao at all. He's a great guy, he means well but he has his vices as we all do. However the pactards make him out to be some sort of deity. Pacquiao for years has always been my top 1 or 2 fighters and he will retire an all time great. But even Ali had his share of issues as all humans do.

Fight Hype Reporting that Fight MAY be off due to Glove choice in Maidana Camp
"No fight," stated Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe, who moments ago just left a meeting with members of Team Maidana and representatives from the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Evidently, a controversy over the gloves that WBA welterweight champion Marcos Maidana is wanting to use has placed Saturday's fight in jeopardy.
When both teams arrived to select their gloves, Team Mayweather was not pleased with the lack of padding in the Everlast gloves that Team Maidana wanted to use. After hours of back-and-forth conversations between Ellerbe, Robert Garcia, and Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, the Commission ruled that the specific gloves that Maidana wanted to use were not acceptable, however, the actual brand and style would be allowed provided Maidana use a different pair.
That decision did not seem to sit too well with Ellerbe, who had no problem declaring that the fight would be off. Team Maidana abruptly packed their bags and left the room. It's unclear at this point what the status of the fight is.

Look, he is 25 years old, takes on all comers, ducks no one, and has undoubtedly elite offensive skills. So he has a suspect chin, but so do a lot of offensive minded fighters. He has heart, and he has balls, which counts for a hell of a lot in my book, so give him a damn break. He's earned it.
As a fight fan, he is EXACTLY what you are looking for ... young, blazing offense, heart, ducks no one, always wants to fight the best.
