vlad will beat the shit out of byrd. I think that as far as THAT title belt is concerned, from the fan's perspective, that's enough to warrant a title shot.
rahman came to his last fight in shape, and if he can do that, he can beat anybody, including vitali, but won't. Even if he can committ himself to working before the fight, once he gets in the ring, he gets discouraged easily and becomes lazy. Obviously, fighting a guy that is 7 inches taller than you, you need to force the action by getting inside and putting together combos. After he eats a few rounds-worth of jabs he'll become frustrated and give up, throwing aimless jabs and an occasional haymayker right. Vince Klitschko will win, i can't make a more definite prediction than that without knowing what kind of shape rahman comes in at.
Ok, please don't kill me for asking, but for some reason this came up at work when we were talkin about Corley. Prolly cuz I thought it was Chop-Chop who did it, but now im not so sure, and my boss didn't think it was Chop-Chop either, so WHO is it?!?
Help a brother with a terrible memory :-)
where did you hear/read/see this?
I agree with the opening post. Not only because Mayweather would beat him, but because he is coming up in weight, and isn't a particularly big draw himself.
Vitali's steroid use
I am not pointing fingers at anyone, and I am unsure whether or not I condone steroid use:
but I have heard some derogatory things about steroid use, coming from people who support Vitali Klitschko.
he is a POSTER BOY for steroid use. He even admitted it.
Obviously I cannot send a link from ********boxing.com
Does this harm his credibility?
There was one incident, which cost him his spot at the Olympics. He said that the drug was taken unknowningly. The guy is not an idiot, although even an idiot would have the common sense not to take a supplement to increase his performance for an event that he knows he'll be banned from once he test positive for it. You're not suggesting that an elite amateur athelete coming up in an amateur system of the former Soviet Union didn't expect drug testing prior to any qualification event?
Anyone read Smokin' Joe's biography? I remember him saying he thought it'd be best for Marvis to "take the money" against Tyson, rather than get bashed about for a few years without making any real cash.
Damn, let's hope Marvis can't read.

if any or all of those don't work for anybody, it's because you may need to be logged on to his site to see them...in any case, just trust me, tszyu is a fucking butterball within 2-3 weeks following a fight....every time
My vote goes to Lewis/Rahman 2.
I heard that Lewis 1. 2. from the other end of my house with the speakers up.
Loudest punch ever recorded in a boxing fight IMO.
Agree, totally clean, crisp, brutal.
